This hotel room was very dirty n the free breakfast was all gone by 8 am next time I would stay at the comfort inn across the street a little more money butt very clean

The place is old and not well maintained. I could even handle that kind of thing when in a pinch for a place to stay. I'm not overly picky. As long as it's clean and I feel safe, I'm okay there. Neither of these criteria were met. The towels and wash cloths were all stained grey and yellow. Hairs and dirt in the bathroom sink, shower, and floor. The […] carpet was not swept. The bed seemed clean, I tried not to think about it too much since I had no other choice. I did not feel safe at all. I arrived back from my event around 1:00 am. As I was walking to the front entrance, I noticed a creepy slack jawed fellow staring at me from the lobby window. I walked in to find no receptionist at the desk, I was all alone. I walked past creepy dude and he continued to stare at me. I continued up the stairs up to my room, and he came up the stairs behind me! Got to my room and he still just stood there at the top of the stairs staring. I pretended to fumble around in my purse for my door card, scared to open my door for fear he could push me in. He slowly started to keep going up the next flight of steps. I quickly got in my door and slammed it behind me. I was so scared! Upon check out, there was no one at the desk again, so I had to just leave my door card on the desk. Oh....and the scariest thing of all...they were out of regular coffee, they only had decaf. I can't review this hotel as I was moved to a different hotel due to flooding. I called them because I was concerned about the distance to where we were going to be that weekend. The lady on the phone told me, in a not nice tone, that I will still be twenty min from where we will be going for our weekend. I also said the place where we are being moved […] to is cheaper and then she cut me off. She said that no worries we paid for this. That was not what I was asking but couldn't get a word a word in. Well the day of arrival we were disapointed to find out that it was an hour away from were we wanted to be. The beds were tiny and there was trains that went by all night. Also the back way in was never locked and was taped closed. So I can't give a review for this place but I'm seriously thinking about not using this chain again. Läs mer

When we first walked in the smell was pretty bad. Thankfully our room did not have that odar. We did not have toilet paper and had to ask for it. 2 of the 3 wash clothes were brown with dirt. When my husband took them to the front desk to ask for CLEAN ones. He was given new ones however was told "the workers use them and they get staind" ok.....don't […] give me the "workers" stained wash clothes! No to mention the fact the the bathroom was not very clean looking itself! The next day, after our room was "cleaned" The bathroom was still in fair condition and we had recieved 2 more BROWN wash clothes.....The lines appeared to be clean, however the floor could have used a good vacuming! Newly remodeled. Beds were comfortable. Beauty rest mattresses and the fact that they were queen size were a plus. We had to pay an additional $10/day for a roll away bed. It made the room crowded, we rearranged the desk and made it doable. The staff were very friendly and willing to do anything to make our stay wonderful. This is the fourth time I've stayed at this hotel. They are updating with new beds and furniture. Much more comfortable to sleep and overall look of rooms have improved. I'm not happy with the large jump in pricing. I realize improvements cost money but feel that prices are much higher than they should be for this type of motel in this area.

Very helpful staff at the front desk. Hotel is being renovated so there's a list of things they are doing. Clean rooms and a good price point for the most part. Not much in the way of options for activities close by but there's a great super market a cross the street.

The money you may save from staying at this hotel is not worth it. First of all, it's not that close to the Interstate so there isn't much of a convenience benefit. Our room had not been cleaned properly, there was hair under the sheets, the bathroom towels were stained a yellowish brown, and the heater blew out cold air even when set to hot. This is an older motel but very clean. I was very happy with the room. It was very clean. Hotel staff was helpful, polite and friendly. Prices are the best in town!! Grocery store across the street for late night snacks or hot foods to go. This was the third time I've stayed there so obviously I've been happy with the motel. 1) Booked for early check in and never got it although the room was available. 2) woman at front desk was sympathetic and did try to help us but management was the problem. We don't blame her at all. 3) Room was very unclean. There were small hairs on both beds and stains on the sheets. We slept with our shoes on it was so bad. 4) Bathroom was ok. I'm sorry but we're not satiesfied with our recent stay because we were booked at smoking room without our knowledge and when my husband was trying to change it to non-smoking they were not able to give us anything or at least try to find us as soon as possible. Hotel was adequate, nice staff. My non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke and so did all of my clothes when I got home, even the ones I never unpacked. Other that that, I'd recommend staying here.

Super 8 in New Castle PA the toilet seat was falling off, and could only flush toilet by lifting lid off the tank and move handle. Bath tub dripped water all night. Bed was so old i thought the mattress was dry rotted and beat. Very uncomfortable. Lamp shade was cracked and pieces missing. Thank god we only stayed one night.

I can't recommend this hotel. I wanted something close to McConnell's Mill State Park so that's why I picked it. Upon first entering my room, I found numerous dead bugs on the floor. The room smelled moldy but was masked by some super strong deodorizer. I need to wash all my unworn clothes now just to get rid of the smell. The hotel probably was nice […] in its day, but need totally revamped. All the caulking in the bathroom needs redone also. With the dead bugs, deodorizer that burns your nose, and musty smells, I didn't get much sleep. I was up at 5:30 AM and left promptly. I didn't even want to stay a 2nd night. This hotel was old and smelly. The non smoking room smelled like smoke and weed. There was flies in the shower and the furniture was old and looked like it was there for like 20yrs. The mall was so far and not worth the drive. Totally not worth the money per night we were charged.

I suppose this meets the qualifications of a 2-star motel - nothing special, but an ok place to stay. Bed & pillows were a bit uncomfortable, and A/C had a squeak that interrupted sleep. Nice to have a small frig in room, and the breakfast is a nice amenity.

We stayed at Super 8 New Castle at the same time as a large construction crew. It was annoying listening to all their loud beepy trucks (by "beepy" I mean that loud noise that trucks make when backing up). Not only did we hear that at 5am, but we also had to listen to all the workers chatting loudly in the hallways early in the morning. I booked in this hotel due to negative reviews in Super 8 Grove City, but unfortunately we were not happy with everything!! I booked 2 non-smoking rooms (one for me and one for my sister and her family) but they gave me 1 smoking room and stated they were full and it was the last room available (and to think I booked it more than a month before). I […] didn't want to argue, I was tired because it was already 5am and wanted to sleep but when I went to my room, I just couldn't take the smell. When my sister and her family went to their room, SHOCKINGLY, there were people sleeping inside the room! my sister was so scared! The staff gave my sister another room where the door was not working properly. I slept with my sisters' kids, three of us in a double size bed. Our plan was to wake up at 12noon but I just couldn't sleep. We were supposed to stay in the hotel for two nights but we checked out after 5 hours of stay in the hotel. We liked the motel and the room was fine...the continental breakfast was good. They did advertise coffee for 24 hours, but the door to the little breakfast room was closed and we were unable to get coffee before we left at 4:00 a.m. Other than that, we had no problems...we would go back again. The thing that stands out most about our stay here was the amazing service we had. We stayed for two nights and met three different front desk workers, and all of them were super friendly and helpful. Right when you walk into this hotel you smell the stench that resonates throughout. Make sure you get a room on the first floor because there is no elevator so if you're on the 3rd floor have fun lugging your suitcases up 2 flights of stairs! Also, if the maids don't clean your room first thing in the morning you can expect a dirty room for the rest […] of your stay (even if you leave the sign on the door saying you'd like your room to be cleaned).
