Hotel ok for 1-2 nights stay apart from noise of guests returning at night which was on/off till about 3-4am.

Hotel noisy on a night time with people coming in from pubs/clubs late. Problems initially with check in of 2nd room and thne confusion over breakfast being included as we were told it was included when we checked in but then told it was when we went day for breakfast the following day. When the waiter as breakfast checked with the desk he was told […] it wasn't included, then when we went and checked with the desk we were told it was. So although we got breakfast in the end it was a long wau round doing it. Apart from these mix ups the hotel was clean, comfy and good central location. Läs mer

The Hotel was very convienient for the city centre, a short walk to all the main attractions. It was very clean and comfortable the shower was amazing.

A nice hotel for a mid week meeting or break. The weekend was full of stag and hen parties. Don't expect any sleep and don't stay if you are offended by bad language.

Like all central Newcastle hotels if you book from Thursday to sunday expect to be woken by the returning guests from stag/ hen nights. Hotel clean and comfortable.

Close to Metro Radio Arena which was very convenient. Also close to Railway Station. Room was very clean and comfortable. If I had to give a negative it would be there was no bath in the bathroom in the room we were allocated.

Good clean and friendly hotel. Good location to the pubs and the train station would highly recommend it.

The hotel was literally a stones throw away from the arena, which was the reason for our stay.bathe rooms were comfortable, clean and modern The only downside was that there was no hotel parking. There is a multi story car park directly opposite, however it costs you to park, after you have already paid for the hotel. Not good.

The hotel is 3 minutes walk away from the city centre bars and train station which was very handy for my friends from the USA who were staying. We had a great night. The hotel was reasonably priced. My only regret is not trying the breakfast in the morning but I had too much to drink the previous night and fell back to sleep after my wake-up call!

Booked this then noticed a lot of reviews said the place was noisey and rowdy, as i was staying with my 9 year old this did cause some concern. Hotel was clean tidy and excelent location for the metro arena. In the evening yes there was a few groups of stags and hens downstairs but was all in good fun and nothing was going on that would make me feel […] uncomforable to be there with a child. Later on at night bouncers are at the door but from what i seen this is a precaution more than anything. Very bright and clean hotel. They were doing some painting work but tried very hard not to let this impact on guests. Large room with everything required. Great value for money

Stayed here with 5 collegues for a work event, booked kind of blind, but using reviews. Got a fantastic rate which, to be honest made the decision for me, however the standard was really high, very well presented rooms, great position. the jurys inn newcastle - close to railway station and ideal for visiting newcastle city and venues. is very clean and staff very help.

Its very nearby but not exactly free so by the time you factor that in, as well as it appears to be the hen/stag night hotel of choice in it might be cheaper and more convenient to go elsewhere.

This was a terrific place to stay. The staff were friendly and the room was ideal. There was a particluar chap serving at the bar who went out of his way to be helpful. He was soldiering on despite having a hernia, so I hope he's recovered!

Clean, friendly staff, Modern and well priced. Decent hotel and wish I had found it earlier. Only downside is internet is on cable only in the rooms and is £5 an hour or £10 for 24 hours...scandalous!!

Stayed for a few nights in January. Weather was very cold, hotel room was cozy and warm. Comfortable room. Location of hotel was good for shops, restaurants and football. Would definitely use again,. Plenty of choice at buffet breakfast set us up for the day.

Bad points: Found a cigarette under window sill and water pressure was really low. Breakfast was not included. Good Points: Near to local train station

Hotel was absolutely fantastic and made for a perfect New Years Day and night! Superb location - close to everything we wanted - ice skating at the Life Centre - El Torero Tapas Bar (would highly recommend) - Bars...Fantastic! The ONLY niggle I have with the hotel was the noise from the courtyard at 3am and a couple of people in the corridor. This […] is no fault of the hotels I suppose - however the gap under the room door seemed a bit large and let a lot of noise in! I was really looking forward to my stay in this hotel as I had heard lots of good reports but I don't think that it matches up to other hotels that dont cost as much to stay at. There was a fire alarm at 4am and there was no appology made from the staff apart from a white board in reception. Good locatiion. Great front desk. Over priced by double at least. Room very 70's. No ironing equipment supplied. Lousy for business traveller. Better of staying out in Jesmond or somewhere like at significantly better hotels and only a UKP10 taxi.

Being located very near to the centre of Newcastle it meant that many of its guest were out till the early hours of the morning, upon their return they were not aware that other guests my be asleep so bangging of doors and loud conversation, it is not helpful for sleep. In addition the hotel receptionist seemed to offer us only rooms without a view, […] something that we have encountered before when booking through third party reduced prices, an issue that hotels.com should take up with its room providers. ........Standard Don't be fooled. If my stay is anything to go buy, do not upgrade to a superior room. A small room, with a small telly, an out of date bathroom to name but a few. I wont be buying a superior room from this hotel chain again, that's for sure.

Located very close to the train station, Newcastle United's St James' Park and good pubs/restuarants; The hotel bar is open up to 5am which is great. This hotel has quality beds for a good night's sleep and parking is via an NCP facility. haveing stayed in the hotel i found the staff very frendly ,the location of the hotel is very central,its not a 5 ster hotel but that is reflected in the price,i plan to stay their on my next visit to newcastle.

The location is very convenient to the rail station. It is reasonably clean good value with full English breakfast. The only thing I found missing was face cloth or towel - a must have in the U.S. otherwise it is difficult to clean your face, but I guess this is typical in Europe.

Alright for the price however reception was a shambles when trying to check in. Although large groups were also checking in at the time the staff were not organised and choose to ignore other guests waiting for some 20 minutes to check in. very poor customer service

The only problem that I encountered was with Hotels.com which is out lined later in the review. As for the hotel everything was fine and we were well looked after.

GREAT LOCATION FOR GIGS BUT EXPECT BASIC ACCOMODATION. YOU NEED TO PAY FOR PARKING ACROSS THE ROAD APPROX £12 FOR 24HRS.

I stayed at the hotel on a Thursday night on a business trip and the area was surprisingly noisy. The hotel is located in a square with other tall buildings which appear to be apartments so any noise reverberates in the square (a problem if you're staying on the front of the hotel like I was). Also there is a small tunnel-like passageway coming on […] to the square, which again caused loud echoing, in which many different rowdy men came in groups and stood and shouted on many separate occassions ranging from 5pm when I arrived until the early hours of the morning. Regarding food there is no room service, you have to order your food and go and collect it from the restaurant on the groud floor. This service is available from 6pm. The restaurant and bar itself was jam-packed full of the same rowdy men. The hotel location was good as town was only 10 minutes away. The staff were okay and room was clean but I would only recommend staying here if you want to feel like you're staying in a football stadium with rowdy men shouting in to the early hours of the morning as you won't get much sleep. The hotel is located near the public transport facilities, the central station and shopping centre is only a walking distance, it also near one of Newcastle's main attraction "Center of Life" Just one train ride to The Coast where the beach is located. But Breakfast at the hotel could be better.

Well located to station and centre of city with very quiet and spacious rooms - very helpful and efficient staff and extremely generous buffet breakfast!
