Hotell Holiday Inn Frankfurt Airport-North - Frankfurt

För en övernattning eller två är hotellet perfekt, ligger väldigt nära flygplatsen. För längre vistelser kanske man vill söka sig närmare stan.

We expected a typical 2 double bed room to accommodate a family of 3 (and I think pictures showed such a room), however we received 1 double and an auxiliary bed, but the hotel stated that this is how they accommodate 3 people. The hotel was just so so, not great but not bad. The one big beef I had was the overpriced internet for 24 hours of access. I refused to pay it and will look for a different hotel next time I am at the Frankfurt Airport. Also they get you for parking your car overnight. The lot was huge and finding a spot was easy, can’t understand why the charge??

Great location and good service, but not devoid of Alffendi some observations about the existence of insects. Also small rooms

The stay at this hotel was chosen because of its close proximity to the airport. It was very hot outside and the air conditioning was not keeping up with the heat outside. The room was clean but the bathrooms could use a bit of fixing up. The best part was the beer garden and sitting outside for the evening and relaxing before the trip home.

be aware that it is fairly isolated. There are no restaurants within comfortable walking distance. So unless you have a car you are stuck with the hotel food. When we were there that amounted to an over priced buffet and a bar that did not open as advertised. Happily we had a car and went into the nearby town for some fine German and Thai food. Very clean, modern, quıet, frıendly staff, perfect for overnıght stay. Shuttle every half hour or call free from the area for all shuttles. Also you can take the shuttle to aırport for eatıng purposes and come back to your room. Good luck.

A little outside of city in the forest. LOvely setting. Not near shops so need to take taxi to town. Friendly and helpful staff.

Location was perfect, staff was extremely accomodating with information. My disappointment was that "AIR CONDITIONING" was running, so I assumed it was on and working - NOPE, the room was too warm, the window wouldn't open and after I told the front desk they came up and opened the window which quickly cooled the room. Disappointed with getting charged for internet access, with the cost of the rooms and the need to be electronically connected - makes this fee goofy. Shuttle bus and proximity to airport was convenient when arriving in and departing Frankfurt. However the hotel is a long way from the city and you are dependent on returning to the airport to catch the U Bahn unless you pay for a taxi. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Hotels and Holiday Inn Express hotels and this was the poorest I have experienced. Needs to be refurbished. Showers in the tub are almost impossible for a short legged person to use. Even my long legged husband had a difficult time getting in and out of the tub. We did an overnight layover in Frankfurt. We had previously stayed at the Sheraton attached to the airport, and this time wanted to find a hotel with some green space for our son to play. (Airport Sheraton = 100% concrete) We spent less than at the Sheraton, plus we got breakfast AND a green space for our son. The Holiday Inn Airport North shuttle […] runs every half hour and is free both ways. It's a 15 minute ride one-way. Rooms are surprisingly tiny for a hotel so far outside the city - our 'superior' room was barely adequate for the small plastic crib they supplied for our toddler son. We couldn't walk past each other without one of us sitting on the bed to allow the other past. In a similar vein, the door to the bathroom doesn't open all the way due to the toilet being in the way... Breakfast is good - good variety and fresh too. The one real downer was the weak climate control. It was 90 degrees outside at 6pm, and about 85 inside until close to midnight. The hotel made no apologies, citing the heat as a consequence of summer. When pressed, they provided a small fan which helped some. Final verdict - It's a slightly better value than the Sheraton as long as it's not summer, but I'm not sure we'll bother to go back. We ended our stay in Germany here on the night before we flew out. It is located close to the airport and convenient for transfer.

Hotel is very close to the airport with friendly english speaking staff and clean rooms. We travelled from Frankfurt to Zurich and Paris so we left our excess luggage at the hotel to pick up once we come back to fly from Frankfurt. The hotel does charge you extra per night if you park at the premises and for the 24 hours internet service as ther is […] no WIFI available in the hotel: If you have a rental car do not try to go to main city areas as finding a parking will be nightmare.If you have to use the car do not waste your time looking for parking, find a public parking and park your car. Some public parking places do not print cards but give plastic coins at the entrance so dont loose them.If you ploan to use your credit card in Europe do let your credit company know in advance or they may block your card. This is as typical a Holiday Inn as you will ever find. It is all plastic, unwelcoming and cold. Every effort is made to nickle and dime you to make more money. It is situated a couple of miles from the center of the city in a park with nothing else around it. We finally found a great hotel for the money that is close the airport. We have stayed in a competing cost hotel and a high cost hotel close to the airport and neither come close to the value of the Holiday Inn. The hotel is tucked into a wooded area and gives nice privacy. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. You are restricted to their […] restaurants unless you have transportation and the meal selection looked pretty normal fare. The rooms we had were well appointed and clean in appearance. The size of the room was very adequate and quite normal for Germany where things seem to be a bit more crowded. When we travel to Frankfurt we always go to a hotel immediately after arriving to sleep before we drive. We were able to check in early and the room was quite and dark so we were able to sleep during the day with no problem. Overall, very satisfied with this hotel and we will make this our regular stop when we arrive and leave Germany. The hotel is very dated, nothing special. Good for over-night stay before morning flight out of Frankfurt Airport.

Very Comfortable rooms. The staff were helpful and courteous, considering the location. The restaurant needs more choice of food for the kids (like simple grilled cheese, mac & cheese), but the tortellini was excellent. A gift store in the hotel with meds, etc would be useful. Kids missed a pool or a hot tub.

I think that the hotel is very good located in the middle of the forest. It was very peaceful but it is far from the city. I think the quality of the facilities are great. Overall i would give it a four star hotel.

Stayed 1 night. Good Hotel, Helpful Staff. The hotel and rooms are clearly on the older side. Everything was very clean, just probably close to 15 years since the last remodeling was completed. Not fancy, but it was fine for my 1 night stay and the cost.

An expensive taxi ride from the airport if the shuttle is hard to locate or time is late but handy to return by free shuttle. Not a 5 star hotel but very good with excellent maintenance, quiet, very helpful, with friendly staff. Arrived late, starving from a train ride from budapest,after the restaurant was closed. Asked about food from the waiter at […] the bar and were served a hot, delicious cheeseburger and fries with a half pint of dark draft beer at a very reasonable price but a friendly waiter! Bom hotel, apenas longe do centro e distante do acesso ao transporte público. Precisa ir de carro e procurar estacionamento, o que não é muito fácil e nem barato de uma forma geral na Alemanha. Para quem vai usar o aeroporto, a localização é ótima e o hotel dispõe de traslado grátis. Boas instalações. Local bastante tranquilo. We've experienced a bad shuttle bus which kept us waiting for 1.5 hours then still go back with taxi. Afterward accompanied us with a very bad attitude from hotel manager. I would advise not go there as there are other good hotels nearby. 爛飯店，shuttle接送服務差、速度慢，且飯店經理完全沒有服務意願，櫃檯人員也都是菜鳥，態度及價格不符。建議盡量避免，附近還有很多好飯店可供選擇。
