Ett mycket bra hotell med London - mått mätt.Tyvärr ingick inte frukost i priset och var rätt dyr att lägga till. Fantastisk service av concierge-personalen som ordnade så att vi kunde lämna in vårt bagage hos ett syster-hotell avresedagen - på så sätt sparade vi värdefull tid och hann åka London Eye utan stress!

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Tillgodofyllde absolut våra önskemål. Ganska litet rum, men det gjorde inte så mycket då vi bara sov där. God och fräsch frukost. Hotellet ligger i lugna kvarter och nära kommunikation.Prisvärt.

Svårt att hitta. Vi hade 81 trappsteg till vårt rum = ingen hiss. Brandsäkerhet obefintlig. Fick stå och vänta på frukost = för litet utrymme. Oerhört lyhört vi hörde grannarna som om de vore inne i vårt rum. Säng alldeles för smal. Åk inte dit!

Vi hade bokat ett trippel rum. Vi fick ett rum högst upp (4 våningar utan hiss), ståhöjd endast mitt i rummet och utrustat med en ordinarie dubbelsäng (ok) och en extradubbelsäng (knölig). Hela rummet hade slagsida (uppförsbacke till badrummet). Trevlig personal. Bra frukost (en aning dyr). Hotellet inte värt pengarna. Bra läge i victoria smutsiga glas och vattenkokare på rummet safeboxen var urladdad när vi kom den fungerade inte.. Bra hjälp med o bära vääskor, städerskan gjorde inte något annat än att bädda gamla lakan och täcken

Vänligt bemötande, litet badrum, städning och rena handdukar varje dag. Victoria station nära, lugnt område. Sainsburys närbutik nära, för mig med 3 tonåringar, för dricka och smörgåsar till kvällen. Promenadavstånd till sevärdheter. Badrummet var trångt och tidvis drog avloppet dåligt. Sängarna var bekväma men 4 sängar i ett rum var trångt. "Familjeweekend i London"
Bra och prisvärt boende nära Victoria station under vår helg i London med familjen. Läget är utmärkt då det är Max 10min promenad från Victoria station. Vi valde hotellet eftersom vi flög in till Gatwick vilket visade sig vara toppen. Skönt att bo nära kommunikationerna. Tips är också att ta bus 38 till och från Piccadilly Circus istället för tunnelbanan […] med byte. Hotellet då, jo som väntat var är det trångt i sann engelsk anda men rummen är fräscha och rena. Vi bokade faniljerum med fyra riktiga sängar. Två 90 och en dubbelsäng. TV och gratis trådlöst internet i rummet är också plus när man ska planera sina dagar på stan. Vi provade dock inte frukosten som finns på hotellet till en kostnad av 6-8 pund. Läs mer
Enligt mig skulle jag säga att det är mer som ett 2 stjärnigt än 4 stjärnigt. Rekomenderar hotellet pga läget nära till Victoria station. Och om man är ute efter standard enligt två stjärnigt hotell men ej mer.

Det viktigaste fungerade bra, dvs incheckning, rum, garderob, säng, dusch, utcheckning, betalning. Jag kom efter kl 22 och lämnade före kl 7 så jag hann inte se så mycket mer. Frukosten började senare och jag lyckades inte använda deras trådlösa nätverk, orsak oklar.

Hotellet låg bara 5-6 minuters promenad från Victoria station. Vi köpte ett Travel Card vilket gjorde att vi kunde åka kommunalt (tunnelbana och bussar) hela tiden. Fungerade perfekt. Hotellet hade en bra frukost (bättre än man är van vid i England) och MYCKET trevlig personal överallt. Familjerummet låg i källaren och var bra renoverat. Byggnaden är så typisk engelsk det går att få. Mycket trevlig personal (förutom en surbobba i köket). När vi kom flög dörren upp och en yngre kille kom och insisterade på att få bära in våra väskor. Med ett glatt leende slet han upp våra väskor tre våningar, stackarn. Och han bad inte om dricks utan var glad att han kunde hjälpa till!!! Vi hade valt […] familjerum med frukost. Rummen var små men ny renoverade och mycket fräscha. Sängarna var toppen(jag brukar ha jätte problem med detta annars). Nästa gång vi åker till London blir det hit då det tar 20-25 min att gå till Parlamentet och 5-10 minuter till Victoria station. Bra pubar och annat i när området. Läs mer

Trevlig och mycket serviceinriktad personal. Mycket prisvärt och nära till Victoria Station. Rummet fyller behovet, två ordentliga sängar och en dubbelsäng i famijlerummet (dvs inga extra bäddar eller bäddsoffor) och fräscht litet badrum. Enda minuset var att dubbelsängen var lite smal, två vuxna som är vana vid 180 säng trängdes lite under ett täcke […] - men det är överkomligt. Fräsch continental frukost där tillägget för engelsk frukost var marginell. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell för den som inte behöver bra övernattning till rimligt pris. Läs mer

"Georgian an Bower hotel"
Helt nyrenoverat så det var mycket fräscht. Tar ca 10 minuter till Victoria station som är en stor station. Buss 11 går väldigt nära som går till House of Parlament och Trafalgar Square.
Otroligt trevlig personal, fint rum, över förväntan, bra frukost, vi är väldigt nöjda. Si och så med varmvattnet.

I spend 3 nights in af very tiny room, with no minibar, no hot water in the shower and a very small bed. I don't understand why this hotel has ever got a 4 stars evaluation. London city hotels probaly have their own standards. I was really disappointed and don't hope that Hotels.com has anything to do with the rating.
Nice and clean but bathroom very cramped and awkward room 10.

"Best staff imaginable, but the hotel needs work"
The hotel staff are without equal. They are genuine and lovely people - and whoever does the hiring there certainly knows what they are doing. But when I arrived at the hotel I learned not every room has an en suite (so be careful with your booking arrangements!!!) and while I was fortunate for having been able to upgrade to an en suite arrangement, […] I was sorely disappointed by the thin walls and the level of noise from the adjoining room. "Wifi"
The wifi in the main building is OK - but not perfect, however in their other building (Bower House) it didn't work, and I was told they frequently have problems with it. Also the room in Bewer house was cold. On the other hand the room was nice, and the location is very good. Not a 4 star hotel as shown - but a good deal for their prices.

"Hotel Geogian & Bower House"
Very nice rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Not so far to a top class pub (Cask Pub & Kitchen, rated highly by CAMRA). We had a room on the top floor, no elevator, 96 steps from the breakfast room to our room. Good exercise!!

Rooms are very small and compact but well maintained and comfortable with modern bathroom. Complimentary wireless internet worked perfectly. Excellent location close to Victoria in quiet neighborhood. Helpful staff and very convenient for exploring central London.

Great location and lovely friendly staff, but hotel itself was tired and had a funny smell in the common area with bags of towels thrown in the hall. when we returned to our room there was a false nail on the dressing table obviously from a cleaner or previous guest.The bed and shower were good but i wouldn't stay again. "Excellent location to see London"
We stayed at the hotel in order to be able to visit London attractions. The location was great, easy to get buses & subway. The room was small, it was clean & sufficient to get a good night's rest. The staff were friendly & helpful. I would recommend it to others & I would stay there again. The breakfast room was clean & the food was great.

"Not 4 Star quality"
Room was the smallest I have ever Stayed in and the noise from the room above came right through the ceiling. First day there was NO water in the room because of maintenance which they didn't tell me. It was a good price but it didn't live up to the desceiption at all.

A nice little place. The staff was very nice and helpful with local information. The room was small as expected, but very clean. Private bathroom facilities. Easy access to the underground rail and coach (bus) terminal. Nice neighborhood, very safe. Close to Buckingham Palace, but far enough away to not pay a fortune to stay.

"Georgian and Bower House Hotel in London, England"
The location is very central, about 5-10 minutes from Victoria Station (rail and underground, and less than 5 minutes from the bus station). - The room was clean, but very small, even for a single. It was a good use of space and since I was out for most of the day, the small factor didn't bother me. I'm petite (5 ft & 115 lbs), but anyone much larger […] will find that particular room too small. From the pictures posted the rooms are very different, in both decor and size, so this review applies only to the single room. - The shower pressure was good, surprisingly. However, the water drained very slowly, so I found myself using a lower water pressure to avoid flooding. - There was noise from the street, but as a city person I'm used to this, anyone from suburban or rural areas might find the noise to be a problem. - There are no elevators so luckily I was only 1 flight up, even 1 flight might have been awkward for me if not for the reception staff who were more than willing to help me with my bigger/heavier bag. -Reception was also very helpful with helping me arrange the airport shuttle. Overall, I was happy with this choice. Although I found it odd to be staying at a B&B that ddn't provide breakfast (or who provides breakfast at an additional charge). "Quaint Building, Good Location"
Not really a hotel, Georgian and Bower House is really a B&B set in several rowhouses in a nice neighborhood, located very conveniently close to Victoria Coach Station (2 blocks) and Victoria Station (3 blocks). We had a booking with the included continental breakfast, which was very good, and we were given the option to upgrade to a full hot breakfast […] for an additional 2.5 pounds. The room was nothing fancy, but was clean (save for the chandelier, which needed dusting badly). The bathrooms are ridiculously small, but functional. There is no lift, but the staff was very accomodating, both storing our luggage due to an early arrival and then moving it to our room when we actually checked in. The beds were comfortable, towels were changed daily, even though some were a little threadbare. Overall the Georgian and Bower House was comfortable (except for the bathrooms), conveniently located, the staff was excellent, and I would recommend it. Läs mer
"Great Experience"
We stayed here in the family room in the basement area. The room was a great size, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Its located 10 mins from Victoria Station which was very convenient for getting around on the Tube and on to the National Underground. This Hotel was a great deal and I would go back there for my next visit to London.

The hotel was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and clearly recently refurbished, with good bathrooms. The only downside was that my single room was tiny... but with just enough room for a 2 night stay.

When I checked in I was surprised that my room does not have a private toilet . I had to use a shared one down the hallway. I don't recall this was mentioned when I booked it online at hotels.com.

loved it, perfect location, great helpful staff. It was perfect. Might need earplugs if your a light sleeper because the walls are thin. But it was well maintained, and even had internet, will definitely recommend to others.

The hotel is slightly far away from Victoria station, not as close as what I expected. The location is quiet. The impression of the overall hotel is old because the lobby has not renovated. But the room do look OK. The bathroom is separated from the toilet and both rooms are very small, The sinks are small and you have to lean forward to reach it. I booked this hotel at the last minute, just hoping I could find something clean for a 1-night stopover in London. This hotel absolutely fit the bill. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is located just a few blocks from Victoria Station, which features coach service to locations all over England. I was extremely pleased, […] though this was likely due to the fact that I'm used to tiny hotel rooms in big cities-- these rooms are very tight, but they are clean and have all the necessities, so as long as you don't go in expecting to be able to spread out, you should be fine. As an extraordinarily paranoid human being, I was a bit nervous about leaving my window open at night because I was on the ground floor, but I think for most this would not seem an overwhelmingly severe risk as the window was fairly high off the ground. We had spent all summer in great hotels, b and b's and really expected the last 2 days of layover in london area to be the great finale. Good location near to Victoria Station. No lift, so be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Bathroom minute. If you're obese there's no way you'd fit between loo and sink!
