I didn't expect much due to the cheap price and some other reviews that I read before I got there. The motel was better than i had thought, big room that didn't smell and lots of tv channels. They also cleaned my room every day, even though I left at 2pm two of the days I was there.

Mycket trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Gav oss råd om billig parkering när deras var full (den var till och med billigare än deras egna). Dock dåligt att disk inte var diskad när man använt ett glas eller så. Fanns inga disktillbehör för att göra detta själv.

Det 12 hektar stora Rose Quarter, med Rose Garden Arena, Memorial Coliseum och Oregon State Convention Center, ligger öster om Willamette-floden alldeles intill motorväg I-5. Rose Garden Arena tar 20 000 besökare, och här har så olika artister som Elmo och Bruce Springsteen stått på scenen. I juni, när staden står i full blom, går rosenfestivalen av stapeln och besökare trängs på gatorna för att njuta av den årliga blomsterparaden.

I stayed here for five nights and was here alone. The only good thing i can say about the hotel is it's location. It's just across the street from the Convention Center, and there's a MAX line station on the road just outside. Rooms are poorly isolated, so when the MAX trains passes, you can it hear as if you were standing outside on the street. Heavy […] traffic surrounds the hotel, so that can be heard 24/7 as well. When MAX and/or heavy trucks passes on the street outside, the entire building actually vibrates. There were a couple of times when i was worried if the whole building would crash. "Convenient on Max train line"
The other patrons were rather noisy in the hallway. The train went right by my window. I thought I wouldn't get any sleep, but I kept the room fan on all night and it drowned out all the noise and worked out fine. It is not the most pleasing looking hotel but I found it suited my needs for my short stay. I wasn't in the room that much. This hotel is very old and not very well maintained. The carpets are stained, the walls have lots of mark on them. The pillows are AWFUL!! We stayed there because of the location. I would not every stay there again or recommend it to anyone.Verifierad gästrecension

"odd smells"
although the room was clean the lobby, elevator and hallway had a very strong incense odor that made us headachy. We also had two "holds" put on our credit card, even though we booked and paid through hotels.comVerifierad gästrecension

The floor might have been as comfortable as the bed. The pillows were miniscule and the blankets had cigsrette burns even though it was a non-smoking room. The windows could not be opened. "Avoid this place"
Took 20 min. to check in. The room had mold on ceiling. The free breakfast advertised was not available. The furniture in the room was broken. The 2 queen beds were actually full sized. Location was the only thing this hotel had going for itVerifierad gästrecension
We had really helpful service, and the price was good for free wifi to be included, but the bed awful. It was so lopsided I felt like I was falling off of it all night. The parking lot was also completely full so we had to use nearby metered spaces. "Not a bad hotel for the price"
i dont really see why this hotel has gotten bad reviews. The room was clean, and for the price, was pretty nice. I dont know what people were expecting for the price, its obviously not the ritz, but it is two blocks from the rose garden, is clean, comfortable, and safe. If you are going to an event at the convention center or rose garden, amd are looking […] for reasonably priced accomodations, i would recomend this hotel. Yes the building is older but with that in mind it was clean, very spacious, very nice and helpful staff. We had a non smoking room. Funny thing, we were cold and turned up vent on the wall... "time for renovation"
Nothing particularly bad, but nothing particularly good either. This is an old hotel that seems old. There comes a time when carpets and furniture need to be replaced, and a fresh coat of paint applied and this hotel has reached it. The bed was soft, the water hot. "The Shady INN"
Check in went smoothly but nothing else did! Our room was dirty especialy the bathroom. The pillows were the size of a book, the thermostat didn't work. There weren't enough towels for three of us and when calling the front desk they stated understaffed and would have security bring them up in a while. "The Inn Was A Slum"
though the rooms were smoke free the halls and the elevator smelled of smoke. There were constantly questional people.....that were guest that hung around the parking lot for hours (made me uncomfortable) No coffee cups in room or in the hotel. broken glass on the ledge that wasnt cleared. "Worst hotel ever!"
I have never complained about a hotel before but this place took the cake!When we opened the door the smell of the room rushed out at you and made you gag. The heat was left on so that made the smell worse. It was a combination of smoke, BO and what we later discovered was dried vomit. "Stay away from this hotel."
I've traveled to 13 countries and to about 25 cities here in the U.S. I stayed in so many hotels, this hotel is by far the dirtiest and the smelliest. I supposedly stayed in a no smoking section of the hotel, but I could smell cigarettes and marijuana coming from the halls or vents, into my room. People smoking in the staircases. A lot of shady activity […] in and around in the parking lot. I've seen females propping the emergency stairway exit open and let guys in ( you guess). The walls and the carpets are so dirty. The small sofa I had in my room looked very disgusting... The only good thing about this hotel is the convenient location. Other than that, your stay there will be a painful experience. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, there was long strands of hair in the bed, the towels were dirty, the heat barely worked and the room wasn't comfortable. I was very turned off and will never return. The fact that my son whose little had to experience that made it even worse for my family and I. The Convention Inn definitely needs to step it up […] especially since they decided to name themselves after the Convention Center. "Just fine for the price"
This isn't that bad of a hotel, especially for the price and location. It's a bit grungy, but the rooms and beds were clean and bedbug-free and stain-free and there's free parking and free wifi in the rooms. I'd stay here again. And, like another reviewer stated, there does seem to be a permanent pot smell in the halls...but who could really complain […] about that? I consider that a plus.
