My stay at Super 8 in Strougsburg was pleasant. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and attentive upon my arrival. The location was easy to get to from the main highway. "Basic Hotel"
The Hotel is a basic no frills hotel. Budget friendly and around the corner from I-80. Close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are OK. Nothing special.

Hotel is very close to Shawnee mountain and great restaurants. Hotel is clean & quiet. Stayed here once a year for the past three years and never had any problems/concerns. Hotel is as expected for a Super 8 but highly recommended for a cheap price!

This hotel was clean and convenient. I would recommend the hotel right next door though, we spent the next night there and it was a little more expensive but muchhhhhh better.

We've stay here every fall for the past 13 years. Customer service has always been good. This year we were put into a smoking room and the desk clerk kindly put us in a non-smoking room (which is what we wanted). Location is good, close to area attractions & restaurants.

rooms were very clean when you get there BUT this hotel does not clean your room or make beds while you stay there you have to go to the desk and request clean towels and trash bags,make your own bed also would not patch a phone call thru to my room from my family back home not my kind place

My husband and I spent the night at the Super 8. For the price I was a little nervous about what we were getting for the price ( which was the lowest). All was fine, room was clean, perfect for our over night stay. "Smelly"
I accepted to change my room but the new one they gave smelled cigarrete everywhere. When I went back home all my clothes got this odor.

I know this is a budget hotel, but the carpet on the stairs to the second floor was worn and filthy. The carpet in my room was better, but still had some unpleasant spots. For an overnight stay, the room was comfortable and clean. Heater worked good for the cold winter night.

"Super 8 Stroudsburg - lacking"
Never like to whine but there were several shortcomings to this hotel. *heater didn't work but made some very annoying and distracting noises. had to just unplug it. *very very few outlets. had to unplug lamps in order to get the necessary charging space [and we only needed 3 total] *small and uncomfortable bed with only two pillows for two people *back […] entrance outside door did not lock...not a big deal but anyone could walk in at any time based on other reviews it seemed like a fairly nice place...but alas, did not quite get the bargain we expected. still, all issues weren't big problems just annoyances. We checked in for a weekend trip to the mountains. The hotel breakfast, although limited variety, offered enough to get the day started.
