Det fanns inte tvål och inga handdukar för kroppen utan bara för händerna. När vi kommer till receptionen får vi handdukar i rätt storlek men med blodfläckar på och får till svar att det inte finns någon tvål på det här hotellet. Vilket vi tyckte var väldigt konstigt. Däremot efter att vi kommit hem från Kuekenhof dagen efter så fanns det tvål i badrummet […] efter att städpersonalen gjort rent! Överpris för hotellets frukost som var starkt begränsad i sitt urval av mat, här rekommenderas att äta ute på stan istället, t.ex. Gartine som hade fantastisk mat och låg centralt i Amsterdam och dessutom kostade mindre. Det som var bra var att det var gratis buss till flygplatsen och att de talade väldigt bra engelska. Trevlig personal som körde bussarna och i det stora hela hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Positivt var att dem hade gym, bastu och bassäng vilket vi tyvärr inte hann prova. Läs mer

Hotellet ligger bra; nära Schipol och är bekväm och tillräckligt tyst. Tyvärr fick jag betala "Lokale belasting" som hotellet påstod inte hade betalats av Hotels.com. Ang rummet: Tyvärr fylldes inte rummet på tvål, det bytes inte plast glas, det bytes inte tekoppor; dessa fick jag komma till receptionen varje kväll för att be att få tvål och rena glas […] och koppor. Trots gratis buss mellan Schiphol och hotell kostar det en hel del att varje dag ta tåget mellan Schiphol och Amsterdam. Dessutom slutar gratisbussen gå före 1:00 och då blir det taxi. Dessutom var det dyrt att köpa frukost på plats. Om man lägger på alla extra resekostnader och restiden, så är det antagligen mer prisvärt att boka ett hotell inne i […] Amsterdam. The staff need to do a change from the service sector to swabbing the streets or something where there is no point of contact with humans. A good idea for Best Western is to stop the franchise with them. Have over 200 nights a year, this was the all time lowest...

Lätt och smidigt att ta sig till från flygplatsen. Gratisbuss går var 30:e minut. Rummen var ok. Någon glödlampa var trasig, annars var allt ok. Frukosten ingick inte när jag bokade och den var VÄLDIGT dyr. En tredjedel så bra som svensk hotellfrukost och dubbelt så dyr..

Ett helt ok hotell för dig som landar sent och skall resa tidigt från Schipol nästkommande dag. Det går bussar från Schipol till hotellet cirka en gång per halvtimma. Dock följer de tyvärr inte alltid tidtabellen. Hotellet var trevligt men jag fick aldrig Wifi att fungera på rummet.

Bra hotell om man behöver bo nära flygplatsen. Ligger dock i ett industriområde. Att det knappt fanns något kallvatten i badrummet var mindre bra.

Hotellet är rent,snyggt och bekvämt. Inget att anmärka på förutom receptionen. Väntetiden var 15-20 min vid ankomst trots att vi var nr 2 i kön. Alla kollegor som rörde sig i receptionen under vår väntetid, brydde sig inte det minsta om oss. Detta trots vädjande blickar från den mycket upptagna receptionisten. This was a post cruise layover to catch a flight back to the US. Reasonably priced and it served its purpose. The shuttle ran on time but we decided that it was not worth the effort to try and go into town.

The hotel is fairly new and very clean and its staff is nice. Although it is located outside Amsterdam, guests are provided free transportation to and from the airport, and from there you can take a train to Amsterdam. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a very good vacation in Holland.

The Hotel, once we eventually found it, was great. However the directions we were sent were vague and misleading - even Amsterdam's very efficient tourist information board later agreed. So once we had already wasted half a day searching round the area of Hoofdorp that our sat nav(s) had taken us to (miles away!), and asked as many locals as we could […] find - all of which had no idea of the whereabouts of the hotel, we eventually travelled back to Schipol, where we were offered a taxi for 35euros to take us to the hotel. Realising that the taxi driver was also confused by the directions/address we were given, we decided not to take this option - just as well, as we later discovered that the journey from Schipol to the 'mystery' hotel should cost around 15euros. The reason I say 'mystery' hotel is because we eventually discovered that said hotel is actually more commonly known as the Bastion hotel! - once we figured out (for ourselves) that the address and the name of the hotel were actually not completely in keeping with the information we had been given, we found a free shuttle bus from the airport direct to the hotel. This shuttle was regular and efficient, and if only Best Western or Bastion had informed us of this my heavily pregnant partner and I wouldn't have wasted hours and hours walking round 'no mans land'! The room was clean, comfortable and fairly spacious. The bathroom was modern which is great. It is a good option near the airport if you are in transit. There is a nice gym and swimming pool and even pool tables. The wifi works fine. One thing to note is that there is no free hotel shuttle service to and from the airport after midnight. Hotel location is OK if you want to see things around Amsterdam, not the city itself. The only thing that bothered me is that they charged me €5.5 per night as "Local Tax" even after I fully paid everything beforehand, which does not state anywhere in hotel description or booking confirmation page. Brilliant hotel, rooms lovely even though we had two twin beds! Only thing was breakfast was continental and I prefer fried breakfasts but 24 hour right next to it so wasnt a massive issue! Hotel lovely , will definitely be back!

I really liked the hotel, it is very close to the airport, free transport is going every half hour to-from the hotel to the airport, which is probably less than 10 minutes away. The lobby staff was very patient and friendly. The room was updated and clean. I was very pleasently surprised and very satisfied. Would definitly stay here again.

It was comfortable enough but the breakfast was grossly overpriced. There was dust all over everything in my room.. The carpet in my room and in the hall looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite awhile. The little porch at the end of the hall was clearly never looked at at all. At the beginning of the trip we stayed 3 nights and then overnight before our flight home. Except for nicking us 5.5 euro city tax, not included in price we paid, everything was fine.

Best Western is an ideal hotel for the weary traveller. It is conveniently located 10 minutes drive from the airport in Amsterdam. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The hotel is also 5 minutes walk from a McDonalds restaurant.

This hotel is okay for an over night between flights for the price ($100usd). The shuttle service was extremely convenient and the drivers were quite friendly and helpful. Sadly, the rest of the staff left much to be desired with respect to customer service. The receptionist was curt and flippant. I arrived around 10am and had requested an early check-in […] at the time I made my reservation. When I arrived, I was told check-in is 2:00, even though the website indicated it was noon. The woman at the reception desk told me I could wait in the lobby, where I was completely ignored by the staff even while sitting in the eating area hoping to get a cup of coffee or some food. Around 1pm, I watched them check-in two other parties who had just arrived from the airport even though I had been sitting there for three hours.. When the receptionist did finally check me in after I approached the desk around 1:30, I had to push my own luggage cart to my room. I later ordered dinner-ick-the McDonald's across the street likely offers far better cuisine (ummmm... caeser salad does not usually consist of sundried tomatoes, radicchio, black olives or bits of fried chicken and fatty bacon). All in all the convenience factor was nice for the cost, but don't expect much beyond a place to crash. Läs mer

The hotel was good, competitively priced and convenient. The only remark is that the shower was pretty much useless. Upon inquiry at the front desk I was told that this was part of an environmental savings efford. This may be but making the shower next to not useable is not acceptable. Had a wonderful stay. Great value for the price, and the shuttle service is very convenient. You do not need to call the hotel to get the shuttle. Just go outside of the airport to the airport shuttle location, and look for the Best Western Schiphol bus or van. They come about every 30 min. We stayed at this hotel for four nights and was very pleased. Our room was nice and comfortable. There was a hot pot, tea bags and instant coffee provided in our room. The shower was magnificent on a tired body. The bathroom door was so heavy that is was not easy to let the steam out after a shower. This is my only complaint. The hotel shuttle back […] and forth to the airport was every thirty minutes and free. The train station is inside the airport. The train to Amsterdam was every 15 minutes and took 15 minutes of travel time. The free walking tour in Dam Square was great! The train to the Hague was every half hour and took thirty minutes. This hotel worked out perfectly for what we wanted. The first day we rode the bus directly from the airport to Keukenhof Gardens. The airport had cheap train tickets to downtown Amsterdam and back. The best part was the free shuttle bus and close to McDonald's for food.
