Hotellet var mycket bra för dom sakerna vi skulle göra. När vi frågade om någonting så var det alltid någon som fixade det på sekunden. Alla som jobbade på hotellet brydde sig verkligen om att vi skulle ha en trevlig tid i Glasgow. Det var meningen att vi skulle gå på George Michels konsert, men den blev ju inställd. Vi var själva så inställda på att […] resa bort för vi hade jobbat så mycket hela hösten så vi åkte på vinst och förlust bara för att ha en trevlig tid ändå och det blev verkligen en upplevelse för livet. Nu har vi fått höra att han tänker ge en konsert senare i vår så då får vi åka tillbaka till Glasgow och se honom då istället. Vi ser redan fram emot att få åka tillbaka. Läs mer

Allt helt OK men saknade det där lilla extra man förväntar sig av ett lyxhotell. "Poolen" var lite falsk marknadsföring eftersom den hörde till ett gym som låg vägg i vägg med hotellet så man fick inte gå ned i morgonrock utan var tvungen att klä sig i ytterkläder för att gå dit. Jag reste med två barn och vi fick ett "familjeomklädningsrum" som var […] riktigt äckligt - en handikapptoalett. De var rätt snorkiga på det där gymmet också, man kände lite som att man fick be om ursäkt för att man kom dit. Städpersonalen var jättebra. Läs mer

Ett fint hotell med mycket trevlig och tjänstvillig personal. En fin lobbybar med härliga fåtöjer. Man har gångavstånd till det mesta, dock ligger hotellet i lite sjabbiga kvarter nära Centralstationen.

Precis vid Centralstation, shopping, nattliv eller business. Snyggt, modernt och fräscht hotell.

The long and short of it is after a manic day of meetings I left my wallet by mistake in the ladies toliet in the hotel. I realise 20 minutes into my journey to the airport. On calling the hotel the concierge then proceeded to drive my wallet to the airport so to save me 1. missing my flight and 2. having to pay triple the amount to come and retrieve […] it in person. This is a lovely hotel with top notch staff. If could give the concierge a medal I would!! If you stay at this hotel and spot an indian gentleman on duty at the concierge desk give him a massive hug from me. Läs mer

Great location to explore city on foot, everything is walkable. Hotel v.comfortable and staff helpful. Room quiet and clean. Nice large bathroom.

On a positive note - basic, clean, quiet room with better than average toiletries and excellent black out curtains. Uncomfortable bed, poor quality pillows and duvet. Could see through the sheet to the striped mattress below and sheet barely covered the bed!

The first room we were given was like a dungeon very dark when we complained we were given another room which was much brighter .the standard rooms in this hotel are very small with very little room to store clothes eg underwear sweaters etc as there were no drawer space staff very friendly

The Radisson Blu Glasgow is conveniently located in the city center - an easy walk from Queen Street Station, Glasgow Central across the street, and the Argyll underground stop just a few blocks away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby, and the area surrounding the hotel is nice enough. Hotel service was excellent - good drinks at the hotel […] bar, good recommendations for nearby restaurants, and a nice breakfast with plenty of options (although a bit pricey). Very pleased with our room, and quite satisfied with the price/value. We would definitely stay here again. Läs mer

Didnt spend much time in the hotel or my room due to work commitments. The room was to a good standard. The bed was a good size but with a hard matress and very uncomfortable, I didnt really sleep for 3 nights. I was dissapointed not to see a bath, but the shower booth was a good size, however for a renound hotel chain like this I expected a power shower […] not a trickle so not please at all ! Being an English Gent, I didnt see the point in complaining as my stay was very short. Läs mer

I booked the Radisson as a treat for a big birthday celebration. On arrival after a very long day we arrived to the hotel at midnight greeted by a warm and friendly gentleman on reception. we checked into our room and found the room spacious, clean and had a bottle of water and snacks waiting for us, a lovely touch. we then went to park the car and […] had directions from the man on reception, because of one way streets and the time we were trying to park it took us a long time to find either of the very close car parks recommended by the staff member. Perhaps a small map available on check in would be helpful. The hotel is very central and easy to find, close to the busy shopping area. Between argyle st and the hotel is central station under a bridge and this area feels a little unsafe, like many city centres. we didnt eat in the hotel as we had other places booked but the bar and lobby have a lovely atmosphere. any staff member i met whether in the bar, at the door, on reception or cleaning the rooms were warm, professional and friendly. The other person who travelled with me also used the spa for a neck, shoulder and back massage and found the service one of the better that shes had and the staff very professional. I didn't want to leave this hotel and will be back to stay on my next visit to Glasgow. Läs mer

Hotel was situated in the centre of glasgow and is near most lively places for day and night. Wouldnt use hotels valet service as NCP car park at the left of the hotel which is discounted at reception when departing. Room was very clean and spacious would recommend to anyone who is staying in glasgow in the future.

We chose hotel for it's locality to city centre and it was perfect for sight-seeing. We decided to book accommodation only and this fit in great with our plans for sampling a few restaurants and we were not harrassed with any high sales pitch so left alone to enjoy our stay at the hotel. Hotel was very high standard and we'd stay again

Good clean hotel with excellently located in the centre of glasgow although probable not the best hotel to drive to. The staff were excellent, efficient and friendly. Impressed by a generous check out time too. Definetly recommend the Radisson for a central and stylish stay in Glasgow.

hotel was lovely, but felt room lacked electrical sockets for kettle and hairdrier supplied as leads did not reach socket under dressing table.

Had a wonderful overnight stay in the Radisson Blu in Glasgow. Superb hotel with first class customer service. Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Will definitely be back.

Would recommend this hotel but not the rooms on the left of the hotel. if you go on a weekend do not stay on left handside. club goes on till 3.30am! and you hear every beat

Nice big rooms , good service and lovely bar area , close to my favourite shopping area!

excellent hotel! great location if you're catching the train into Central Station as it's just across the road. just a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. All very clean and nicely presented with very pleasant staff. I have marked it down slightly on service for two reasons: firstly due to the queue at check in with only one person on the desk […] and, also, I had emailed ahead and asked them to provide a birthday cake as a suprise for my partners birthday however when we checked in the cake was not in the room - it was delivered 10 mins later still in the marks & spencers box and handed direct to my confused partner. i just thought it would have been nice had it been presented a bit better (ie maybe with a knife, plate and napkins which would have helped!! or even placed in the room before hand) but I know I'm maybe being a bit picky here. everything else was spot on Läs mer

Cannot complain about anything except the window washer who decided to clean at 5:48am. Still do not understand it.

Radisson Blu Glasgow was fabulous!! Close to everything, room was very comfortable, and staff was very courteous.

The hotel is situated right next to the main train station and all the shopping and historical sights. Everything is literally in walking distance from the hotel. What we liked the most about it however was the high level of proffessionalism and efficiency. The staff are very much in the know and friendly as well. “Wholly Dissappointing” 11 Jul 2011 yngholiday We stayed here as a couple, for one night as a late booking so got the room at a decent price however I wished now we had booked one of the cheaper options. As a couple that travel a lot around the UK, I'm not sure how this can be classed as a 5* as we found it a much poorer experience than experienced […] in many 4* and 3* hotels we've stayed in before. On arrival we were told the lesiure club closes at 5pm at the weekend!! (this was at 4pm) which was a disappointment when we had specifically searched for a hotel with a pool so we could relax in the afternoon. I booked a King room only to find 2 single beds with single duvets on and pushed together... very romantic! But the worst part about the room was the lack of a carpet! I'm all for modern and minimalist, but the pine furniture was cheap and the 'wooden' floor was cold and didn't really add to the homely feel. Worst part was the bathroom though, poor excuse for a shower that a) didn't get hot once when we were there, and b) twisted itself round to face the wall, so you had to hold it in place to even get wet! Other minor points to be aware of... the internet connection on wifi is painfully slow. Also be aware that the hotel isn't in the best area, there were a lot of drunken and noisy people hanging around outside the hotel at night. BUT I can put up with small things like that and not be disappointed, but a hotel with small unfcomfortable beds, cold shower and closed leisure facilities certainly wont welcome me back in hurry! The Radisson Blu Hotel was excellant. The location just opposite Glasgow Central Railway Station was very convenient and also to get to Hampden Park (which was our destination for a concert) via the Station was extremely easy for us. the shops and restaurants close by were also extemely convenient for us too. We found the restaurants reasonably priced […] but the hotel restaurant was very comfortable with efficient service despite being very busy on the Saturday evening. Läs mer

Rooms are stylish and comfortable. Our conference went really smoothly. Catering was a little dull. Lobby bar was fun in the evening and the Hendricks martinis are awesome.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend 28/05/11. Absolutely dosstastic. From the friendliness of the staff to the quality of the rooms. This hotel could not be faulted. Did not manage to eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast the following morning, however, if the standard of service and quality of food at breakfast is carried over to lunch and dinner, […] then i would not hesitate in recommending you dine at the hotel. Stayed in the Radisson Blu Glasgow over the Easter week-end the hotel is nice & modern, didn't eat a single meal there as it's overpriced and breakfast wasn't included. The hotel has use of a swimming pool of an attached gym which wasn't very nice and only had a sauna which was cold after my swim on saturday morning. The other complaint I would have […] is that the bed in our room had an extremely hard mattress which I found diffculty in sleeping on. On the positive it's well located in the city and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Läs mer

my boyfriend and i stayed here while we were going to the secc. The location was great, car parking is ok as you get a discount when staying at the hotel. Our room was nice, small tv. Was not impressed with the glass around the sink in the bathroom it looked quite grubby, im sure it was a 5star a few years ago, but I have stayed in much better 5star […] hotels. Wouldnt have been happy if Id have paid full price, but got it cheaper by booking in advance. we enjoyed the massive shower and the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Läs mer
