Hotell Best Western Plus Danbury/Bethel - Bethel

A little tricky to find when you get off I-84. The road loops around and around. The hotel is exceptionally clean and quiet. The breakfast is adequate but nothing to write home about. Staff is helpful. We always stay here when traveling thorough the area. Would stay again.

Affordable, clean hotel with easy access to interstate. Friendly staff and a nice hot breakfast.

If I'm going to be in NY late I often break up the trip home to Boston by staying in the Danbury area overnight. This gets me out of NYC traffic before morning and shortens the trip home the next day. This hotel was clean and quiet and comfortable, so I got a good rest for the rest of the journey.

When I walked into my room, all the towels & toiletries were missing. The HVAC unit was erratic and noisy - didn't maintain a constant temperature. The toilet barely flushed and water came out of the shower head in a trickle. Maybe I just got a bad room, but I wouldn't risk it by staying here again!

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

We've stayed here multiple times and have found it to be reliably clean with good service. It's not the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed at and the bed is a little hard for my preference, but the free breakfast is good and sufficient and I trust that the service will be good and the room will be clean. The first room we got had standing water in the sink. We got second room. In the second room we looked all over for the thermostat to control the heat. That room had no thermostat. The bed was so comfy, I haven slept that good in a long time! I was warm and very comfortable. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

My husband and I arrived at 5 pm, checked in, and were given our cards. When we got to our room it was wide open and not cleaned. We went back to the desk and the mgr. apologized and went to find the maid. Apparently there was a shortage of help that day. We had somewhere to be and just wanted to freshen up after a 400 miles drive. After minutes passed […] the maid was found. I was offered the hotel public bathroom to use. However, I needed to go into my luggage to find my change of clothing. I opted to temporarily use the bathroom in our room with clean towels. THE MAID STAYED!! We kept bumping into each other in the room. Then she asked my husband if we wanted the bathroom cleaned!!!! We stayed here while passing through driving. It was a pleasant surprise. Reasonable rate for top notch room. It was very clean, newly renovated, had wireless internet (no password required). Seems to have good soundproofing. Quiet flush quiet close toilet, so did not hear neighbors flushing/slamming like you usually hear in hotels. Free bottle of water […] and breakfast bar is a nice touch. Good breakfast... nothing fancy but what you would expect in a hotel lobby. Just stayed overnight so didn't look around much, but there is free access to fitness facility next door which is very convenient if you're looking for that. Would definitely stay here again. After a mix up with check in the hotel was great, right off the main highway but couldn't hear it at all in the room. Room was very comfortable and would stay there again next time I am through the area. Breakfast was an 11 on a scale of 1-10 for a continental breakfast.
