Ett enkelt litet hotel med utmärkt läge mitt i city. Mitt lilla-(men rena och fräscha)-singelrum låg högst upp i huset och hade fin utsikt mot havet åt ena hållet och mot den berömda Hallgrimskyrkan åt andra hållet! För det billiga priset är jag förvånad över att även frukost ingick. Fil, frukt, några olika sorters bröd och pålägg samt kaffe, te och […] juice. Fullt tillräckligt. Personalen i receptionen hjälpte till att boka utflykter med mera. Inga problem och väldigt vänliga! Jag rekommenderar verkligen detta hotel om du vill bo mitt i city. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotel. Anledningen varför jag har stannat här vid 2 olika tillfällen är framför allt hotellets läge och pris. Fräscha rum, trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Kommer definitivt stanna boka där igen nästa gång jag besöker Reykjavik.

Ett hotell som har ett kanon läge nära både huvudgatan och hamnen utan att störas av utelivet, kanon! Rummen är små men rena och fina, mycket bra. Frukost ingår vilket inte verkar vara så vanligt i Reykjavik, men tanke på detta så tycker vi frukosten var helt ok. Servicen på hotellet var helt fantastiskt! Hotellet ligger centralt med nära till allting. Rummet på första våningen mot gatan var stört av nattklubben på samma gata. Påtalade detta dagen efter inför att vi skulle bo på hotellet igen veckan efter. De lovade att vi skulle få annat rum vilket även uppfylldes. Bra hanterat av personalen utan några ifrågasättanden. Det bästa med hotellet var läget nära shoppinggatan och massor av restauranger med god mat. Kringliggande barer stör på nätterna. Personalen är hjälpsam men ger ett trött intryck. Frukostbuffén var tråkig. Ok hotell.

Litet, trivsamt enkelt och prisvärt turisthotell, nära till turistbyrån och gångavstånd till de flesta sevärd- heter i Reykjavik. Personalen i receptionen hjälp- sam vid bokning av utflykter.

Hotellet låg precis bredvid huvudgatan i Reykjavik. Restauranger, butiker, barer och nattklubbar inom ett stenkast. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Rent och fräscht rum MEN lite trångt och tyvärr på första våningen ut mot gatan. Blir rätt så stökigt på natten när man bor så nära nattklubbarna. Men det var inget stort problem.

Klöpp is in the perfect location, close to the main shopping street, city centre, and harbour. The price included wifi and a very delicious breakfast. There's no hotel parking but street and garage parking is close by and inexpensive. Definitely a great place to stay!

Excellent location relative to downtown and all the sights/shopping. Staff was exceptionally helpful and available at all times. The included breakfast was good. Real juice and not flavored water, as might be the case elsewhere. Overall, an excellent choice for a hotel in Reykjavik.

Overall its a clear & neat hotel, but the quality of the room is rather poor, its tiny and uncomfortable for it price. no complaint on the front desk which is really helpful though. just feel luckily that i was fully planned outside and bearly able to stay in the room.

The hotel is situated about 50 meters from the mainstreet Laugavegu with lots of shops and restaurants. Less than five minutes to walk to the harbour. The location is truly unbeatable. The staff is very helpful and willing to book you different tours, and also taxis and buses. Breakfast is okay, not too many different types of bread in my opinion. This hotel was in a great location in the middle of town. The rooms were simple, but nice and clean as was the rest of the hotel. The only thing lacking was the customer service at the front desk. The attendees weren't particularly helpful when asked questions and seemed a little annoyed when asked how to get somewhere or about tours. If you are not in the market for luxury but interested in spending your money on other things like day tours, book this hotel. The hotel is clean, modern furnished and most importantly, very centrally located. Not that Reykjavik is huge, but CenterHotel Klopp is right off the shopping street and close to most of the restaurants and stores. Therefore, […] hiring a car was not necessary. I had no complaints about the hotel and its amenities as it relates to its star rating. It offered free WiFi, a free standard continental breakfast and a decently sized room (by European standards). We loved the Klopp. The location was close enough to everything, but not noisy at all. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and the vegetarian restaurant a block away was superb.

Good location in downtown Reykjavik Reasonable breakfast very sloppy house keeping

The hotel has a great location, just off the main street in Reykjavik. However, it is just across the street from a bar that has live music and lots of people standing outside smoking. The music kept going until after 23 and we had to sleep with ear plugs. Also, the room's interior was old and part of the curtain was not working. This meant that light […] was let in and since Iceland in the summer is very bright even at night this disturbed our sleeping. Besides that, the hotel has internet in all rooms and wifi in the lobby. Rooms really could use carpet or at least rugs. There were two of us in a room, and even when trying to be quiet, walking around made so much noise if another is sleeping. Beds just ok, and hard to share. Very thin walls too, and almost zero noise insulation between the bathroom and beds. Located in uptown one block off the main strip. The rooms were small by American standards but on par with other european rooms that I've stayed in. The best part of this hotel is the staff. I was very happy with my experience at the center hotel klöpp. For the price, this hotel is a great value; the staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is at a great location just a block from the main strip. Very clean, quiet room on the 5th floor (even at the weekend), in room fridge / mini-bar is comes in handy. Room is in the smaller side and I can see how the lack of shower tub / tray can be annoying for some with water escaping all over the bathroom floor. All the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast options were plentiful, and the room was always clean and quiet. The hotel is located in a great spot, easy walking distance to everything.

My friends and are were very happy with our choice to stay here. The rooms were very clean and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. nice city center hotel a small and friendly, a nice room clean and tidy ,walking distant from the harbour and city center with lots of shops and eating places the staff were very helpful and arranged car hire and trips the hotel also had free wifi i would highly recommend this hotel very good at a fair price.

Very clean, and comfortable hotel. Room was modern and smartly decorated. Rooms were small and not a fantastic view, but this didn't bother us, as the location is fantastic, right next to all the cafes and a stone throw from the main shopping street. Very well located hotel. Very clean, good service, good breakfast, but very small rooms and noise from a cafe across the street playing music into the night.

Great location! We had a room adjacent to the kitchen, so we could hear them in the morning, but were up early anyway. Being that close to the lobby, we could also get wireless in our room. Staff was very nice and organized for assisting with tour and flybus booking.

From the great looking photos on their website, we expected a much nicer space. However, the room was extremely small, there was barely any space to put the luggage. There's no other furniture apart from a small night side table (and not even a safe box in the room). Bathroom was so tiny, no bathtub and only a standup shower next to the toilet, with […] a curtain. It looked very much like a motel room or a youth hostel, than a hotel room. My husband and I were very pleased with the courteous and pleasant manner at the fromt desk. however, we were disappointed with a few things . Our telephone a and internet were not working for half our stay. We had an Itt person who spent several hours in and out of our room trying to fix these problems. I was very tired after a very long hike in the […] morning and was unable to rest sufficently in order to prepare myself for dinner in the evening. I was very tired at dinner and didn't enjoy the evening. Also, we were very disappointed with the breakfast menu. It didn't really reflect an Iceland menu flavour, as I had experienced at my first stop over in Iceland ,at another hotel.For the last reason, I would not choose to stay at your hotel again , but the location was wonderful. We stayed at the hotel from a Monday through Wednesday night. It was typical European - small and clean with a great breakfast which was included - and in the middle of everything we wanted to be close to. The only disadvantage would be if you were there Thursday through Sunday as there is a great bar across the street and many on the surrounding blocks […] which we could see being very noisy on a weekend and from what we understand the surrounding area, being right in the center of town, is very active and loud until very early into the next morning. For us, though, we were close to everything and enjoyed ourselves without suffering the sacrifice of staying the center of the nightlife. Läs mer

Arrived by air. No hotels at airport. You must pay $30 plus to get the nearest hotel in town. Arrival in morning. Hotel let us check in early. Which was appreciated since no sleep for over 24 hours. The room was over 100 degrees. Very hot sun. No air conditioning. Includes breakfast, but you don't get any if your flight is early. Since it appears most […] of the flights out leave in the morning. CentralHotel Klopp in Reykjavik is perfectly located, very nice service and the rooms have all the conveniences you need. We can definitely recommend a stay here.

The hotel is located perfectly in center of town and was a nice and clean place to stay. However most rooms are facing a road with lots of traffic or a bar that is open until 6am - or both. Walls and windows are thin as paper so I ended sleeping no more than 3-4 hrs every night I stayed there. Only reccomended if you are not a light sleeper!

The hotel was very clean, the room was very nice, the staff really helpful and the included breakfast was also pretty good. I would definitely recommend the Hotel and would go there again when I visit Reykjavik in the future.
