Låg bra till den stora motorvägen, så det var perfekt eftersom vi skulle vidare till Orlando från Miami. Mycket vänlig personal. Frukosten var absolut bra till det priset, fanns både pannkakor, yoghurt och varm mat.

Jätte mysigt hotellområde med pool, bubbelpool och solstolar precis bredvid vattnet. Hotellrummen är inte de modernaste men cubanskt charmiga! Bra service av de anställda och rena rum. Vi blev positivt överraskade av hotellets atmosfär och återvänder gärna!

"Fantastisk utsikt"
Den fantastiska havsutsikten räddade semestern. Perfekt läge mitt på stranden. Rummet var väldigt lyhört, smutsigt, säkerhetsboxen var trasig och det var i princip stopp i avloppet i duschen. Det utlovade köket, som var insmetat med gamla matrester, bestod av en trasig spis, några krokiga bestick och en kyl/frys som stod någon meter från sängen och […] lät som en helikopter. Långa köer i receptionen och det kunde ta upp till en timme att få ut bilen ur hotellets parkering...bilarna parkerades och kördes fram av hotellets personal men de parkerade in våran bil flera gånger så att de fick lov att flytta alla andra bilar för att få fram våran bil. "Medelklass hotell i strandnära läge."
I relation till den prisnivå som hotellet har så är det ett helt ok hotell. Tämligen lugnt och väldigt bra läge vi beachen, med egen pool om så önskas. Absolut inget lyxhotell, men en bra standard även om det syns att hotellet inte är nytt. Dock pågår en renovering av ytskick etc. Området är trevligt med närhet till livsmedelsaffärer och bra lokala […] restauranger. "The New Casablanca - slitet men strandläge"
Den condo vi fick var rymlig men väldigt sliten, med ex.vis trasiga persienner och skavda bänkar. Sängarna var mycket sköna och städningen fungerade också bra. Det vi anmärkte på i receptionen (små myror på ett par ställen, stopp i avlopp, balkongdörr som ej gick att låsa) åtgärdades omgående och personalen var mycket tillmötesgående. Poolen och stranden […] var helt ok. Där fanns dock inga restauranger i den omedelbara närheten utan på köravstånd. En 7-elevenmack mitt emot. "Prisvärt hotell på Miami Beach"
Hotellt kanske inte tillhör de modernaste men till en relativt billig penning kan man bo på Miami Beach, få bilen säkert parkerad i garage, ta bussen till Lincon Road vid south beach för att äta, shoppa och titta på folk. "Hotel Casablanca i Miami"
Ett trevligt hotell som ligger bra i förhållande till stranden men en bit från South Beach, där den mesta kommersen, restauranger och nöjen finns. Men närheten till bussen gjorde att det gick att ta sig ner till centrum relativt fort (beroende på trafiken). Minus på hotellet: det rum vi fick var för litet för 4 personer som vi var, ingen balkong och […] ett extremt oväsen från AC. Med tanke på det relativt låga priset, så får man ta en del minus. "Bra läge"
Gammalt och lite slitet hotell som ligger precis vid beachen. Underbar personal även om städningen inte alltid fungerade så bra. Tycker ändå att det var helt klart prisvärt. Lite lyhört men inte störande. Att tänka på är att det ligger på 63 gatan och ska min ner till smeten (Lincoln Road 15 street) så är det bil eller taxi som gäller. Restauranger […] ligger på gångavstånd men går inte att jämföra med Lincoln R. Vi åt continental frukost en gång på restaurangen, sen köpte vi vår egen frukost på Publix. "Casablanca - ett mellanhotell"
Hotellet ligger ca 15 min från South Beach med buss. Bra läge till stranden och en fin pool. vänlighet i receptionen. Ganska lyhörda rum. OBS! Beställ INTE frukosten. Den var fruktansvärt dålig. Detta är ett hotell med perfekt läge vid Atlantkusten, men det har sett sina bästa dagar. Man får vad man betalar för, enkelt, ingen lyx, men utsikten och stranden är fantastisk. Although I was booked into 'The New Casablanca on the Ocean' (which is actually just called the Casablanca), I was moved to another nearby hotel 'Sixty Sixty' due to 'emergency repairs'. "Location is good, service is bad."
1. Parking: you can use public parking which is located 1 block away from hotel (1 $/1hr, free from 6 pm to 8 am) or valeting parking (17 $ for public parking pay time). 2. "Nice & close to the ocean"
I liked how the hotel had direct beach access and we did have a nice room, it was in a great area. The hotel is in need of some renovations and upkeep. Our ceiling was cracked and had paint patches all over it. Our toilet got plugged and it took over 30 min for someone to come fix it after I had to call twice and then no one came to even clean up the […] bathroom so we had towels all over the floor. "Beautiful Beach"
We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights from the 29th Dec 2012 to the 2nd Jan 2013. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had a balcony, which was nice. The room was run down, and the carpets were dirty. The sliding door to the balcony didn't lock. The kitchen and bathroom needs upgrading. Across the hallway there were smoking rooms, so every time we opened […] our door our room smelled of smoke. We had a non smoking room. Every morning we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and the order got messed up every time! The internet did not work, and we couldn't get phone service in the hotel. "Great place for adults and kids"
We enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect, on the beach, and in nice part of town, 7/11 store is across the street and Publix is witheen the walking distance. I rented a car, but then we walked everywhere so it was not necessary. Part of the building was under construction, but it did not bother us. Our room had a little kichenett, with newer appliances […] and granite countertops. The bathroom was recently remodeled, clean, the whole room was inviting, beds vere comfortable. The swimming pool was HUGE, fun for adults who wanted to swim laps and kids who wanted to play. Water was heated, no problems getting clean towels, plenty of chairs to sit and relax. "Good location and beach, but room needs updating"
The location of the hotel is excellent - between North and South Beach, right on the beach. Because the hotel is on the small side, but the frontage on the ocean is wide, the beach is very uncrowded. The pool is nice. There is a 7-11 right across the street. The refrigerator and microwave in the room was very handy. However, the room itself is desperately […] in need of an update. The carpeting is stained, the bathroom is sad and there are holes in the ceiling. Additionally, we verified twice that the beds in the room were Queen-sized, and despite the fact that this was confirmed by hotel staff, the beds were clearly doubles, not Queens. "Bad condition"
The hotel is in a bad condition. The entrance hall looks really nice, but that´s all. It was so loud in our room that it was hard to sleep. The Location is ok for Miami Beach, but not more. ""Stay away .... a college dorm experience""
This was a horrible experience. The worst. The hotel lobby was borderline dingy. The floors were dingy. The rooms were mediocre. At 3:11 in the morning, I called downstairs to ask them to come up to the next door room ... to quiet the inconsiderate people next door. At 4:11 ... with the noise still going on ... I TRIED again. But, no answer. After several […] attempts, I gave up. I took a shower ... and LEFT the hotel. It was like being in a dormitory. I have been staying in hotels for 35 years. This was the first time this had ever happened ... not leaving, not repeated attempts to address the situation ... but, I have NEVER had to ever call a hotel front desk to ask them to quiet another guest. Never. Not in 35 years. I am trying to get the hotel manager on the phone. BUT, TO NO AVAIL. I will keep trying ... but, I strongly urge guests to stay away from this place. "High expectation wasn't reached!"
During our trip in Florida we stayed at 3 different hotels (2 in Miami, 1 in Orlando). We had the highest expectations to Casablanca, because of the description, price, pictures etc.. The room had a really nice view to the beach, no finger to put on that!! The room was though really used and old, nothing at all as we expected. The location didn't reached […] our expections either. Without knowing anything about Miami, we figured out that the location on Collins Ave might be a great location, but to get to south beach, were everything happens, we had to take a bus for 15-20 min each way (at least we could take a bus 3 min away from the hotel for $2). The staff were helpful with etc the busses. I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again, maybe if I'm coming back with a future family I would stay here, but while I'm still young and/or travelling with friends I would choose a better location (south beach!). "Ocean view"
Very nice room with two double beds, a full kitchen including an oven and a huge wardrobe. Our room had a great view of both the pool and the ocean. Right on the beach which is great. Enthusiastic staff. Clean rooms. The service was good and we had a wonderful view. The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms were uncomfortable and tiny. The outlets were loose so anything that we plugged in would fall out. "Not what I expected"
Friendly staff, but did not allow early checkin. The hotel is under renovation, so the drills and hammers start early in the morning. Don't expect to sleep in. Had a nice water view, but the hotel is very dated.Verifierad gästrecension
"Fantastic pool and beach, rooms not so nice"
Most of the pictures are very misleading. In particular the bathroom. I was very horrified with my bathroom and our friends was just as bad. Very gross, in much need of updating.The kitchen did not provide a coffee pot or toaster had to ask the front desk for one (which they promptly provided) The rooms are clean but also very much in need of upgrading. […] Unfortunatly because of this they give the overall feeling of being dirty. I would never pay the full rate for this hotel but the sale rate is worth it. The lobby is beautiful. The pool and beach are fantastic and and make it worthwhile. The staff were helpful and nice. Restaurant had good food. My room had a balcony that was literally on the roof and was disgusting full of garbage and filth and connected to other balconies. I did not feel too safe. My balcony and sliding door appeared to of never been cleaned. The door was rickety and I had to struggle to open it. It seems that some of the rooms are rented long term as condos I think. There was one broken chair on my balcony and no table. I would of enjoyed my stay a lot more if the rooftop had been cleaned as it was a shame to have a beautiful view of the ocean and have to look over the filth on my balcony and the roof. We felt very safe on the beach, even after dark. The hotel had security on site. The area doesnt have a lot of shopping and few restaurants. We found a gem of a little cafe across the street.
