Hotell Best Western Premier Hotel Cristoforo Colombo - Milano

Bra läge, hotell och frukost. 10-15 min. promenad till Centralstationen. Tunnelbana utanför dörren, nära till hela shopping-centrum. Tyst och lugnt på kvällar och nätter. Rekommenderas. Rummet var i minsta laget, men bra.

Vi var här över nyår, två nätter. Entrén och resturangen och övriga hotellet var jättefint, men måste säga att vi var rätt så besvikena på själva rummet. Vi hade bokat ett "superior-rum", som stod att det skulle vara större än ett vanligt dubbelrum. Men det var verkligen pytte-pyttelitet. Vi anmärkte på detta och fick till svar att alla rum har samma […] storlek (!), det är bara andra möbler. Det var inget som helst extravagant med möblerna, dessutom var det en stenhård säng med hårda kuddar i- så OM man ska bo på det här hotellet är det alltså bäst att boka det billigaste rummet skulle jag säga. Hotellet ligger superbra längs en stor gata med mycket bra shopping för normala plånböcker, samt gott om barer, caféer och restauranger. För den som vill shoppa exklusivt (Dolce & Gabbana, Armani m m) ligger det bara ett par kvarter bort. Tunnelbanan finns direkt utanför hotellentrén och tar dig t ex till Domen, San Siro samt nya mässhallarna i Rho […] utan byten. Hotellrummen är jättefräscha: inga heltäckningsmattor utan snygga trägolv, rent och fräscht i badrummet. Dock kändes en mögellukt i badrummet. Frukosten var helt suverän!! Fanns grovt och vitt bröd, skinka, salami, ost, tomater, frukt - både färsk och konserverad, flingor - både fiberflingor och cornflakes samt müsli. Mjölk, yoghurt, kokta ägg, äggröra, bacon, korv, samt sötsaker såsom brioscher, persikokaka m m. Och riktig cappuccino från köket och inte från någon automat. Det enda jag vill säga något negativt om är parkeringen. Finns ingen parkering på hotellet, men de har avtal med ett parkeringshus i närheten. Det ligger dock 200 m bort, så har man mycket att bära på så är det lite drygt. Men vi kommer definitivt att bo här igen eftersom allt annat är perfekt! Fräscht och centralt. Tunnelbana och shopping på trottoaren utanför entrén. Fritt wifi som fungerade klanderfritt i hela hotellet. Bra frukost och trevlig, serviceinriktad personal som hanterade Engelska. Jag kommer absolut nyttja detta hotellet vid fler tillfällen!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Best Western Premier Hotel Cristoforo Colombo. What we most enjoyed was that we were within walking distance to most attractions in Milano. At the same time we were within walking distance to the Central Train Station and our Bus Transfer to Bergamo Airport. The hotel room was in good condition and clean. Ett väldigt trevligt hotell med perfekt läge mitt i Milano. 10 minuters gångväg från shoppinggatorna och Domen och mitt på Corso Buenos Aires med massor av affärer. Rummen var fina men badrummet var inte renoverat och i ganska dåligt skick. God frukost och trevlig personal.

Jättemysigt hotell centralt beläget nära shopping och transport. Standardrummen är små, men helt okej att bo två personer i. Snyggt klassiskt inrett med mycket detaljer i trä. Frukostbuffén var otroligt god, samt personalen väldigt tillmötesgående i restaurangen. Lagom avstånd att gå in till Duomo, ca 20 min, och de andra shoppingdistrikten. We arrived at the hotel very late because of delayed Tehran flight. The hotel staff had arranged the room perfectly with the view towards Corso Bueons Aires. They even remebered to put a bottle of champagne on ice as I had asked them. The hotel is just a few blocks walking distance to Dolce & Gabbans stores and Via Monte Napoleone wich makes this a […] excellent location for us who love to shop. The breakfast buffet was also good, even if we missed shirini (sweets) to go with the coffe. For young coulples like us we really recommend this hotel. Enjoy Milan! Läs mer

Mycket bra och bekvämt rum. frukosten generös och många olika valmöjligheter. Bra bemötande i receptionen, mycket hjälpsamma. Restaurangen hade bra mat. Mycket prisvärt för standarden och läget i Milano.

Hotellet överträffade våra förväntningar angående service, komfort. Frukostbuffén håller hög klass och bemötande från personalen visar stor proffesionalism. Rekomenderar gärna hotellet för privat eller businessresor.

Korrekt och trevlig personal. Frukostpersonalen var mycket vänliga. Frukosten och renligheten är hotellets stora starka sidor. Mycket bra frukost för att vara Italien. Sköna sängar och väl utrustat rum. Kändes mycket lyxigt.

The hotel has everything that the tourist to Milan can ask for: good location (next to metro, trains, trams), and just a 20 minute walk to the Duomo downtown area. The restaurant offers a generous breakfast buffet and high quality kitchen at dinner time. The staff is friendly. correct and English speaking. Would gladly stay there again.

Bra hotell med bra läge, inte precis i turistkvarteren men inte långt från det man vill se! Bra frukost även om man som svensk saknar lite grövre bröd och ägg som inte kokats i 40 minuter.

Ett klart prisvärt hotell, kan tänka mig att återvända. Rummet o de övriga lokalerna i hotellet var stilfullt inredda och det var rent o fräscht överallt. Frukosten var bra med god service från personalen. Rummet var bra. Bra städning. Sängarna var OK, inte lika hård madrass som vissa europeiska hotell brukar ha. Hotel is located right over a main Metro line and the noice / shakes from that is very clear. We asked to change rooms from the first day and was told that it was too bad the hotel was full so the 4 of us in two rooms had to suffer the first night on first floor. Great hotel, Comfortable, clean modern. Amazing view , has a balcony. Staff are very helpful. Great locaton bathroom spacious, bedroom spacious. Has AC. Wooden Floors. Has the amenities needed. Offers robes aswell.

this hotel was stunning! i had a room on the top floor overlooking the city and my friend had a double room. very spacious and clean rooms. large lifts (strange for italy) that come frequently. delicious gourmet spread for breakfast and staff that speak english. period style hotel with on-site spa facilities. metro station at the front door, fantastic […] shopping all around, walking distance to eat streets and monuments. only negative was no internet access available in the entire hotel as there was a problem. very difficult when needing to do business. Near to train station and very noisy. Squeaky door and nothing was done even after informing the hotel staff. Heater not working. Tap water turned muddy suddenly!!!!! Wonder how they got their four star rating! More a three star!

A wonderful hotel between the railway of Milan and the Dome. Great breakfast and the staff was friendly and helpful. Can definitely recommend this place!

This was a great hotel, conveniently located near the Metro for easy access to all of Milan. Complimentary breakfast was good. Staff spoke English and were very helpful on places to visit, how to get around,etc.. Would stay here again.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. 1. all staff are very friendly and smiley. Always willing to, and actually do help 2. the room was extremly noisy from the street. the old pipes of the hotel are also noisy . when one of the adjacent rooms use the toilet you think there is a bomb attack. there was a bad odor in the bathtub.

Everything about this hotel was very good except the size of the room. We had asked for and paid for a double room. Out of curiosity I asked the hotel staff to show me a single room. This is a nice Hotel with a perfect location. Public transaportation is at the corner and lots of shopping outside. Room was nice, small but perfect. Breakfast was excellent and service was very nice. Front desk needs to improve on service to public a little stuck up, and would not help much. Otherwise I would stay here again.

The hotel was in good condition, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent. They were very accommodating with the dietary restrictions of one of the guests (gluten intolerance). The room was decently-sized, clean and the AC was appreciated in the August heat. The only negative would be the slightly misleading info about the parking […] on this site. In the "Services" are included "Valet parking" and "Parking (secure)", which we believed meant the hotel had its own parking facilities. I would recommend this hotel but the cost was high.

This hotel had an unfriendly staff; poor water pressure, had a big blood stain on our white comforter the first night, hair dryer did not work, air conditioning did not cool the room, and the room was extremely small. They also had a maximum setting on the telvesion volume so you could barely hear the tv. I would never stay at this hotel again. :(

I stayed at this hotel in mid august 2011. I had booked a single room, as I was travelling by myself. I walked to the hotel from the main train station, and it was not a very long walk (20min?), but perhaps a little too long if you have heavy luggage as I did. The door to the hotel can be missed unless you look up to see the letters on the facade, […] so be sure to check where it is on the map. The metro station Porta Venezia is just outside the hotel and perhaps next time I take the metro or a taxi. Upon arrival a bell boy helped me to get my luggage to my room. The room was small, but I was expecting that. There was one bed (maybe 100-110cm wide?), a desk with a chair, a nightstand, and tv. The bathroom was small as well, but again very comfortable for one person. There was little space for the luggage, but the closet fit everything I needed to unpack (and more). All in all the room was very, very clean. If I should try to find something negative about it, it might be the bed, which was not the softest. But to be honest, I felt like a princess in this room. I have stayed in many very nice hotels around the world, and this definitely earns its 4 stars. The breakfast was very good, although perhaps a little low on fresh fruits. For drinking you had different types of coffee (which the staff made in the back, no automat stuff!) and fruit juices. Then there was the usual toast, bread, cereals and croissants and yoghurts. The daily newspapers were available too. There was free wireless internet in the hotel. You ask for a voucher at the front desk, and they print you one. It says it's valid for 24 hrs, but mine worked for 48hrs. When I needed a new one, I went down and asked for another. The connection was fast for surfing. Some pages were not accessible - I noticed this when trying to go to youtube. The location is quite good. This hotel is well located and respectable enough for its price etc. However the rooms are not soundproofed in any way. We had to move rooms twice. The first room was on the first floor at the front of the building and street noise was bad. But more significantly the hotel is over a metro station and the whole room vibrated when a train went past. The […] second room they gave us had only a partition wall to divide it from the next room - we could hear the conversation of the people in the room next door and were unable to sleep. The hotel then commenced maintenance on the room next door at 8am, including drilling into the partition wall. The third room was better, but vibrations from the metro were still audible. We arrived late at night and were given a room on the first floor. Almost immediately we heard a loud rumbling - the noise from a metro train passing below the street. We asked to move to a higher floor. The new room still rumbled but it was less disruptive, however the room did smell of smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The next morning at 8am […] we were woken by cleaners in the next room - the walls were paper thin. We could hear entire conversations clearly. At 8:30am someone started drilling into the paper thin wall between our room and the next. This continued for some time. We enjoyed staying here very much. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very congenial and helpful. This was our first experience in Italy and enjoyed it very much.

First of all, the hotel is really a 4 star hotel - From the service to the best breakfest I had in Italy. Second of all - great location for shopping. On the down side - we got a small room, but it was comfortable and clean (spotless). We got to this hotel in a deal, so maybe if you pay more, you get a better room. Great location, walking distance from all the major sites. Excellent staff, spoke English, gave advice on getting around and other local tips. Small room but wonderful appointments. Enjoyed it. Would definitely stay there again.

Very small room. Nice breakfast. Internet is free, but not convenience to use. Overall, I recommend it.

Breakfast was good and room was well furnished with nice wood floors (so much better than wall-to-wall!). There was a nice view, and the thermostat worked perfectly.
