Bra hotell med bra service, det enda jag undrade var att det luktade lite om duschvattnet. Lite som en insjö som är full av mudd, inte den fräsaste lukten. Du hade jag vart på en inneklimat möte under 5 dagar och varje morgon mötes jag av den lukten i duschen. Kan ha varit det bästa hotellet jag bott på. Toppen-fräscha rum, sköna sängar och allt såg rent och trevligt ut. En timma varje eftermiddag bjuder dom på fri öl och vin .Nära till sjätte gatan. Det ända man kan gnälla på är deras valet-parking, kostar vidrigt mycket.

More reasonable rate than the other hotels. Great location around many restaurants. Room was very big and nice. Free internet. Good breakfast. Laundry facility. Nice outdoor pool area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful from the desk attendants taking the time to we had everything we needed to the breakfast staff being very attentive and positive. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities included shampoo, conditioner, soap, make-up remover, and a couple of other items. There was a […] minifridge in the room and a coffee pot with tea and coffee available. The location was great. We walked around downtown, to sixth street for some live music, down around the lake, and the south congress avenue shops. We had a great time! Läs mer

Except for hearing running water in the wall pipes and the early morning and late night construction, which will be temporary, it was a good stay. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, the exercise room was large and had enough equipment to accommodate several guests at the same time, and the manager's happy hour (even though we don't drink) had snacks […] which we enjoyed. Enjoyed my stay, expecially the location. My only complaint was the sound from the halls and adjoining rooms, it was too loud, room needed more soundproofing. I could hear the conversation in the room next to me. Also, the hall where my room was located was just too noisy! Room was clean except the window sills and blinds were loaded with dust. and […] the bathroom tile had some mold in chaulking in a couple of places. The floor, walls and bed were very clean. The Hotel was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do and see. Short walk to 6th Street/Capitol and convienently close to Barton Creek. We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn! Will definitely stay again and recommend to family/friends.

The hotel was in a good locaiton so that we could walk to most of the sights. One of the things not mentioned was that you have to valet part, and thats an extra $23 a night, no discount for staying at the hotel.

Construction in the hotel and surroundings. Very noise won't stay there for the next few years as they build another hotel just across the street. My room was facing this side very noisy very early in the morning should be mentioned on their web side

Nice hotel down by the river, within convenient walking distance to all things Sixth Street. I had a spacious King Suite, but found that they didn't clean all that well in all "the corners".

My wife and I had a very good experience at the Downtown Hampton Inn. The room was very nice and clean. The room was too warm until we realized that setting the AC on an auto temp didn't work nearly as well as setting it on max cool-then it was great. The desk folks were very helpful and told us about some great places to eat and visit. The location […] is great-two Blocks from Congress and two blocks from the river. This hotel was understaffed. The was no bell service. No one in the sundries shop. No bar. Our bathroom floor was grimy. And my room had a beautiful view of the second floor of the adjoining parking garage!

The valet service was as slow, irresponsible and as unreliable as ever. With a very expensive daily rate, you would think you could expect better service. At 3:00 AM there was a terrible disturbance in the halls due to drunks entering the hotel. After trying to wait it out for 10 minutes I called the front desk. The front desk clerk thought it was funny, […] however, after letting her know that I was not amused she said that someone would address it. 15 minutes later I addressed it myself as nothing was done by the hotel staff. Housekeeping could use some coaching. The bath fixtures and such could have used some cleaning but I'm a clean freak, admittedly. Otherwise, great staff and great location.

It is a lovely hotel and the location was ideal. The construction was noisy and dusty, but that could not be attributed to the hotel. It was comfortable. The check-in personnel were genuinely caring and helpful.Thank you.

Nice high rise deluxe property. Breakfast area is on second floor overlooking the lobby. Room had no TV remote (horrors!) and they brought one quickly and made sure it worked. Recommend for good location in downtown. Easy to UT, government, business, etc. Hook Em Horns.

The trip was a getaway weekend with my wife and infant son. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding as well. We noticed a smoke smell the last morning of our stay in the room and hallway. Not sure if it was a ventilation issue but we were leaving so didn't ask. Also be aware there is no free parking. The accommodations were beautiful and the location was ideal for dining, bar hopping, and access to the convention center. Only downside was it was difficult to read the Hotel sign because the only sign was at the top of the building and difficult to view from the street. Great stay. Wonderful and spacious suite.
