Sämsta jag varit med om i hela mitt liv. Små äkliga rum, satt minst 10 utsmetade myggor på vägarna och i taket. Man hade Max 35cm runt sängen som var 120cm(dubbelsäng) badrum såg ut precis som i en hytt på stena line. Ut genom fönstret var en liten synlig gränd. Allt som allt, skithotell. Skulle vara designade rum enligt skylt i lobbyn

Great for an overnight stay. Room was comfortable and staff very pleasant and welcoming. Delicious continental breakfast was included in my stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff if extremely helpful. Location is great. Room is small, and bathroom is tiny. I didn't have a table and a chair in my room, so ask about that if you need one when you book. Overall, it's a good hotel if you plan to spend your time in Melbourne, and not in the hotel room. One minor thing is that I don't think they have cleaned the floor in my room, […] not once during my 9 nights stay. Also, I'm glad I didn't stay in the nearby hostel (was tempted to due to 3-4 times lower prices), just looking at the people who hanged around it. Läs mer

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in in Melbourne. It's part of the Eight Group of hotels, which focuses on being cheap and trendy. They've got the cheap part down pat but trendy implies the rooms are halfway decent. It was excellent but the room left a bit to be desired.The windows were sealed and I like a little air. There was only one light switch for the whole room. Bathroom was exceptionally tiny.

I had 6 days left after my tour and I chose to stay at the Pensione. The rates were in my price range as I am not one that needs a big fancy room and price. The rooms here are smaller, yet they serve the same purpose. The hotel has everything a person needs. There wasnt anything wrong with this hotel, i was just expecting a little more for the money. Old TV which didnt fit in the whole picture and not very spacious. It probably didnt help that i was on the ground floor though. The staff are wonderful though. Very friendly and very helpful. I would like to commend the staff, top notch service!!

Room rather small. Glass door between room and vefy small bathroom/tiolet not ideal (almost see through). Okay for a couple but not for others. Bar next door played loud music till 2am most nights .Good location, reasonably clean, sevice good reception staff helpfull. Value for money and would use again.

Not enough to make me completely comfortable. Hallways were scuffed, paint and carpets are old, bedrooms & bathrooms are in need of renovation. I had the basic room but bathrooms are by far the smallest I had stayed in. Water from the shower automatically ends up in the standing room area of the sink and the sink is too small to wash your face above […] without getting the water everywhere on the ground. Good location across the street from the train station and close to the Crown Casino. Price was lower than the others I had stayed in (which is what drew me for only one night). I stayed here twice in the space of one week because of my odd travel schedule in Melbourne. My first experience was pleasant as I got the room for disabled persons. This room was clean and spacious. The second time was in a normal room. It was small but sufficient. But this room was slightly filthy as I had chewing gum stuck on cupboards. The bed itself […] was a highlight as it was comfortable. Great location: short walk to southern cross station, the heart of the cbd and the Melbourne convention centre. Nice clean rooms with good amenities. Bathroom small but functional and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel

I love staying at the Pensione Hotel when i come for a weekend of shopping!! The rooms are compact, but for one person they are all that you need!! The location is so close to the Southern Cross Train Station, tram stops, sky bus, city centre, crown casino etc - its so convenient!! One negative would have to be the bathroom sink... way too small for […] the average person, but its something i just deal with as everything else is brilliant.... the helpful staff and the cleanliness of the rooms is spot on! Great location as it is close to the Southern Cross station and the rooms are quite comfortable. As I checked in early there were no rooms available and I had to pay $65 more to get accommodated in an higher category room. Avoid checking in early before their normal check in time of 2pm. Breakfast and Internet is not free and it is expensive.

We felt that the price was reasonable given the WED and THUR nights we stayed, however given the size of the room, we now know what our standards are and now know whether mid-week or not to feel like are really having a holiday in somewhere plush it will be a minimum of around $200 per night. Very friendly staff, great service. Very small room with just the basic. The bathroom was very strange. There was no proper door, just a glass thing that couldn't be closed (be close friends if you're gonna stay there!). The sink was under a shalf so very hard to use. Perfect hotel for a few nights in Melbourne! Very comfortable Queen bed, very clean, stylish and well staffed. It is very close to Southern Cross Station, and a short tram ride to the centre. Great price, this was the same price or cheaper than a double at some hostels! I would stay here again, and recommend it to everyone!!

The beds were super comfy and for a room with three single beds it was a fair size although the bathroom is tiny!! All very clean and tidy and nice to have good airconditioning.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom small, could do with a shower curtain so the rest of the bathroom doesn't get wet when showering. Could leave my bags for the day even after checking out and didn't get charged, not like the other hotel up the road. Overall, would stay again.

The smallest room I've ever seen, sliding door to bathroom kept sticking, no external windows AT ALL. OK for a quick stop if you are too drunk to drive like we were going to be.

Good location, very friendly helpful staff, room size and level of luxury reflects the tarrif. Room 7 definitely needs an overhaul to the shower recess - clean but showing its age

No chair in room to relax there....only the bed and an ottoman. Small rooms. Had to move to different room than first one, as the smell from carpet cleaner was too strong and sneezed from it resulting in no sleep. Would not recommend it.
