Nära allt. Härliga rum med feeling. Trevlig personal. Familjärt utan att vara påträngande. Uppkopplat !

Ett hotell som är fräckt designat med en hel del belysningsdetaljer. Hotellet är väldigt mörkt i stort sett i alla detaljer. Golv, väggar, tak och inredning går bitvis i svart eller väldigt mörk färgskala. Till en början ger det ett modernt intryck men jag tröttnade snabbt på det. Läget är mycket bra med närhet till Rambla Catalunya som är en sobrare […] och lugnare gata än t.ex. Ramblan. Det är också nära till stora shoppinggatan Passeig de Garcia där även La Pedrera ligger. Sängen upplevde jag inte som den skönaste av sängar. Lite hård och utan bäddmadrass. Dubbelsängen som vi sov i bestod av två 90, eller möjligen 80 cm resårmadrasser som gled omkring på bottenplattan. Du kan ju tänka dig glipan i mitten. Vi hade dessutom en extrasäng i rummet som bestod av en bäddsoffa. Detta gjorde att rummet blev lite tight och skåpen en aning otillgängliga. Inget jätteminus dock. Hade skåpluckorna öppnats åt andra hållet hade det inte varit något problem alls. Badrummet var stort och rymligt och duschen var ovanligt avancerad med flera olika duschmöjligheter - Takdusch, jetmunstycken för kroppsspray t.ex. Trevlig överraskning. Ett väldigt trevligt badrum/toa. Nackdelen, precis som många skriver, var ju glasdörren in till toan. Om man jobbade på det kunde man se in i toan och det kan ju vara jobbigt ifall men reser med känsliga tonårsbarn. Det fanns heller inga dörrlister så ljudisoleringen där var inte bra.Glasdörren var dock jättesnygg och matchade hotellets övriga inredning. Gymmet bestod av två motionscyklar och två femkilos hantlar. Det fanns också en liten fotställning som jag antar att man skulle sätta fötterna i och göra sit-ups. That´s it. Ingen övrig utrustning fanns i gymmet. INGET LÖPBAND som det är på en del bilder. Inom gymmets väggar finns också en basto med glasdörrar och en dusch. Vet inte hur det funkar i praktiken... Mycket bra läge på hotellet, perfekt med familjerum för oss med två barn. Åt inte frukost på hotellet eftersom flera personer i tidigare recensioner skrivit att den var dyr och inte så bra. På plussidan är hotellets läge och att rummen är hyfsat fräscha. Personalen är trevlig, men utan större servicekänsla. I två av sällskapets fyra rum gick värdeskåpet sönder, vilket tog lång tid att åtgärda/ gick inte att åtgärda. Ytterdörrarna i samtliga rum stängde sig inte ordentligt utan man var tvungen att dubbelkolla detta. I ett rum fanns ett […] hål i taket i duschen upp till ovanliggande rums dusch. Hotel is easy walk from airport bus stop in center city, above the busy area, but close enough for easy walk to museums and other sites. Staff were very helpful, got us checked in quickly when indicated husband didn't feel well. Were able to answer all of our questions and were friendly. We were older than much of the crowd there, but all seemed nice. room […] included a computer and wireless. Room and bathroom were larger for european city, and features all modern, fifth floor had a nice city view with light. One block off of garcia. Sited just off Passeig de Gracia, and 5 minutes from Placa de Cataluyna it is easy to walk to most things including Casa Bottlo and Casa Mila. Cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. Metro stations easy to walk to. If the breakfast deal is available take it. You have to agree to pay to have the breakfast everyday. The buffet is well stocked with decent […] hot and cold food incluing cava, You can fill up on breakfast and even make sandwiches for snacks. Desayuno from local cafes will cost 2/3rds of the breakfast deal for a small limited breakfast. There is a laptop in the room. It is free to use. It does not have iplayer. Connections can be a tempramental. TV is OK only if you are a Spanish or German speaker. Do not buy a Barcelona card unles you plan to overdose on seeing places as you will not get back what you spend even if you use the metro. Our room had a safe included. Läs mer

Stayed there for 3 nights during our Barcelona family holiday. A bit difficult to find this hotel. Even taxi driver found it hard to locate. Nonetheless, once found it is half way between two metro stations, and is 15 minutes' from La Ramblas and many more city attractions. Taxi stand is 3 minutes away. Hotel has modern design. Room size is acceptable. […] A notebook computer with Internet is provided in each room, and there are three more workstations at the hotel entry hall. Rooms are clean (but the ventilation louver near the ceiling would need cleaning), beds comfortable, lighting setting good. Partition walls are bit thin or soundproofing inadequate so on those nights when we stayed there was noise from adjacent rooms. Good hotel and friendly service. Family room is good size for 4 adults. Individual panel TV next to the double bunk bed is a plus. Only regret is that the queen Bed is a little too soft.

Great hotel. Nice room with a balcony which I value greatly. Convenient to La Rambla, historic part of town and port.

The location of the hotel was great and very modern inside. The hallways are not air conditioned but the rooms were nice. One staff person was very rude when we questioned why we had to check in a second time. He actually ignored everything we said and never responded to any questions. What a gem of a hotel. Had a lovely stay - both stylish and functional as its in a great, safe area. Metro not far away, and great shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Would definitely stay there again.

I was travelling on business so i picked this hotel for the convenient location and the fact thatvit offers superior internet service. While the hotel did not disappoint in terms if location, i had a terrible time with the internet. The wifi connection was so poor in my room that i was unable to use my ipad to sype or download. This meant that i had […] to spend a whole lot of time hanging around the hotel lobby where the wifi sygnal was greater. Furthermoree, their system for getting on the wifi was so complex that it kept tnrowing me out and i had to get new password at least four times. I think that honestly this was security overkill. Before this i had been in a small boutique hotel in paris. The wifi was excellent and the pass code security code remained the same for my entire stay. The petite palace touts themselves as a high tech hotel. I think they need to do a lot of work to support this claim. The room i had was nice and i loved the balcony but it kind of smelled like pee so i think they also need to work on cleanliness. Also the breakfast always looked a little picked over and wasn't of the standard that i would expect from a hotel in this price range. Great hotel,,,,,location is good right in the middle of all the good areas....

Possibly one of the worst Hotels we have stayed at. The 3rd bed was very bad and I had to request another room the next day. Despite assurances no arrangements were made. The worst part was that I had to sleep in another room every night for 3 nights due to non resolution of bed problems. In one of the rooms the toilet flush was making noise and I […] had to fix it in the middle of the night. We discovered that our door remained open despite being double locked, it could open without a key. Quite diabolical. The only redeeming feature was the night receptionist who was very helpful. We (2 adults and a 4 year old) recently spent a week (Aug 2011) at the Petit Palace Museum hotel in Barcelona. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel...excellent location...close to everything...clean, quiet. The only issue we ran into was the repeated failure of our key-cards and the need to go to the front desk and replace them. Electronic locks […] are a pain in this facility! great location close to the Rambla. Tight accomodations for a family room..2 adults and 2 children, but for sleeping only it was fine. Clean and a nice home base for sight seeing, but not for spending alot of time in the room

Stayed for 4 nights in mid-June. Located in nice neighborhood, pretty central to all sights - barri gotic, sagrada, park guell. Close to university. Close to Aerobus drop offs and subway. Close to many tasty restaurants. Had a room on first floor, back of building. Not sure if we had neighbors on either side, but we heard basically no noise. Room was […] spacious. This was an excellent modern boutique style hotel. We did not have a particular good view but as we were there on a city break we weren't in the room often. It was close to all amenities and was in an excellent location. The rooms were clean and modern and had the most fabulous shower.

Hotel has modern decor and our room was really well equipped with laptop, TV, safe, great shower and a bath with a jacuzzi. Our family room was clean and spacious. Can't comment on food as we ate breakfast out. Reception staff were helpful - printed our return boarding passes without a problem. Booked this hotel for it location after reading online reviews. It was as reviewed by others - great location, in room laptop was very handy. Had the Family Room with king bed and bunk beds. Just a warning - if you have small kids, there was no guard to keep you from falling out of the top bunk. The bathroom door is frosted glass - can't really see […] through it, but be prepared for the fact that you can hear EVERYTHING in both rooms! My wife and I were travelling with our two young children (3 and 2) and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We travel throughout Europe frequently and this room was a great size for a family with the bunk beds that had individual televisions for each. The laptop in the room was a great plus and we utilized it every night to make our plans for the […] following day. Several people posted about the bathroom door being glass and it didn't really bother us at all. Overall the room was a great size and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling as a family for the extra space. The hotel was in a great location, just at the top of the Ramblas and very close to Placa de Catalunya which is where all of the airport buses drop off and the Hop-On Hop-Off buses operate. We typically walk all over the cities and within about 25 minutes you can make your way around to most of the major tourist attractions. Great location, several nice restraunts around the corner, City center 8 min walk away and a couple of Gaudi hose 5 mins away. Room 311 was a super room for my family. loved the free internet and computer in the room. Would stay again.

We visited Barcelona, Bilbao and Madrid in October 2010, of the three hotels that we stayed in; Petite Palace Museum was the most expensive. The decor of the hotel is progressive, however, the room is small, there is no room for a desk chair and one has to sit awkwardly on the bed to access the laptop. The door practically opens right into the bed and […] you can hear every squeaky door slamming late at night/early morning. House keeping needs to do a better job in cleaning the bathroom. The window in our room faces a window of the adjacent building, so we kept the drapes closed most of the time, since we were only in the hotel to sleep, having a quiet room was more important than a view so we did not request to be moved Having a laptop with free Wi-Fi is a definite plus; the neighbourhood is great, just two blocks north of Plaza Cataluña. There are plenty of good restaurants/tapas bars/cafes in the area. The hotel is convenient to the Metro and shopping but far enough from the main stretch of La Rambla to be quiet yet walkable to Casa Battllo, Casa Mila and other Moderniste sites. All in all, if you don’t pay a lot for the room, I would recommend it, but for what we paid, I had expected better. Läs mer

As is almost always the case, if you compare the Petit Palace Museum with American hotels, it comes up lacking. That said, for a European stay, it's not bad at all. The location is great! Las Ramblas is a couple blocks away and the area right around the hotel is full of good places to eat. The Metro is also a couple blocks in either direction. The front […] desk staff spoke English and were generally helpful. Our room was interesting. We had a king bed (not always easy to find in Europe) and it was hard, but not unbearable. The free internet (including a lap top) in the room was nice. There was a stationary bike in the room as well but it was an old one and we didn't use it. The TV had about 7 channels - all news. The room guide claimed many more but they weren't there. The strangest thing about the place is the bathroom. For starters it has a glass door. It's frosted in the middle, and you can't really see through it, but it doesn't latch or even seal. You'd better be real comfortable with your traveling companion if you stay here. The shower is also a head scratcher. It has a glass wall about half way across which keeps most of the water from ending up on the bathroom floor but means you basically need to be in the shower to turn on the water. I would descripe the bathroom and room as style over function. I'm nitpicking. I still really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others. Läs mer

Excellent value for money hotel in a smart part of Barcelona. Located just off the Passeig de Gracia, the main upscale shopping area of Barcelona. Metro station 2 mins walk away with links all over the city and to the airport. La Rambla is a 5 minute walk so really couldn't be better situated. The room was very smart and modern but still comfortable. Also, the hotel is very quiet at night which is very different to many other hotels directly on La Rambla. Room was extremely small but nicely finished with a fantastic shower. It was very quiet at night and well located for numerous restaurants and bars. Only about 10min walk to La Rambla. My only criticism would be that the doors squeaked and lack of english speaking TV channels. Theres only so much BBC world news you can take.

This hotel was in a wonderful location...close but away from the noise. Great to have a lap top in your room with free internet. Close to bus service , close to the train, easy to walk to various places. Staff was not overly friendly and the hotel had a very cold feel to it. Not a warm and friendly feeling. Very modern too.

This hotel was ideally located, close to Las Ramblas, restaurants and two Gaudi landmarks. Small and quiet, despite the noise from the students, fiestas, and music venues. Only one reminder, which we had forgotten. In Spain, you don't get wash cloths. The rain shower was great though, and although expensive, the hotel breakfast buffet had all the fixings […] and a pot of hot coffee at each table. Beautiful lobby. Very friendly at check in. Free wifi and free use of a laptop in the room to boot! I had my computer, but I often used the one in the room simply because I could. The hallways were cool enough to take pics of, with the blue track lighting and the motion sensor lights above. One of the coolest hotels I've stayed in. The swinging door […] of the bathroom was not my favorite, though the artwork on it was! And the shower...ahh, the shower. Great water pressure, and three different delivery methods. You'll see what I mean if/when you stay there, but suffice it to stay, you get a handheld nozzle, the over the head outlet, and a third that comes out of the wall basically! Very cool indeed. This hotel is gorgeous from the moment you step through the automatic sliding glass doors in the lobby. Tastefully decorated with modern design, yet doesn't clash with the fact that the building itself is hundreds of years old. Great balcony views of the neighboring streets, even from the first floor. The bathroom was beautiful and I loved the shower. Located right near the Passeig de Gracia, you are literally seconds away from a plethora of outdoor cafes and restaurants, and just a couple of blocks from Barcelona's fantastic Metro system and Antoni Gaudi's Casa Batllo--a must see! This is a great quiet hotel with an outstanding location. Just walk out the front door and you are in the main area of the city with great places to walk, and see, and wonderful places to eat. The hotel was very clean and well maintained with excellent staff. We booked a family room which worked well for our family of four.

We stayed here for two nights and found the location to be excellent. Close enough to shopping and food, but not too close to the noise of La Rambla. Our room was upgraded to a family suite, which was terrific. Every room has a laptop and internet, which we also appreciated greatly. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Petite Palace is in a prime location just off of the Main Ramblas. It's not too noisy and perfectly centered in the City, near many Gaudi attractions, Metro and train station stops. The High Tech deal was VERY conveniant, and I can't say how we would have fared without that laptop in our room. We appreciate the location because it was close to the Ramblas and the good restaurants. The confort was good as well, the room has notebook with free acess to internet.

We would definitely use the hotel again, although looking at prices for next year they seem to be much higher! The price paid on line does not include ANY food! Their restaurant was empty virtually throughout the visit.

Only very slightly frayed around the edges, with fun décor and situated in a great location. Reception staff were almost all wonderful. Would recommend to anyone, and the laptop which we had in our room (which was free to use) proved invaluable when planned trips for the day, and checking locations on Google maps. Perfect.

Positives of hotel: nice room, loved jacuzzi bath, good air con, internet access, nice decor, ok bed, good location. Negatives: desk staff not v.friendly, no view from room, no tea/coffee making facilities in room, overpriced mini bar-3 euro for bottle of water!

Greit hotell. Veldig bra beliggenhet. Fredelig område, fine kafeer og butikker i området. Gangavstand til det meste og nær metroen.Stilig , hyggelig og fredelig hotell. Akseptabel pris. Kan gjerne anbefales

Vi hadde et topp opphold på alle måter. Helt greie rom og veldig sentral beliggenhet i sentrum ifht La Rambla, metro osv. Anbefales

Hotellet er et firestjerners hotell, og gav oss valuta for pengene. Ypperlig beliggenhet, rolig om natten samtidig kun 5 minutter å gå til hoveddel av La Rambla. Hotellbetjeningen var hyggelige og imøtekommende. Et lite minus for et noe sparsomt utvalg til frokost. Vil anbefale dette hotellet til andre.

lo bueno : la ubicacion,el diseño del lobby, las duchas son grandiosas y el internet es super lo regular : los inodoros los instalaron para gente muy alta.. lo malo .las camas individuales no tienen estabilidad,la puerta del baño no se cierra es de vidrio.

Quem precisar ir a Barcelona nao deixe de se hospedar neste fantastico hotel. Localizaçao excelente com conforto idem. Nota 10.

Ayant séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels de grande classe, je dirai celui-là est sympathique; proche de la place catalunya, mais lumière froide à l'intérieur de la chambre, moderne mais petite avec 2 enfants. La salle de bain est belle mais les buses du jaccuzzi laissent à désirer quant à la propreté; une des télés ne marchaient pas. Sinon ordinateur portable […] et wii-fi gratuit dans chaque chambre.
