We were in Abilene to tour colleges. Your hotel was convienent to where we were going. It was very clean and spacious for the four of us. The breakfast was amazing.

Check in was smooth but 15 minutes later another guest used their key to open the room. Just 15 minutes! You would think desk personnel would remember a room check in or have some type of check to be sure two guest don't check in at the same room. Also the A/C didn't not work properly and the room was always muggy even though I was told it worked fine. "Holiday Inn Express convenient to ACU and HSU"
We were visiting HSU and the hotel was very convenient to campus. I thought being close to I-20, there might be a noise issue, but it was very quiet.

We went to Abilene to a wedding and were told some of the guests were staying at the Holiday Inn Express. I felt the rooms were way over priced for the condition that the hotel was in. We were given our keys at check-in, but when we got upstairs we found that our room was not even cleaned yet. Housekeeping wanted us to wait a few minutes for them to […] clean, but we had to get ready for the wedding so we ask for a different room. They gave us a different one with no problem. We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites (Abilene, TX). The room was clean, large and comfortable. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. I am definately returning to this hotel when I visit again. I had a concern about an exterior door that wasn't locking properly (anyone could enter without using […] a room key/card). It was an excellent hotel experience. My husband left is razor charger in the bathroom. The maid happened to go into our room and met us in the parking lot as we were leaving with the charger. What service!!!!

"Nice, new hotel"
We booked on hotels.com. We had a general idea of where the hotel was located, but we were so pleased to see just how perfect it was for us. We were visiting the Hardin-Simmons University. It was lieterally just a couple of minutes away. We loved that the hotel was new and was next to some other newly constructed hotels, a new Wal-Mart, cracker barrel, […] etc. The people were nice, beds comfortable, clean rooms, and an awesome breakfast. The room was extremely clean and perfectly equipped for a business traveler. The bed was very comfortable and the room was dark and quiet. I had a great nights sleep. The continental breakfast offered a lot more than most and was quite good.

Hard to see the hotel as it is behind another hotel. Need better signage to direct guests to location. Otherwise, very nice staff and service.

This was definately a pleasant stay. The staff was wonderful and we really enjoyed the room. The beds allowed such a great nights sleep for all of us. The temperature of the room was perfect.
