Det var ett lugnt och hemtrevligt hotell. Hotellägaren Ramon var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Vi stortrivdes! Stannade i 2 nätter, kunde bott där lite längre. Promenadavstånd till centrum. Rekommenderas!

If you get a chance - stay here! This small hotel is wonderful, perfect location and great service. Two pools and several sunchairs if you feel like hanging out at the hotel, or walk to the nearest beach 5 min away or walk down to the harbour, five minutes away. Safe, nice neighbourhood. Det var ett fantastiskt litet hotell med värme och gästvänlighet. Roman som jobbade på hotellet fixade allt med ett leende. Charmigt ställe på ett lungt läge men ändå gångavstånd till allt.Många möjligheter till att sitta i solen balkongen eller vid poolerna, två små lagom pooler. Vi bodde 2 nätter på Heron House Court i början av januari 2013 och är jättenöjda. Mysigt litet tvåvåningshotell med verandor att sitta ute på och en jacuzzi och en pool. Romain i receptionen är helt fantastisk och berättar och guidar er till allt som ni önskar. Han bokar utflykter och hjälper till med allt ni önskar. Frukost ingår - en hyfsat ordentlig […] frukost med bagels, flingor, mjölk, kaffe och juice. Hotellet ligger max 10 minuters promenad från huvudgatan Duval men det är lätt att hitta dit. Att hotellet ligger en bit utanför huvudgatan gör att det är ett lugnt och skönt område. Vill man inte gå ner till huvudgatan finns det några restauranger och cafeer nära hotellet. Romain har kontakt med en cykeluthyrare, så ni beställer vilka cyklar ni vill ha och 20 minuter senare står de utanför hotellet. Parkering av bil sker gratis på gatan utanför. Enda nackdelen jag kan komma på är att handfatet är i rummet, inte i badrummet, om det nu är en nackdel..? Rekommenderar verkligen detta hotellet och ska vi till Key West igen är det mycket troligt att det blir detta hotellet igen. Läs mer

Vi bodde på Heron House Court i tre dagar och har varit 100 procent nöjda hela vistelsen. Roman i receptionen är fantastisk och tar väl hand om sina gäster. Hotellet är fräscht med mysiga rum och ligger centralt, även om det är en bit att gå till stränder och vissa restauranger. Trevligt och mysigt hotell med receptionisten -alltiallon- Ramon som står för hela servicen, han fixar det mesta - alla arrangemang, allt du vill och alltid med ett leende på läpparna. Mycket Trevligt bemötande. Hotellet var bra. Tog ungefär 8 - 12 min till centrum. Frukosten var helt ok. Den som behöver wi-fi så var det mycket bra.

Ett litet mysigt hotell mitt i men ändå vid sidan av. Oerhört trevlig receptionist, hjälpsamm på alla sätt. Mycket bra frukost. En vanlig pool och en bubbelpool fanns på innegården. Tog bara ca 10 min att gå till huvudgatan. Skulle helt klart välja detta igen om jag skulle dit. Full pott!

We had the pleasure of staying in the junior suite for 4 nights. The room was wonderful; spacious and beautifully decorated. With two sets of a/c's the room was cool and fresh at all times. The hotel is situated close to Fleming Street in the old part of KW, with wonderful houses all around and a very relaxed and calm atmosphere - but still just a 5 […] minute walk to the vivid party life at Duval Street. However, the best thing to do is to rent a bike and cycle in KW - it will give you freedom and opportunities to explore the city in a calm pace. (you can receive and leave the bikes at the hotel) The breakfast is complimentary and generous with fresh bread/pastries etc from the nearby old bakery. Since there only are a couple of bigger tables, the guests are eating the breakfast together, which creates a intimate cozy atmosphere (but if you want/need privacy, you can eat in the pool area). Last but certainly not least: Roman. He makes the difference between an ordinary hotel/b&b and Heron House Court. Without his kindness, hospitality and personal commitment in your vacation - HHC would not be what it is. Without being intrusive, Roman makes you feel really taken care of - and knows all the guests on a first name basis. He takes his time and really goes out of his way to give you advises, make reservations and follows up on how things went. Roman is truly the heart and soul of HHC. Nice small hotel with plenty on space for your stay. Our room was a mini suite and was very nice. I would stay here again. It is centrally located and an easy walk to downtown. The staff was excellent and served a nice continental breakfast.

My husband and I loved the location of the Heron House Court. It was a bit of a walk to the main attractions and party area of Duval St but we liked wandering around the neighborhood and discovering the places that locals go. Roman from Heron House was very helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel based on price and number of good reviews. I have to say that almost all reviews were very accurate, especially concerning the manager Roman. He was one of the nicest, most helpful hotel managers I have ever dealt with. His attentiveness and friednly attitude made up for any shortcomings the hotel may have. The surrounding neighboorhood […] is nice/quiet and close to Duval St and other attractions. My only suggestion to the hotel would be that my room did have some maintenance issues like paint/drywall repairs needed, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Good location - quiet near good restaurants. Rooms need attention and updating. Bring your own toiletries, only very small soap and shampoo in room. One of the smallest rooms I have stayed @. Parking is biggest frustration in this residential neighborhood . Room was clean no doubt but needs to be upgraded. Bathroom floor linoleum not tile and wall paper peeling off ceiling area n bathroom. I booked a room with a king size bed. I got 2 twin beds pushed together with a king size sheet on them. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Friendly atmosphere. Roman was very helpful/knowledgeable. The only negative thought concerning the room was that ti only had one chair. Since there was two of us, somebody had to sit on the bed. Of course, you really don't spend too much time in the room in Key West.

The location is excellent in the old town and is very walk-able to all major destinations. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. Service was excellent and Roman was a superb host. The condition of the rooms and exterior could use an upgrade but all was clea.

The room we stayed in needed some updating in the bath but the room was quaint and the amenities lovely. The innkeeper was right on with recommendations for dining and definitely rent bikes for getting around!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Key West. Convenient and comfortable. Needs a few updates, but the staff (Roman in particular) make up for it all by sheer strength of personality and friendliness. We had a fantastic time! Parking is a challenge, but as others have noted Roman is very helpful in finding a spot. Leave the car parked and just walk around town. Many restaurants are nearby including on the waterfront. Duval street is a little more of a hike, but not a problem if you are healthy. It helps walk all that food and drink off! Originally we were going to stay on the other end of the island. Decided instead to stay in the old section as long as we were going to be there for 3 days.. Searched the internet a lot and came up with Heron House Court. It turned out being a fantastic choice and would go back tomorrow if we could. The bed was very comfortable, the ground floor room […] opened right out to the pool and hot tub, there was unlimited ice available, a little fridge in the room, a continental daily breakfast was just enough to start the day. A couple warnings: the TV in the room was small, but we were not there for TV. Our room opened right out to a common deck. There are other rooms that are on the 2nd floor that only have windows. be sure you know what you are reserving. There is a great Irish bar 2 blocks away and a pastry shop just down the lane. Richard and Roman run a top-notch, professional B&B at Heron House Court. Breakfast offers several tasty choices, and the guests who come down to dine are friendly and open.
