The pool was freezing.. showing up being asked to pay more money was also a let down. The room smelled as if someone had smoked a carton of cigarettes and I was told that was a non smoking room enjoy the night.

My stay was very comfortable and close to what I was doing at that time and I will be back 1/18/13 - 1/21/13, because it's convenient to my interest and a nice place to stay.

We were only there for 1 night, so this hotel met our needs. There was a suitable breakfast to get us going, there was an in-room fridge, which is always nice! The beds and pillows were not the best, but for a short stay, it wasn't a big deal for us. Went in room to find pillow with no pillowcase, hole with stuffing coming out and blood stains on it. Gross! Bedding in terrible shape. Selection for breakfast items was not very good. Indoor pool is very small.

I was between paying $180 + a night for a clean beach front hotel or staying inland for cheaper and parking in a public parking place at the beach. I'm glad I choose this hotel. They had toliet trouble and kept blaming our kids for what was going on. It was not there fault, they never fixed the toliet and did not change our rooms nor give any discount for future visits. Overall it was a good location and if the toliet would have been operatable it would have been great.

Our stay was excellent. Room was nice location great. The only issue we had was the lady who checked us in was very unfriendly and couldn't explain a 4.96 charge. Other than that our stay was great.

The room smelled musty, rug was tacky. Neighbors were noisy all evening then woke us up at 4AM banging their door. One day the staff didn't clean our room. I called the front desk, they said that the staff that cleans had left. I told them we needed towels, the beds changed and general cleaning. They came to the door and handed us sheets and towels! […] We were expected to make our own beds! Two of the staff at the front desk were very pleasant ( a long haired blond and a gentleman). Very friendly staff, great location in N. Myrtle Beach. Hotel was clean, well maintained, fresh coat of paint everywhere. Good continental breakfast in lobby. I would stay here again.

The stay was nice but the hot tub was not heated and I really needed it with a sore neck and back! Why have and or advertise a jacuzzi/hot tub if it is not being heated? Pool was very nice and warm!

It was a very good relaxing stay for me and my family everything was close by the beach the shoping center and food resturants and the local gyms. We were please with our stay and would recommend to our freinds to stay at a super 8 motel any time.

Breakfast was ok waffles, toast, donuts, cake, fruit, offece and juice. Room was very clean and has been updated. They were working on the outside while we were there painting and scrapping. Very well kept. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

i rented this particular hotel because it offered a indoor pool and jacuzzi. well the jucuzzi did not work at all .. for the first 2 days of my stay the pool was not heated so not able to use it.. but because of the lady at the desk named lulu. night concierge .. she got the pool to be fixed and my last 2 days were enjoyable she is a excellent employee […] warm and friendly and because of her kindness and damage control i stayed the remainder of my time.. so 5 stars for her..otherwise i would have checked out.. I was completely unsatisfied with my room. It was suppose to be anon smoking room and it smelled like stale smoke along with a musty smell. It was not clean either. I was suppose to be staying two nights and ended up staying only one and lost my money on the second night.

Quiet area of North Myrtle Beach. Not an ideal location if you want to be close to the beach. Not within walking distance, but you can drive to a public beach access area in about 5-10 minutes. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cleaning services daily and the room always looked nice. Parking was right outside my first floor room which was good when loading […] and unloading the car. I would like to have used the spa, but it was not working while I was there. The pool was clean and the water temperature was comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to others if passing through the area or if you do not like rooming right in the beach area. Läs mer

When we arrived for check in the clerk charged another $1.12 for some kind of fee Hotels.com doesn't pay. Then issued a room for 2nd floor - I advised we had to have a 1st floor room, my husband is handicap & it had to be non-smoking bcuz all 3 of us are highly allergic to cigarette smoke. The clerk state the 1st floor room request is only a request […] & not a guarantee....I asked how my husband was to get in the room when he could not climb the stairs...She gave us the last 1st floor room but we had to wait for the room to be cleaned and made up. when we got back for the night, there was still trash on the floor, no bags in the trash cans, the little coffee pot still had molded coffee insert in it, the lid for the water resorvoir is missing and the hair dryer doesnt work. the bath tub walls coverings are lifting up and there is visible mold between the wall and wall covering. The room did not smell of cigarettes, but the mattresses were worn out and the pillows were flat. The remote for the TV did not work properly. Could not angle the a/c vent up so that it was not blowing directly on the bed - the person that slept on the side of the bed nearest the a/c FROZE all night just so the remainder of the room could stay cool. My boyfriend and I took a weekend to relax at the beach. We chose the king sized bed with a jacuzzi suite, and we loved it. The room was nice; the bed was clean, and the staff was friendly. Although this hotel is not ocean front, it is well worth the money, especially if you are looking for a quick cheep stay away from the crowds.

We were very displeased with our stay. The reason we chose this location is because of what we thought was the indoor heated pool. I called 4 days before our stay to ask the tempurature of their pool. I was told that it was down now, but it would be up by the weekend, and it was warm. Upon arrival, we suit up and find the water to be cold. We proceed […] to the spa, and it's almost as warm as the pool should be. We inquire, and are told that the heat pump is out but someone is coming to look at it and it'll be ready by that evening. Not true at all. The next morning, the desk person didn't know anything about it being out of order, and there was no note about any work being done. He proceeds to tell us that the pool was not heated, that it was designed in the room with the glass so that the upcoming sun could heat it. He liked it cool. And to save or economize, they did not keep the spa warm all the time. But when we wanted to use it or come back, to let them know about an hour in advance and they would heat it up for us. All in all it was a good place to stay. Very close to the ocean without being ocean front. Room was a little much for just one night but we booked it only 2 days in advance for just one saturday night and it was right off 17. Located within walking distance of an Applebee's and Outback.
