Den som vill ha nära till San Fransiscos underbara kust med gigantiska parker (Presidio & Golden Gate) är detta rätt hotell! Det är bara några kvarter ner till vattnet med utsikt över Golden Gate och Angel Island. Man kan promenera längs vattnet in till centrala stan, vilket tar cirka 30-40 minuter. Det är svårt att hitta hotell i San Fransisco som […] både har vettig standard och rimligt pris. Detta hotell är en bra kompromiss. Det har motellstandard (dvs inte så hög), men rummen är förvånansvärt stora, fräscha och fina. Jag blev väldigt positivt överraskad. Sedan är ytterdörren dock undermålig och släpper in mycket ljud utifrån. Jag bad om att få ett rum som inte vetter direkt mot gatan, vilket minskade trafikbullret en del. Minimal frukost.

Dirty carpet, cardboard doors so you heard ALL traffic, limited parking, bad breakfast, no micro, ni fridge, noisy people in the motel.. there you have it. Although very good location, and that was the ONLY good with this crappy motel..

Detta hotell kändes mer som ett motell. Men det var rent och hyfsat fräscht. Jag känner dock att vi valde helt fel läge på hotellet. Är man i San Francico utan bil (och bil blir nästan bara besvärlig i denna stad!) så bör man bo vid Union Square eller Fishermans Wharf tycker jag. Detta hotell kändes lite avsides även om området var tryggt & bra.

Hotellet hade dåligt med parkeringar, så kom man lite senare på eftermiddagen var det svårt att få någon. Dessutom är det svårt med parkeringar på gatan då det kostar en del och dessutom får man inte stå där när det ska städas på gatan, vilket görs flera gånger i veckan ibland. Frukosten innehöll bara en muffin och kaffe/juice, vilket inte var så bra. […] En större frukost hade varit bra. För övrigt ett trevligt familje hotell som ligger i trevligt kvarter med många affärer och restauranger. Gångavstånd (om man vill) till Fishermann och "krokigaste gatan". Room unclean, cleaning service wasn't done after first day. They just removed the dirty towels. They didn't even brought new ones. No effort made fom their side in order to compensate for the mistake. Breakfast is a joke. Just a old muffin and a bad coffey. I do no recommend.

Room was as expected. The common area (elevator, stairs) feels like it's never been cleaned. Sticky handles, stairs, hand rails. We took the stairs because the elevator felt/looked full of germs. Inn was convenient to the places I needed to visit but the one day stay was all I could handle. We arrived late and the check in went well. Location was great. Room was shabby; towels thin; lamps wobbly, blankets torn, carpet stained. However, price was right, location was good and the room was clean, although walls very thin. Advice: don't mess with the ladies in the coffee shop. no extras and no smiley faces!

the only complaint I have is the breakfast. They are extremly cheap. one cup of coffee and one small muffin. No seconds oh and one napkin.

The picture of the hotel is better than realty. The bed room was clean but the linen was worn out. Very old TV some channels did not come in very well. I liked the smell of paint in the bathroom but the paint is a little sloppy and floor grout is coming up. Worst of all is the shower curton had lots of MOLD ON IT. The elevator door handles fell of.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are into cleanliness. Of the 4 nights I stayed, all the towels provided are not 'fresh' & white (yes, it's mostly faint yellowish in color!!!), with a moldy smell :(

The location is great if you want to see something other than union square. It is literally a block or so from the marina, and the stores in the neighborhood are super! There are also plenty of bars around if you want to pub crawl. Pros are location and price. Cons are the place isn't five star accommodation, which shouldn't be expected anyways.

I stayed only for 2 nights. The rooms are quite usual, the only disadvantage was shower not working correctly.

Great location with easy access to buses and great restaurants. The hotel is old and not appealing visually but was very clean and the couple managing it were very pleasant and helpful. breakfast of a drink and a muffin was included in the price and was available from the cafe next door to the hotel. My sister and I had a great stay. The staff was extremely helpful, honest, and courteous. The bathroom of one room had a little bit of mold but the other room was clean. I felt safe walking through the neighborhood at night and there was good shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance. It was also close to the wharf.

This hotel is alright for a short stay. Quite expensive for what you get. Lot of noise comes from the main road. Lighting in the room is poor, as there is no ceiling light. Breakfast was extremely poor. Only one small coffee; one small muffin and juice is provided per customer. The towels had a distinctive bad smell. Location is good, rates are also less. But Parking is very limited and though they say breakfast is included they only give 1 muffin from an adjacent shop. Got to be careful with your bags as well and lock all of them before leaving for outside trip. We found our room as OPEN after returning from day long SFO trip!!!

Heater did not work? I got in late just stayed one night so just went to sleep, was a cold night in San Fran.

Service at the hotel was satisfactory even if they couldn't address all the maintenance problems in the room and was told I couldn't use the hotel's parking lot even if I was a guest and parking was included. The breakfast provided on the coffee shop next door was excellent and very friendly service.

the only thing i didnt like was breakfast should have more to offer like bananas or fruit

Nice location with lots of food options surrounding. The room is ok, just a bit noisy as it's right next to the main street. Value for money.

Service in reception was very bad. Man called AMAR was very inpolite. Room was small for 2 person. The floor war creaking in many places. This kind of hotels should be closed.

This is a VERY clean and comfortable hotel not to mention an awesome location. It is a great price, especially considering the location. The breakfast needs to be improved as I was offered a mini muffin and cup of coffee. You receive your breakfast at the deli across from the front desk and when I told them I was allergic to the muffin and asked for […] a piece of fruit they said "NO". I was shocked, as I have a food allergy and wasn't asking for something that was hard to get as the place you receive the muffin is a full working deli. I wasn't asking to give me an omelet, but a piece of fruit. Other than that this place is awesome. Since there is a refrigerator in the room I bought my own breakfast for the rest of my stay. The hotel was good for the price. Our main complant was parking. For 34 rooms they had only 15 parking spots. There was no coffee machine in the room. The included breakfast which was at the small coffee shop next door, was basically a muffin and coffee, and the service was terrible; they had additions to the coffee (powder cinnamon and cocoa) in another […] corner of the shop and will not let us use them stating that it is not for hotel guests. Perfect place for our family to stay while visiting San Fransisco. Close to shopping, food, sights and reasonably priced.

This budget hotel is ideal for a short stay. The rooms were fine although we did have some faulty electrics. However the staff took a note of this on check out so they were able to fix the problem. The rooms looked decorated fairly recently, and although quite noisy if you're near the street, were comfortable and clean. Overall, value for money in a […] nice location. Läs mer

This is not a luxury hotel. It is a converted motel. But the room was clean; the bed extremely comfortable, the water, hot. The air conditioning/heater was a little loud. The staff was genuinely friendly and even warm. Dollar wise, for San Francisco, it can't be beat!

Fully furnished room and very large room. Would give rating of 5 except for the old carpet. Nevertheless, the room was an exceptional value.

When we checked in at the hotel, we noticed the rug in our rooom was damp. We went to dinner and when we came back, the rug was soaked. We called downstairs and the maintenance man came up and told us the air conditioner was leaking, but that he would move us to a new room first thing in the morning. At 9am, my brother went downstairs to talk with the […] front desk person, who was also the maintenance man. He told him our room would be ready in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, our new room was still not ready, and when we told the person our day was being wasted waiting for a room, he told us we could just leave, he would refund our money or we could wait and move our stuff when the room was ready. We tried to explain again that we wanted to go sight seeing, very politely, and he started yelling at us. We asked to speak to the manager and he refused to call him until my brother insisted, and then proceeded to talk with him in either hindu or pakistani, despite we asking him to speak English. The manager apologized and personally moved our stuff when a room became available so we could go, but it was an absolutely horrible experience and, with two young children in tow, we will never never stay in this motel again Läs mer
