We arrived at around 6 so i checked in a got my key to room 116 but didnt check the because we thought since it was late we'd better get something to eat quickly. After having a nice dinner at k-bob's we went to the hotel to rm 116 an thank goodness, there wasnt anyone in the rm at the time except a suitcase. The clerk gave a occupied rm. We arrived very late. The man behind the desk already had our cards ready and so check in was literally seconds - exactly what we needed. "AVOID THIS HOTEL"
HOTEL IS VERY OLD AND RUN DOWN. ROOMS SEEMED TO BE REMODLED BUT WERE STILL VERY OLD SCHOOL. FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. SMALL LOBBY AREA HAD A STRONG SMELL OF URINE. "Colorado vacation"
Clean and friendly! We were well taken care of on our trip. The only negative comment I have is the breakfast was pretty slim. Instant oatmeal, yogurt or peanut butter at least would've been a great improvement over the Englisj muffin, blueberry muffins and cereal. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. "Great place to stay near Royal Gorge..."
Enjoyed our stay. Front desk worker was a kind and polite person. He helped me find a good place to run locally and allowed my daughter to see his pet duck (yes, it lives in one of the hotel rooms with him!). Was a good place to stay near the Royal Gorge. "Good Hotel for the Price, Don't Expect Frills"
The hotel is about 1/2 block from the main highway which gives it great privacy and quiet from traffic noises. The hotel was nearly empty because it was not high tourist season and mid-week. Because of that fact, the desk staff call me by name upon arrival and upgraded my room for free. The continental breakfast was okay (pastries, bagels, english muffins, […] cereal, apple and orange juice, and milk by the gallon.) I would primarily recommend this place to people on a budget looking for nothing more than a place to sleep. I could not find a workout space or pool or any amenities that seem to be common at hotels. Overall, I had a good experience because price was my main consideration for selecting this hotel. Quite, comfortable and friendly. David, the night desk clerk, gave us a warm greeting upon entering. The room was neat, close, comfortable and clean. Price was right and we had an enjoyable stay! "GOOD LOCATION"
This hotel is situated in a great location. Close to hwy, downtown, Royal Gorge, restaurants etc. Quiet at night. If you stay here a must eat place is Pizza Mania. Wonderful. The manager Dee was very informative and friendly.Verifierad gästrecension
