Hotell Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas, Lake Buena Vista / Orlando - Orlando

Vi fick en lägenhet i området Cascades och lägenheten var helt nyrenoverad och i toppskick. Lägenheten var dessutom riktigt ren. Enda nackdelen med rummet var att det var lyhört in till grannen. Detta då det fanns en dörr mellan lägenheterna. Om man gillar rabatter bör man hämta välkomstpaketet i receptionen och gå med på att gå på frukostmötet för […] att bli informerad om deras timeshareerbjudande. Mötet skulle ta 90 min men vårt var klart efter en timme och vi fick rätt bra rabatter på parkbiljetterna tack vare det (rabatterna får man även om man tackar nej till timeshare). Strax utanför hotellet ligger en större gata som har en hel del restauranger. Tar man en 20 minuters promenad kommer man dessutom till området Crossroads som har ännu fler matställen att erbjuda. Så det finns mycket i närområdet för den som inte har bil. Den enda nackdelen med hotellet var shuttleservicen till parkerna. De avgick mycket sällan (ungefär tre gånger per dag till varje park) och gick inte till alla Disneyparker (om jag minns rätt så var det de två vattenparkerna den inte gick till). De kom inte heller i tid särskilt ofta utan vi fick oftast vänta mellan 7 - 30 minuter på den. 30 minuter hörde dock till ovanligheten. De är dessutom inte heller anpassade till parkernas öppettider, utan första avgången till en viss park kunde vara ex kl 12 och sista avgången hem kunde vara fyra timmar innan parken stängde. Detta innebar att vi ofta tog taxi istället eller använde Disneys egna transporter mellan parkerna. Hotellet erbjuder träningspass i form av ex yoga och coreträning. Men all träning sker dock i poolerna och det finns max ett träningspass per dag och det var beläget någon gång mellan kl 9 - 11. Men överlag var det ett hotell jag varmt kan rekommendera. Läs mer

Toppen läge för barnfamilj. Flera fina pooler med tempererat vatten plus extra varma bubbelpooler. Vi bodde i området Palms, det är helt nyrenoverat. En liten bit att gå men lugnt och fint. Bör inte bo i Fountains eller Lake, för långt bort och den "food court" som fanns där har bara dålig take away mat. Det står att det är free shuttle till tema […] parker och shopping centra men det är bara en tur mitt på dagen till Disney och shuttlen till shopping centrat är till en sämre outlet. Vi hade ingen bil men klarade oss fint med taxi, tror att det blev billigare och vi fick lite motion när vi gick till restauranger utanför området. Läs mer

Mycket trevligt hotell, speciellt för barnfamiljer. Massor med pooler och andra aktiviteter. Flera träningslokaler för vuxna. Trevligt lunchställe med KFC, Pizza Hut m.m. Personalen på hela hotellet är väldigt trevlig. Mataffär mitt emot vilket är bra då man har komplett kök. Bil är bra att ha. Nära till väg 4 som går till flera temaparker.

The room was beautiful!!! Just what we needed for a nice family weekend. My only complaint is that we only stayed one night. Will definitely be staying again!! The location of the hotel was close to everything but still hidden and quiet.

Splendid apartment and grounds, although tea & coffee would have been welcome addition, and cockroach was an unwelcome visitor. Location is not great for Disney unless you have your own transport, as hotel shuttle has very limited schedule and capacity, and doesn't accept luggage. Spent a lot on taxis.

Staying here is like staying in a fairly typical Florida condo complex. There are some nice features (tennis courts, pools), the grounds are meticulously kept and there's (too much?) security. But it's basically all buildings and parking lots, and once you leave the grounds you're on an ugly road with really nowhere to walk. This is probably fine for […] lots of folks, but if you're going to disney every day like we did, it's probably better off to bite the bullet and pay to stay at the swan. Yes, you'll have to eat out more. but transportation to/from the parks takes a while (parking is expensive in disney and the buses, while good, are pretty slow). We found that we didn't spend much time in Sheraton so having a kitchen and a bit more space was not really worth it. Having said this, if you like to simply hang out in/around the complex and you use a car for everything (like I guess most Americans do) you will probably find the place fine. Läs mer

The accommodations were terrific--very clean, modern, and spacious. However, we did experience two problems during our stay (electrical outlet and TV malfunction), but these were resolved very quickly by the courteous staff and maintenance workers. We only stayed 2 nights and spent our time at the parks. However, what we did experience was excellent! The lady that checked me in was kind and accommodating. These condos are spacious, modern and most importantly, clean. We stayed at a Disney resort the first night just to see if we found more value in it and we certainly did not see the value that […] we experienced at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. The room was very nice but could hear way too much noice from the suite above me.

I really enjoyed my stay. Your hotel was very convenient to the venue we needed to be at and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We did have a small issue on Friday, being that our room was never cleaned. The staff had knocked on our door, but we were still in the room, but told them we were leaving shortly. Unfortunately, they never returned to clean […] the room, but it was cleaned the following day. we booked a two-bedroom suite. They were great! Apparently just remodeled. Very clean. Watch out for the time-share sales pitch. It takes an hpur and a half. They tell you that upffront and use every minute of it to sell. Lots to do for the family. Activities at all the poools for kids!

All in all this was a great hotel. The room was very large (we stayed in a two room suite) and very clean. The toilet in one of the bathrooms did not work and even though we reported the problem, no one ever came and fixed it. Great location with in a 5 to 10 minute drive from Disney.

I loved the Sheraton Vistana and would definitely return! All employees were super friendly, patient and informative. The suites are beautiful and spacious, enough to fit a big family comfortably. Great multiple pool options and other fun things to do onsite, like feeding birds/ducks and mini golf. Our group ages ranged from 21-23 and we had three noise complaints within one hour. If you plan on staying up after 11 don't use this hotel. They may be awesome but they don't like young men. They put a surround sound system in our room only to tell us to turn it down after using it for 15 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the layout of our 2 bedroom villa. Very nicely kept, clean, comfortable and close to all major attractions. The lobby host Andrew was very pleasant to deal with and we are just sorry our stay did not allow time to see the vacation presentation, perhaps next visit. The only complaint I have is we only stayed 3 nights! 2 bedroom Villa was great and roomy! I stayed with my wife, 3 kids, and my mother and father in law and space was not a problem. We loved this resort. Lots to do for all ages. Beautiful pools. The condo we had was clean, well maintained and quiet. Can't wait to go back! It is a TIMESHARE. In the week that we were there we had 2 messages on the condo phone inviting us to come hear the presentation. We did not respond or go to the presentation. There was no hassle at all.

The room was spotless and very accommodating. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was great for my husband, kids and the in-laws. The in resort market and pools and shuttles were also very convenient. The market has a lot of conveniences but anything besides junk food can be a bit pricey. 4 bananas were going to cost us almost $4, other fresh fruits were […] also very expensive. As for the check in and check out times, they were very unaccommodating. We arrived from a Disney cruise around 10am and they would not let us check in any time before 4pm. It was a really hot day and we had all our luggage with us. We stayed by the pool and melted and couldn't even use the room to make lunches, we had to buy the "bar" type food at the pool, not very healthy nor were there many choices to pick from. On the other side of our stay, we had a 5:15 flight out and again, they were not very accommodating on the check out. Check out is 10am per their agreement and when asked for a late check out, they extended it to 11:30. Not much help.... On the good notes, the room was a top floor room, it was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. My kids slept on the pull out sofa and were woken up by the sun coming in thru the sunlight in the ceiling so they were a little disturbed by that. We also were surprised that room service cleaned our room since we were in a suite for 4 days. That was nice. One thing that I was annoyed by was the call we received on day 2 of our stay. A very friendly sales person called to say that we had a free breakfast waiting for us if we were interested in sitting thru a 45 minute sales presentation for ownership in the Sheraton properties. She proceeded this with "how was your stay?", "is there anything we can do to make you more comfortable"?, etc. On day #1 we received our $50 packet of vouchers for discounts in the market, the restaurants, mini golf, etc but we misplaced the booklet. Very clean inside and out. Beautiful furniture throughout. Bathroom was small but nice. Great pools with great closing hours.

I stayed here with my three teenage children. There was plenty of space for all in our two bedroom villa. It was clean and well kept. The kids enjoyed the pools; there was one very close and another, larger pool not far from the villa. While it wasn't as close to Universal Studios as some other options, it wasn't a long ride either ... maybe 15 minutes. […] Our only wish was for another eating option on the property. The one "casual eatery" had "special" buffets each weeknight. If you didn't want the buffet you were out of luck. A good option would have been a listing of nearby restaurants. This was our first visit to Orlando as a family. The hotel is located just minutes from Disney, SeaWorld, outlets... The room was great it was like a home away from home and the housekeeping does everything, we always came back to a clean room! I will totally recommend to stay in this hotel. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and the hotel and room was very clean and well maintained. Hotel was minutes from main attractions, shopping and plenty of restaraunts. Will deffinetly stay here next time I visit orlando or any other city I travel to where they have a hotel located in.

We have 4 kids, toddler to teen, and the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas was ideal for us. We did not partake of the restaurants or many activities offered on site, but did use the pools and playground which were nice. The location was central to the many family attractions in Orlando and the hotel was easy to locate. Although I belive the hotel was […] at or close to full capacity during our stay, there was plenly of parking available, the pools weren't overcrowded, and the surroundings and villa were quiet and peaceful. I searched many hotels and read probably hundreds of reviews on hotels before selecting this hotel and am not disappointed with my choice. It was a great value and I would definitely stay here again. We liked the Vistana, especially the location relative to Disney and the restaurants. The pools were nice as well. OUr only complaint was that our room was 1bout 100 yards from I-4 which made for a little noise at night. I would have gladly paid more to stay in a different room but wasn't given that option. I was so surprised at how beautiful the room was I couldn't even walk in the door! I was literally stunned! I have stayed in some of the worlds finest hotels and it is very hard to impress me(I know that sounds bad:/) but I have 2 small kids and wanted something big and close to the parks that was nice. Very good location, comfort & value. However, they push really hard to present their timeshare program to those staying on the property.

I can not imagine anyone giving this hotel anything other than a top rated place. It is clean, loads of things to do on the property, extremely friendly, close to Disney and other attractions like Old Town, and downtown Disney to mention a few. We took it without cleaning service but needed extra towels and they were there in a jiffy and followed up […] with a phone call to see if we needed anything else. It is off the highway, close to loads of restaurants and did i mention great customer service. It has a kitchen so if you are looking for a suite place it is reasonably priced. Läs mer

Very large condo would be comfortable there for two weeks, but only stayed 4 days. Really like the covered balcony overlooking pool. Kids cold easily reach pool from back stairs and enjoy ping pong and arcade games along with fun pool. Will stay here next year if rates stay comparable.

We had our son (43), grandsons (10 & 12), and daughter (44), stay with us for a Disney Vacation. We all enjoyed out stay and would recommend these accomodations to anyone wanting a leisurely environment.
