The staff was very nice! Good breakfast food! Room was not super clean... bath tub was dirty, blankets were dirty, dishes provided for us in our room needed washed, pool area needed cleaning very badly, and there was hair on a few of our pillows. This was the 6th year we have stayed at this Hotel for Christmas. We had moved away for the area but always come back to spend Christmas with the family, we typically have 4 rooms for our family. It is much better to stay at a nice Hotel rather than family during the holidays.. The Homewood Suites is like home to us for the holidays. The rooms are very […] big and always perfectly clean and comfortable. The family like to meet fo all for breakfast, which is about as close to Mom's house as you can get. On Saturday the water was a little cool when showering, but on Sunday it was freezeing cold. My 8 mo. ols grandbaby it sick now due to a cold bath on Sunday morning

staff is super friendly - great adn diverse breakfast in the morning! Big spacious rooms - comfy beds! :)

I always enjoy staying at Homewood Suites. The rooms are affordable, clean and comfortable. I will definitly stay at this hotel again with my family!

We got a room for a good deal on-line and it was no more expensive than traditional rooms and this room came with a hot breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

The Homewood suites was a surprisingly good value with free weekday dinner and free daily breakfast. A nice pool and gym was a plus. If the location works for you I highly recommend it. We did have a problem with the toilet but it was promptly fixed and a free chocolate bar was left,which thrilled my son!

Excellent! Would not hesitate to stay again. They were ready for us with a check in that took less than 5 minutes. Our room was easy to get to, super clean and large for the price we paid. Breakfast Sunday AM was fantastic. We were very, very pleased! Thanks for the great stay and the great deal.

Family members from far and wide stayed here for a weekend memorial service nearby. The staff was so lovely in letting us take over the large breakfast dining area in the evenings so we could all socialize with each other. We all had a wonderful, memorable weekend because of it. And the rooms were lovely.

For those who are not sensitive to air quality, this is the hotel for you. For those of you who have children with asthma, this is definitely not the hotel for you. We actually were supposed to stay three nights, and on the evening of the third night we decided we needed to leave due to a few factors. First, the room was rather dusty. It was clean […] and orderly, however dust is not good if you are sensitive to air quality. Second, the room's central air had an odor to it that further decreased the overall air quality in the room. These two conditions created a frightening problem with my two year old daughter. We were forced to stay for two nights due to a job interview I had on the second day of our stay, however on the day of my interview, my daughter began refusing food and any liquids. Her asthma became almost uncontrollable, and my wife and I were scared we would have to admit her to a hospital. Since we were from NY and staying in a hotel in Michigan, we hated this thought. We made the decision to leave early, and as soon as we left the hotel, my daughter's condition improved. She began letting us feed her and drinking from her sippies, albeit in small amounts. Also, she began having less asthma attacks as we made our travel back home. I feel that without our children there, we would not have had any issues with the hotel. However, this was not the case since we traveled as a family. The atmosphere is not suitable for anyone with sensibility to air quality issues, and I would seriously consider a different hotel if I knew about this issue when I made our reservations. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was to be expected for a continental breakfast. Parking was trustworthy for those wanting to keep their vehicles in nice shape. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful particularly the front desk young woman who took time to print and discuss maps of the area with me. Room was lovely and bed very comfortable. The hotel is tucked away and difficult to find if you are new to town but worth the hunt because it is close to Birmingham and Somerset Mall in Troy.

This hotel offered friendly, helpful staff and clean, spacious rooms. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent staff, clean room. Decent restaurants right around the corner, and all for a great price! I would stay here again and suggest to anyone! But, if you're taking a cab anywhere in the surrounding area, be sure to allow for a 1/2 hour wait.

We were very happy with our hotel stay. The room was VERY nice. The pool area had a lot of hair on the floor which was gross to me. Also, the front desk person told me the money for possible damages that was taken off my credit card would be back on it in 1 to 2 days, but it wasn't. I did call the hotel, and they said I was miss informed; It takes 3-5 […] days. They did say "sorry". Overall, very happy with the room and stay!!!! Läs mer

I received a very good rate for the two nights very pleased

Great room, central to the locations important to us as a previous Troy, MI resident. Pool and workout room were roomy and clean. Room walls a bit thin, but not too bad after hours.

I got a great value on this hotel; the hotel was very spacious, the rooms were beautiful, and I feel I got a great value for my money. My only complaint is that the beds were a little hard for my taste; might be great for others, but I like softer beds. The linens and pillows were very nice, though.

This hotel has nice sized rooms and very comfortable beds. The price includes free wifi, breakfast 7 days a week and even a limited dinner M-T! It is well situated for business (automotive related), as well as near Birmingham, large shopping malls, etc. The clientele were a mix of business people and families while I was there (6 days). I left several thousands of dollars worth of jewelry in the hotel when I checked out. Justin, on staff found them and returned them. I couldn't believe it. They were very professional. thank you very much.

Very posh. Slept wonderfully. Loved the privacy between the sleeping quarters and the rest of the suite. Breakfast was good. Will stay here again.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the condition of our room, the friendliness of the staff and the convenient location. The price was great for all that was included. Our 2 young sons loved the pool. The included breakfast was way beyond 'continental' - just outstanding. We would definitely stay there again.
