Bo här ! 4 min med buss nr 2 från Plaza Popolo, Flamino, där börjar Rom city. Kalasbra frukost på balkong med utsikt över floden och Vatikanen på avstånd.

Best Western Hotel Astrid - Ett mycket trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Mysig frukostresturang. Flera bra resturanger i närheten där man kan hitta god mat för ett bra pris. Härligt att få uppleva en del av Rom som kändes riktigt italiensk bortom de värsta turistfällorna. Personalen på hotellet rekommenderade oss en trevlig trattoria "Mamma Mia". […] Nära till bussar och spårvagnar. Verkligen ett hotell som vi var mycket nöjda med. Läs mer

Had no hot water one day. Internet was constantly up amd down. Shower was poorly designed

When comparing the distances to sights from hotels that were right in the city this hotel was just as close , in not closer than some. The room was TINY even for Europes standards. Impecably clean though. It looked out over the Vatican but was on a very busy street. Felt like I was amongst the traffic. Would stay again but ask for a quiet room in the […] back and hopefully a little larger although we weren't in the room but to sleep so that wasn't THAT big of a deal.. The breakfast room is great and was good like they say in the other comments. Oh if you need to change money go to the bank that is at the end of the tram stop to the right of the square. Our plans were to go to the Stadium, which was perfect so we could walk! Only a trolley ride away from the spanish steps, shopping etc. The staff was very nice and helpful!! Only thing that was kinda alarming was the "bed bug traps" Yikes!

Although the French room was small was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast and view from the 5th floor. Great location to all main areas and close to trams and bus terminus. Also 10mins walk to the Stadio Olimpico.

Comfortable and clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, the location is not in the centre but the hotel is well served by a nearby tram which takes you directly to the metro and brings you within walking distance of many of the historic sites. No problems here.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and very well appointed rooms not far from line that can take you all over Rome. I would definitely stay here again!

Our room was quite small. We could barely walk around the queen-sized bed. But we soon got used to the close quarters and managed just fine. The bed was very comfortable with padded headboard and good bedside lighting. The room was cool and quiet--except for some early evening drumming we were told came from a nearby fitness center. Our windows looked […] out onto an air shaft shared with a neighboring apartment building--made for a fun, "Rear Window" effect. The room was spotlessly clean, but had a slight smell that we noticed for just a few seconds each time we entered. The staff was great--helped us chart bus and tram routes to our desired destinations (we hated the metro!) and arrange for transport to airport. Breakfast was lovely in a glassed -in room on the 5th floor with great views. For other meals we traveled into the city center only to discover late in our stay two nearby restaurants we liked a lot: Pirelli's on Fracassini and a tiny bistro on an alley behind the hotel. Don't miss the 2 Caravaggio paintings in Basilica di Santa Maria del Popolo. We'd definitely stay at Hotel Astrid again. Läs mer

The Astrid is a very nice place to stay in a quiet residential neighborhood. Situated across the street from the river, it is about 20 minutes from the Vatican by trolly. The outstanding feature of this hotel, aside from the usual amenities, is the rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served daily and where cocktails and food are served Monday-Saturday. […] The restaurant, which has 3 small balconies in addition to huge windows, commands a breathtaking view of the city, with St. Peter's dome taking center stage. Stayed one night before getting on a cruise and the night we returned. Location was ok to the sites if you don't mind walking and taking public transit. You must walk down the street to buy a bus ticket, get off and hop on the subway to get to most of the sites. If you are coming from/to the airport or Termini, the subways and buses are not luggage […] friendly, take a taxi to/from the hotel. Once you get the hang of the bus/subway, it's pretty easy and away from the hoards of tourist crowds. The rooms are small, but all the rooms are small in Europe. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and accomodating, since we got there before 10 AM on both days, they got us into a room. Beware they turn off the a/c during the winter starting in Oct. and we were sweltering in our room. The bathroom was ok, it was clean, no animals roaming around, and complimentary mini bar (water,juice, and coffee). They also serve a continental breakfast in the morning. Overall, a decent hotel, but would probably try something closer to a subway to eliminate the bus transit. Läs mer

The room was great, staff was wonderful, and there was a convenient spot nearby to catch a train or tram to where you needed to go. Oh, and the complimentary breakfasts were exactly what you needed to start the day! However, since the hotel was out of some sort of fixed rate zone...taxi fee from the airport was high.

This is a great hotel to stay in Rome. The hotel is not in the city centre but is very accessible - tram stop is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff was quite helpful. Location was 4-5 blocks from the nearest metro although the bus was available around the corner. Our room was small but it is Italy.

This is a nice hotel, quiet location north of the city center, in more of a residential area. You can walk a few blocks to a Metro stop or take a bus which picks up a couple of blocks from the hotel. Good breakfast on the terrace with great views of the city.

Great for the money. A little inconvenient, 2-3 blocks to bus. If you're a walker, no problem. Breakfast on the terrace was great! Rooms a little small but very nice and clean. Front desk very helpful. Free wi-fi connection in the room a big plus. Overall a very nice hotel.

This hotel was wonderful. I chose it after reading the reviews on hotels.com, which were all glowing. I was certainly glad I followed those recommendations because they were absolutely right. Our room had a balcony from which we could see the Tiber across the street. Service was outstanding; the staff went out of their way to help me make train reservations […] and to order in pizza the first night of our stay. We spoke no Italian and they were extremely helpful. The pizza place they connected us with even delivered beer! I stayed in this hotel 4 nights with my 16-year-old daughter and I was perfectly comfortable with her walking around the hotel by herself. Was pleasantly surprised that all items in minibar were free for the taking. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the room and the breakfast, which was served in a very lovely dining room terrace on the 4th floor. The last time I booked a Best Western was about 10 years ago for a trip to Niagara Falls - I walked in, looked at the room and checked in elsewhere! So you can imagine I was somewhat uncertain when forced to pay 5 times the usual room rate for this hotel in Rome due to the Champions League Final being played at the Olympic Stadium and every other normal […] 4-5 star hotel charging over £1000 for a decent room!! So, upon checking in, basic reception area, but the manager and reception staff were fantastic - providing help on local transport to all usual attractions, advice for the football game (the stadium is 10 mins walk away), local restaurants. The room was basic but clean (for a football trip what more do you need?!) Breakfast - continental style - was very good value for money and quite good quality, served on the roof terrace overlooking views of the river and Vatican City. Better than many a Westin or Intercontinental hotel breakfast in fact! The bar was good, relatively cheap, with typical Italian bar snacks available free of charge. All the staff were excellent, including the manager (a Jose Mourhino lookalike!). Good location - 8 mins on public transport to Vatican City; 15mins public transport to Colloseum, Trevi fountain etc. All in all, what a pleasant surprise, would recommend this hotel if you are not too worried about the luxuries provided by 5* hotels, but welcome good, honest, friendly service. Hotel Astrid is in a great location to see all the highlights in Rome. You get free breakfast on the 5th floor, with a view of the Vatican and more. Free items in the mini fridge. Free internet. There is an elevator. The staff could all speak English and were very helpful. The tv was a nice flat screen, but it was all in Italian, so...... no real use […] to us. The bathroom was nicely tiled. TUTTO OTTIMO IL PERSONALE ECCELLENTE CI TORNERò VOLENTIERI ALLA PROSSIMA GRAZIE

Siamo stati molto bene in questo hotel che a contrario di altri Best Western ha saputo mantenere lo stile del palazzo. Eravamo al terzo piano e le camere sembravano appena rinnovate. Molto piacevole la colazione sul terrazzo all'ultimo piano con vista della città. Ci torneremo di sicuro

Al principio no me gustó la ubicación. Llegamos por la estación del metro a la Plaza del Poppolo (Flaminio) y no teníamos conocimientro del Tranvía que te lleva y te deja a dos cuadras del hotel, por lo que la primera vez que llegamos caminamos muchas cuadras con las maletas para llegar al hotel. Después de la explicación del hotel todo fue muy sencillo. […] Desde la estación del metro de Flaminio te mueves muy fácil e igualmente desde la Plaza del Poppolo, caminas por toda la Vía Corso a los lugares más interesantes de Roma. Las habitaciones contienen lo necesario para un buen descanso. El desayuno es bueno y el edificio del hotel es bonito, con buena vista sobre la ciudad. El sector es seguro y cerca encuentras lugares para comer. Se debe tener en cuenta el horario del metro y del tranvía para tomar decisiones de desplazamientos. Kamer was klein maar wel schoon. Kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Als je zou willen kun je elke dag nieuwe handdoeken krijgen. Ontbijt is wel ok. Er is geen bar in het hotel, maar in de buurt van het hotel bevinden zich een aantal restaurants en een pub. Het hotel bevindt zich ten noorden van de oude stad. Met een tram die pakweg 300m van het hotel […] stopt kun je voor weinig naar Piazza del Popolo (eindstation). Daar of de metro pakken of lekker de stad in wandelen. Tramkaartje is binnen 75 minuten na stempelen ook geldig in de metro. Läs mer

Et godt ældre solidt hotel, beliggende lidt fra centrum med lidt trafikstøj. Værelserne er ikke så store men pæne og rene. et godt sted til prisen.

Helppo tulla - raitiovaunu 2 Flaminion metroasemalta tulee lähelle. Siistit huoneet. Miellyttävä aamiaishuone katttokerroksessa - pari pientä ulkopöytääkin ja aamiainen on monipuolinen. Näkymät joen yli Pietarinkirkolle. Ilmainen netti käytössä. Hyvä etäisyys sekä Olympiastadionin suuntaan että Piazza del Popolon suuntaan. Vatikaaniinkiin pääsee helposti […] Flaminiosta tai raitiovaunulla Merenkulkuministeriön rakennuksen nurkalta, mikäli ei jaksa kävellä. Läs mer

Great location just 10-15 minutes walk from Piazza Del Popolo. The tram will take you there in just 5 minutes however, and from the piazza, you can easily go anywhere by metro or bus. The staff was incredibly helpful, and due to an unfortunate incident (in no way related to the hotel) we needed their assistance alot. Its a bit noisy at night, but after all the walking sleeping is no problem. Room is a bit small and shower sucks. But breakfest is wonderfull and tram connection to downtown is close by,.We can fully recommend this hotel.

Nous sommes allés a rome la semaine apres le 15 aout. Hotel vraiment tres classe, personnel de l hotel tres disponible, serviable, parlant anglais, francais. l'hotel est situé a 10 mn en tramway de la place del populus. Petit dejeuner tres copieux

Arrivée le premier jour, accueil remarquable par les hôtesses! La chambre était très propre et confortable. Juste un détail, elle était située à l'étage où il est autorisé de fumer alors que nous avions demandé non fumeur. Mais ça n'a pas trop dérangé finalement! Hotel très bien situé car à côté d'un arrêt de tramway qui amène rapidement au centre! Das Hotel liegt am nördlichen Rand des Zentrums. Die Strassenbahn ist in 2 min zu Fuß zu erreichen und fährt 2 Haltestellen bis zum Platz "Del Popollo". Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt auch kleine Wünsche. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Bad ist gefließt und war sauber, es wurde jedoch nicht jeden Tag der Fußboden gereinigt. Die Werbung […] mit der Minibar inclusive ist ein netter Gag:-), wenn man den Best Western Hotel Standart deutscher Hortels anlegt. In diesem Hotel besteht der Inhalt der Minibar aus 3 Flaschen Mineralwasser mit Gas und 3 Flaschen Mineralwasser ohne Gas. Aber besser als Nichts, zumal ein Rombesucher /Wanderer eh viel Wasser trinken sollte! Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist ein kleines aber total niedliches Bistro auf einem Hinterhof in der östlichen Parallelstrasse zur Via Donatello. Ein schild mit Gänsen weist den Weg. Pizzafans kommen in der Pizzaria "Del Vignola" in der Viale del Vignola ("gleich um die Ecke") voll auf ihre Kosten, ohne überteuerte Preise zu zahlen. Läs mer

Un hôtel très confortable, tous les services inclus (mini-bar, internet). Petit-déjeuner en terrasse très agréable. Facile d'accès avec un roma pass (pour prendre le bus qui remplace la ligne de tramway en travaux). Recommandé

Das Hotel liegt gut gelegen.Mit der Straßenbahn erreicht man nach drei Stationen die Metro,bzw. Piazza del Popolo.Die Zimmer sind klein,aber ausreichend und klimatisiert.Die Minibar ist inkl.
