The condo was nice for 3 grown men. Only complaint was the hot tub smelled like pond water. Not very good after a long day of skiing...

The service was very friendly. They upgraded us from studio to a two bedroom- we could've slept somewhere around 8 people! It was very cozy with a fireplace, balcony, and so on. The kitchen was big and allowed us to do all the cooking we wanted. We were close enough to keystone and dillon to ride our bikes there. But the shuttle service was nice- it […] came quite often. In case you've never booked or stayed at "Forest Condos" at Keystone, you should know that this name is actually a generic name for a number of condo complexes in the resort. You have to check in at the Keystone Condo Registration building which, had I not stayed here before, I would never have figured out. We were booked into the Wild Irishman complex. […] Our unit was large (loft plus bedroom) but dated. But the worst part was that the unit was dirty. The bathroom had mildew stains in the shower and ceiling. The bathroom wall had dried blood on it. The floors were dirty. Overrated! Swimming pool was literally falling to pieces, broken tile on the bottom of the pool and a giant slab of concrete was missing next to the pool. Watch out when you check out they slam you with a $15 a day charge for wi-fi and coffee. This is what I was told at the counter when I checked out. What a joke!

I stayed here during a conference I was attending in Keystone, CO. Although they offer free shuttles around Keystone, it was not particularly simple to get to the conference center from the Forest Condos. I stayed here because it was one of very few places within my allowed per diem rate. The condo itself was okay for the price, although the property […] was dated and the bed was uncomfortable. The condo at Keystone Resort was absolutely wonderful! We felt like we were coming home every evening after our days out. Very comfortable and clean.

I stayed at the Flying Dutchman in one of the single condos. The place was very nice and clean. It was bigger than I expected for a single. There was a bedroom, living room, flat screen, fireplace, kitchen....and to my surprise, a spiral staircase that connected to another bedroom upstairs. The price was very reasonable. We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo and it was fantastic! Very comfortable and great view from the back patio!

We were pleasantly surprised by the roominess of the condo and the amenities. There was space for all and then some. Having a kitchen was great for making breakfast and whipping up pizza's. The condo was very nice. I made a couple of requests for the room and all were met and exceded.

We have stayed at Keystone in the past and always had a pleasant experience. Here are the pros: 1.) Heated garage - big plus because the temperature was in single digits (quite cold). 2.) Pleasant staff - always nice to be greeted warmly. 3.) Bathroom was nicely decorated and had a heating lamp. Here are the cons: 1.) Bed was kind of uncomfortable […] - an upgrade would have been appreciated. 2.) The room was cold when we got there because the thermostat was set on 60 and it was baseboard heat - took until the middle of the night to warm up. 3.) The window was open a crack and was very difficult to close. It seemed quite cold by the drawn blinds when I realized the window was open (about half an inch). 4.) Bathroom was kind of small, but not really a problem. The exhaust fan sounded like it was going to go into orbit. It seemed to have a couple of different settings: loud, louder and "prepare for takeoff." We used the heating lamp instead. We were only there from about 10:45 PM until the 7 AM the next morning. Never used the shower and basically had a place to sleep. We were supposed to stay at the Forest Condos, but checked in at the Lodge and were moved to Edgewater (adjacent to the Lodge). It was great, more than I expected. The kitchen was fully equipped too. They upgraded me from a studio to a one bedroom apartment for no cost. Very happy with my choice.

Check-in was located at the main hotel/ spa, and we had to drive about a mile to get to the actual condo up the hill. The area was great, less than 30 minute drive to Breckenridge, and less than 15 to Keystone resort. There was gas stations and grocery stores not to far either. The two bedroom was great! Downstairs: Bedroom 1 had two double beds, with […] an internal bathroom. Bedroom 2 had two twin beds, with an external bathroom. Upstairs: there was a pull-out queen sofa, two armchairs, and a dining table for six. The kitchen was suitable for normal cooking, and furnished with a stove/oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, dishwasher with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils and washing supplies. There was also a half bathroom upstairs, and lots of storage space for all the luggage and snowboard gear we traveled with. Other extras: a fireplace, a balcony, hot tub near the lobby, ski locker, visitor parking, covered garage (although this was a low ceiling, and we had to take off our overhead carrier before entering with our vehicle to make clearance). Check-out on a Monday was originally at 11am, but we called early that morning and they allowed us till 1230pm. The TV and decorations were a bit on the old side, but that stuff was trivial compared to the other benefits of the condo. This was a good price and great stay! Läs mer

Very large, one bedroom condo. Quiet neighborhood. Numerous shuttle stops throughout the complex. However, shuttle’s last stop is Mountain House area, so if you are going to River Run, you will need to catch another shuttle from there. Shuttles run every 20 minutes. We had a couple of issues this weekend; first, the frame of the slipper sofa was broken […] and didn’t support the mattress. Management didn’t respond to maintenance request. Second, hot tub wasn’t working. According to the management, it was down for maintenance, according to the maintenance personnel, it was broken and they couldn’t fix it. We had booked a condo with FH about a week and a half before going up on 'Presidents' Day weekend so we weren't at all surprised to find somewhat limited choices. We did find a unit with FH and booked it. Very easy and quick. The check- in procedure was very quick and the young lady was extrememly courteous. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an […] upgrade to a slightly larger unit ( ours slept six) and this new one slept 8 with separate bedrooms( one in a very nice loft) with full bath on both floors. Pull out sofa had the standard mattress, but it was passable. Extremely clean, no 'stange' odors, etc. Don't know when these were built but looked from the lack of wear, to pretty new. All the needed amenities. The tv was your basic unit. Could have used a guide to see how to hook up the DVD player ( with all the cable hookups and speakers , the DVD cord was a little hard to find, but we did and everything worked fine. Overall, a very nice palce to stay. Easy access to Higway 6 , a couple of miles from Keystone resort( we skied Copper - only 20 min. ) Convenience store with gas pumpsabout 50 yards from our unit) If there were other people in the other units next to ours ( same building) we did not hear a sound) Will definitely consider it next time up there! We did lose water for about 30 minutes. I guess there was a line break somewhere on the property, but a very nice maitenance gentlemen showed up a little later to apologize and was doing a survery when people would be leaving, etc so as to impact the fewest people the next moring when more extensive work had to be done. I stayed in a studio in the "Mall" buidling. The room was the perfect size for 1 or a couple. Not much room to cook. The food at the Keystone Lodge and the Edgewater Cafe next door was fantastic. Not much to do within walking distance. While not directly on the slopes, the shuttles were very convenient and on time.

We stayed in the Flying Dutchman unit 1140. It was nicer than we expected. It's considered a studio but the owners have made it more like a 1 bedroom. The shuttle stop was right next to the parking lot and there was a hot tub and heated outdoor pool. The bed was a little bit harder than I would have liked but it wasn't bad. The condo was great! It had […] a fireplace, a pull out sofa, a king bed, a full kitchen, and the sink and vanity were outside the bathroom so one person could use the shower or toilet while another person got ready at the sink. This condo was on the first floor of the building so we could hear people walking around above us a little bit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Läs mer

Our problem was with """dirty sheets,there was fresh stains as well as many hairs, pretty much could not get past this"""" Maids were persistent at trying to get in the room before checkout at 11AM and must be more interested in hitting the slopes than providing good service. My fiancee and I went up for the weekend. It was in a wonderful location and there was a lot to do. The bathroom was a little small but the rooms were nice. They are not extremely modern but comfortable and clean. There was lots of space for just the two of us and we had a great time. This unit is not very close to the slopes, but it is very close to the free shuttle which runs late. I spent the weekend with some buddies of mine, and the rooms were perfect. Got way more than we paid for. Hot tub, pool, and sauna were <100 away which is good since it was snowing. Physically the unit had everything we needed, but could have used some […] maintenance. Door handle on patio was broke, and shower door was off its slider, but not too bad considering how beat up ski condos get. Also had a private ski locker in the hall which kept the room tidy. This is not a condo for a romantic getaway, but if you have a gaggle of folks who may be a bit rowdy, its perfect. Läs mer

Excellent condo at an excellent price. In fact, this was hands down the best deal of the whole trip (father/son ski trip). I also had a friend take his son and stayed in another condo and he agreed that this was an outstanding deal. This place was great for a three night getaway with the boys. Great location and friendly people. Close tongue slopes. The hot tub was perfect for late night beers!! Would definately recommend!

The studio was VERY nice, no way could you get such a nice motel for the same price. Plenty of towels etc. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommed highly and would also stay there again.

Great place, great price

Stayed at the Forest Condominiums in Keystone for 3 nights to escape the Denver heat while my sister was in town. We were upgraded from a 1- to a 2-bedroom condo. We had an extra bed so I invited a Denver friend to join us one night which was great! The heated outdoor pool (85 degrees) was fabulous. We were close to many hiking trails and did a day […] trip to Leadville. The small, but functional kitchen came in handy as we prepared all but 2 meals in the condo. There were a couple of glitches...refridgerator was rocky, no handle on the microwave, no coffee refill...but all in all this was a great stay. Läs mer

My girifriend and I took this trip the 5th of May to the 9th, Stayed here at Forrest Condo's and were met w/ beautiful surroundings and vistas. The building we were in, including our apt. shaded w/ pine trees. The hot tub and pool were just steps away outside of our door. Nice, quiet location. Stayed in one bedroom unit, which was very spacious with full kitchen and lots of closet space. Unfortunately the shuttles don’t run often enough and are overloaded in the mornings and afternoons. Will definitely stay there again.

Very nice accomodations, great location with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. Could use HD cable, but don't need much TV time when in such a great location...

We got more than we expected. We booked it with the thought that we'd be skiing all day and just sleep and clean up there. The place was great! full kitchen and very clean room. Very comforting decor. It made us want to stay in and enjoy the place. Perfect for couples.

Checking in was easy, and the staff was super friendly. There was a convenient shuttle right outside (although we didn't wind up using it), and a good selection of restaurants in the area. Even if you missed the scheduled shuttles, you could call from anywhere in the complex and get a shuttle within 10 minutes. Our particular unit smelled a bit like […] gas because of the fireplace, and when we called about it they brought in the fire department right away (but the smell had dissipated by the time they got there). We found that unless the windows were open or the fire was actually on, the gas smell kept cropping up again. Our condo could have used a little modernization. The carpet was worn and had some burns/damage, but you could tell they did try to keep it clean. The couch was uncomfortable and a little gross-looking, with a big hole in the upholstery in back. When I took a sheet out of the closet to cover the couch, I found the sheet was also stained and nasty. But the second sheet I found in the closet was fine -- and of course the ones on our bed were fine. So in essence, good resort facilities overall, but if you're big on cleanliness, you might think about somewhere else. Läs mer

We had 2 bedrooms/2 baths, I would call it townhouse as it was on two floors. Very nice place, recently remodeled. Kitchen was fully stocked, including coffee and spices. Plenty of space. TV is in every room with enough cable channels to choose from, including most favorite kids ones. Internet is cable modem, they did not provide comp cord - we got […] lucky, somebody left it there. Nice fireplace with firewood unlimited. You will have maid service - will make your beds (but not changing linens), change towels and clean out garbage. Gave 4 on comfort because beds were soft and had very strange double headboards - they were moving and making strange sounds, had to fix with extra pillow between. We were there for spring break skiing. Good sound isolation, did not hear neighbors at all. Shuttle stop was next to the building, every 20 min from 8am to 10pm. But if you want to go to the store or place to eat better have a car. Nothing is close to walk. The hot tub, outdoor pool and sauna were located across the road, 2-3 min walk. Very clean and water was hot in the tub and very warm in the pool. Would defenitely stay there again. Läs mer

We went up to get away from Denver for the night and the place was perfect. Well stocked if ya wanted to stay for any duration. Our only gripe was the hot tub was more of a luke warm tub. very satisified.

If you go to the hot tub, which was pretty cool at 80 degrees, bring towels. None provided. Not a bad thing, but it's a short hike from the room. No extra towels in the room either. Overall, nice place, close to everything.

wow, very very nice accomodations, they may have upgraded us, not sure, but it was lovely, 2 bd 2 bth, clean beautiful, full kitchen, rate was competitive for 2 nites for 4 pple -, bked at last min. most places either filled or min stay 3 nites. We were all very pleased. Definitly would stay there again.

The problem is, that "Forest Condominiums" don't exist as a place. There are various condo complexes in Keystone and to the best of my knowledge, "Forrest Condominiums" refers to the "Flying Dutchman", "Wild Irishman" and "Soda Springs" complexes. At least these are the ones you could consider as in the forest. Each of the condo complexes has very different […] facilities and was built/refurbished at a different time. So when booking this, you cannot have any idea, of where you will end up. As for location: All of the complexes mentioned above are served during the winter season by the free "West Shuttle" service every 20 mins. Läs mer
