Hotell Alliance Inn & Suites - St. Robert

The housekeeper did everything except vacuum the carpet. It was already after 10pm when I returned to the room and it to late to vacuum.

It's not horrible but definately not the best. No real amenities. No pool etc. The only good thing I can say is it's very close to the gate of Ft Leonard Wood

The hotel changed their name and didnt inform anyone. The rooms were cheapier if I bought them through the hotel. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable, but some of the refridegators didnt work. I couldn't tell the employee from a regular person, because for some strange reason they dont wear uniforms. I dont like that!

the hotel was clean, and quite. It was close to everything i needed.

The first morning of my stay, I had the DND sign on the door until 9 AM. Housekeeping was one door down. When I left at 9 AM, I hung the sign inside. I came back that night and my room was never touched. No clean towels, bed wasn't made...Nothing. I inquired about it at the front desk. She said they were really busy and must have forgot to come back […] to the room to clean. Also the first night I got a milk from their store in the lobby. The milk had chunks in it. Was gross. for the price of the room, it would have nice to have a small bottle of shampoo in the bathroom. room had strange smell and was stuffy. could hear all the noise from hallways thru the night. over all, it was an ok hotel.

The only complaint I really had is that I asked for a ground floor room and a non-smoking room. I got neither. They put me on the 3rd floor in a smoking room which smelled of smoke. Other wise the staff was very nice, and the room was clean. this hotel was renamed we had to stop and ask directions to find it room was small and cramped even for just my husband and i. shower took 10-15 minutes to get any hot water when inquired at the desk about the issue we were told that the water had a long way to travel and there was nothing they could do. We needed an affordable hotel and one close to Ft. Leonard Wood for our daughter's boot camp graduation. Be aware that the Microtel has been renamed "Alliance". Same hotel look and owners. Rooms are very small and they don't have a swimming pool. However the price was great and the desk receptionist was very helpful. The hotel was renamed Alliance Inn which threw me off as I had a hard time finding it without the familiar Microtel sign. The room appeared clean enough and didn't feel grimy although the paint job was horribly touched up. I could easily hear my neighbors talking and using the bathroom(sound of flush, sink, shower). the hotel was easy to find the first time, but then they changed signs and hotel name before we could return, so it was a good thing we found it first. the room looked wonderful, had a couch, sink, fridge, all separated from the bed with a counter between. it was definitely worth more than we paid. we were impressed, the only thing was the breakfast […] was small, all the hot food was gone before we got there, and it was still early. the floor was sticky from juice spills. overall it was a very nice stay, was easy to get to the army base. I had read previous reviews stating that this hotel was a good value for what it provided, so I booked it. The staff were very friendly at the front desk, but our bathroom had poop smeared on the floor in about 4 places. After using the coffee maker, we noticed that it hadn't been cleaned prior to our visit, either. I must say, based on prior reviews, I was a bit unsure of what to expect when I booked this room for my son and myself. We wanted to be close to Fort Leonard Wood for my best friends graduation and it was perfect. Easy to find, safe area, friendly staff, convenient layout, computer in the lobby with internet access.mini fridge, sink and microwave came […] in handy, bed was very comfy! That having been said, Only thing I would improve is the breakfast... once a week ( fyi-Thursdays) they serve pancakes, waffles, "omlette type"eggs but all were cold and not appetizing in apperance or quality ... my son, a football player, used to school cafeteria food, didnt eat but a bite or two. the other days they serve blueberry muffins, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, coffee, oj, hot choc... perhaps improving the quality of the existing items along with adding some healthy menu items would be nice... It seems like this would be an easy area to improve upon to make the stay an overall great experience..***.Restaurant choices in the area are VERY LIMITED @ BEST, BUT... Okay visit- we arrived late and couldn't get in the building to check in, no matter how hard we knocked. Room was small and dated but clean enough. Microtel doesn't provide shampoo.

I stayed at this hotel because it had good reviews. The room was so warm, the air did not work properly so I had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed just to get air. Teh toilet seat was cracked and half broken. The TV was shoved on top of a slanted armoire and looked like it would fall at any minute. Also, right next door to a noisy restaraunt […] and 3 businesses away from a club. Location was convenient. The service was good. There was no blowdryer in the room so I called down and they had one for me to use and they charged me less than the rate was advertised as. All in all, I wouldn't stay there again. Läs mer

First of all the we were put into a room for a Handicapped person on the third floor of this hotel, the bathroom was not clean, there were blood droplets on the floor, not one time during our stay, housekeeping EVER use any kind of disinfectant to clean the sink, toilet or shower. The room was swept one time our whole stay. You have to ask for shampoo,lotion, […] extra soap and hairdryer. Iron and ironing board. All of which should be included in the room. Läs mer

fist the bathroom flooor extremly dirty and pubic hair every were! if someone was using the toliet, shower or the fan in the next room and up stairs you heard it all night long, the bed springs was busted and made noises to also wake you. the rooms are extremly small, could have stayed in the days in for same price. the staff was no as friendly as you […] expect a staff would be, except the daughter of a staff member she was extremly friendly and could help you in your needs and directions (they should hire her) and i watch the night girl put out the cont. breakfast and coughing all over the food without covering her mouth. i would NOT recomend this hotel except as the last place i would stay. ton of hotels in and around (about 10 miles) trhe base, check them out first Läs mer

We went for our son's BCT graduation. We stayed from 9/14/10 to 9/16/10. My wife checked the room out very carefully, she is very fussy about where she sleeps. She was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and neatness of the room. Mind you this motel is near an army base so it is sparton, but very nicely appointed as in the pictures they show. I […] was also surprised that they had a mini gym and one computer for those who need to keep in touch. They bathroom was used, but very clean. The shower curtain was bowed away from the tub so the curtain did not stick to you. The facial tissue could have been a better quality but the TP was soft. Kitchen was available for breakfast. They offered milk, cereal, bagels, muffins and toaster, oatmeal, hot coffee and juice. All self service, so you could take as much or little as you want. Employees/Soldiers were VERY nice and HELPFUL. At night the hotel was quiet, sooo quiet. I would stay again without a doubt. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly to our every need. We attended our son's military Graduation and they made us feel very welcomed.

Before our stay, I had to cancel one of the rooms that we reserved and adjust a second room. When we got to the hotel, there was a mix-up with the changes. The clerk that was checking us in was new, but sought help from a seasoned clerk. The mix-up was taken care of quickly and professionally. The staff is very well trained and very helpful. a little hard to find not all rooms have refridgerator in them

Hotel was nice - about what I expected for the money. Room was nice, clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Minor problem with evening parking as the lot is small and the restaurant next door overflows and takes hotel space. Good proximity to Ft. Leonard Wood.

Be aware of the loud soldiers that stay here on the weekend...otherwise a good room for the money.

Everything would have been fine if it hadn't been for the noise, and we couldn't get a non-smoking room. We had to go buy air freshener and spray the room over and over just to be able to bear sleeping in it. Obviously, since it was the weekend of our son's graduation from FLW, there were party-goers up at all hours of the night.
