Hotel Regina is a lovely boutique hotel with nice decor and is located just off Placa Catalunya which is the main square and is about 5 mins walk to Las Ramblas which is the main street in Barcelona. Ther room was nicely decorated however it was much too small for two people and felt claustophobic if you spent much time there. It is basically a single […] room where they have put a double bed into. Our window faced a wall and what looked like an air conditioning vent! There were loads of toiletries supplied and white bathrobes and slippers. There is a fridge full of alcohol and snacks however it doesn't chill the food (?!). There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The lift for some reason was like a sauna when you stepped into it...very uncomfortable. We got off to a bad start at the hotel as the person at reception who checked us in was so unfriendly and cold. I would not reccommend this hotel. There is a hotel next door called Hotel Pulizer which looks really fabulous, I would stay there if I was in Barcelona again. Läs mer

This hotel is very close to aerobus, so you can go straight from airport to everything, no taxi!! Staff spoke English and were very nice!

We chose this hotel due to the great reviews it has received on-line. The location is awesome, as it so near the Airport Bus, and also near Las Ramblas. Never did we feel unsafe, and we out rather late in the Placa Catalunya people-watching. The only complaint I would have would be regarding a front desk staffer...He seemed a bit overworked, and really […] was not the nicest when we tried to check in...And he really did not want to answer any of our questions.... This hotel is in an excellent location, private yet close to all the actions along La Rambla. The services provided were top class, the ambiance was great and the facilities were clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Barcelona !!!!

A nice good value hotel in a great central area. Pleasant rooms and good value. Nice breakfast and friendly service.

I've been to BCN10 times now, each time a bit different, this hotel was staffed with very helpfull people, nice rooms, and a great location. I'd reccomend it, oh as well as a decent rate for parking, well for Barcelona it was ok.

Fantastic location right in the centre of things (just off Plaza Catalunya, close to the Aerobus stop) but no noise from outside/street. Quality of hotel decor, facilities, bar, etc. was outstanding, beds very comfortable, nice supply of toiletries and bathrobes/slippers, and rooms were a really good size (easily large enough for two people to share). […] The only drawback is the noise from other guests, as the walls seem to be paper thin and the doors make a lot of noise and let a lot of noise in. Close to the Ramblas and easy reach for the other highlights of a Barcelona stay. Although very close to the vibrant heart of this town, the position of the hotel means we had a very peaceful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Very central, nice place but bed toooo hard. Need to change them to memory foam o better!

Hotel Regina is extremely clean, convenient with a very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed there two nights before our cruise and will stay there every time we go to Barcelona. Vanessa is a wonderful staff person and will email you in advance of your stay if you request it. Walking distance to everything. This hotel is the cleanest one we have ever […] stayed in. I went to Barcelona (2-11 October 2009) and stayed at the Regina after reviewing many aspects such as location, comfort, proximity to transportation and other. Hot water, hardwood floors, sound comfort (doors/windows (floor to ceiling)) blocked the outside noise completely. One very important aspect for me was access to a Gym. Most hotels called a Gym […] a room with a treadmill and a bicycle. The hotel had a complimentary membership visit to the Holmes Gym which is about three blocks or so from the hotel and it is open 0700 – 2300 hrs. It is a full gym with pool, sauna, steam room, every weight machine you can imagine and enough cardio equipment so you will never have to wait. The hotel has a nice bar area with an extraordinary bartender. The business/computer room was accessible (I never used it) and other amenities that others may care about like a “starbucks” next to it. To tell you the truth with as many great café’s in the area I am not sure why anyone will bother with it but it is there. We really enjoyed our trip to Barcelona, Hotel Regina is in a great location, just off Cataluyna Square & about 3 minutes walk from the top of the Ramblas. It's conveinient to the main street for shops, restaurants etc but not noisy. The staff were very helpful, organising a taxi for us to the airport (about €25). The downside was the Bar/Lounge, […] really dull & expensive, no atmosphere at all, so we just had one drink and then headed off to the Ramblas. We just got back a few days ago from Barcelona and stayed at Hotel Regina. The location was perfect. It's located in the heart of Plaza Cataluna, with a few blocks to Paseo De Gracia, Gothic Quarter and La Rambla. I gave this hotel an average rating because the service was just average. We asked the front desk for addresses to a few "famous" restaurants, […] but they informed us that these restaurants are pretty famous and ALL taxi drivers know where they are located at. NOT TRUE. We had two mishaps with this and had to spend more Euros than needed on taxi fare. I'm 6 mos pregnant and need to have extra pillows so I can sleep comfortably at night. The room comes w/2 flat pillows. When I called down to reception to ask for extra pillows, they made us feel like it was such a problem. I had to explain to them my situation, and they still were hesitant about giving us extra pillows. If the hotel would concentrate on customer service, maybe their review will be better. Läs mer

My family of four stayed at the Hotel Regina for two nights recently. We had a family room and it was quite comfortable for all of us and our luggage. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was not overly friendly but seemed to answer all of our questions. The location couldn't have been better as you were able to walk to most everything. The room was very comfortable quiet and clean. We loved the fact that we had a refrigerator in our room and a small grocery store across the street.

This is a really nice hotel with a very modern feel. The whole city seems to be filled with contradictions between historic and modern architecture and this hotel is no different. An old exterior with a modern boutique hotel inside. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. I believe we were in Superior rooms because they didn't have a queen configuration […] available. Positives: Location, staff, decor, comfort. Negatives: Almost no sound deadening through your door. The German's down the hall that came in at 3am laughing and slamming doors did not make for a fun way to wake up. We were able to check in early and they stored our bags...still, our rooms were ready around 10:00 which was fantastic. Läs mer

the ratea were a little high but the room size was fantastic. if you have small children, bring along a dvd player because the hotel dose not provide enough english speaking chanels.

It was a good hotel. There was a party from another hotel on the third night of our stay and at our request they switched our room the next day from an "inner" room with a window on an air vent to a room with a view of the street that was further away from the other hotel. The first room was acceptable; the second was very pleasant.

Modern, contemporary updated hotel. Room was small and in the back. Larger rooms appeared to be very nice but do not know if price significanly higher. Small windows. Noise from room doors that had to be slammed to close. Clean room. Nice hotel staff. Good free internet service in the lobby. Good free use of health club located nearby. We had a nice one night stay at the Hotel Regina, just a few short minutes from Las Ramblas. The hotel was comfortable and cozy, the staff attentive and English speaking. Our room was very quiet and the bed was huge. Had a great shower and it was an easy walk to catch the Aerobus to the airport in the morning. I would stay there again.

This hotel is situated in an ideal spot. Really central, convenient to the main metros, very safe and within walking distance to restaurants and sights, but still far enough away from the noise and crowds of La Ramblas at night. The lobby was very charming, and the hotel, including the room was immaculate. I will say the room I stayed in was indeed […] a little on the small side, with not a lot of room on the foot side on the bed from the wall. The size of the room is more comparable to what you would find within this budget in New York or London. There was a TV mounted on the wall up high so one could comfortably view from the bed. The bathroom, again on the small side but immaculate with a lovely newly renovated shower and fixtures. There was also a wardrobe and a desk, a small balcony which looked over a quiet (but safe) street. And a half fridge with mini bar, but some room to store your own beverages. I would definitley recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay for a week or less in Barcelona and want to be very central. Any longer and you'd probably want to opt for something slightly more spacious, or perhaps an apartment rental. Läs mer

Vi havde et dejligt ophold i Barcelona. Hotel Regina ligger perfekt centralt for mange seværdigheder med masser af restauranter og forretninger i gå afstand. Selve værelset til 2 voksne og 2 børn er pænt men pladsen er for trang.

Vi var to store og to små som bodde på hotellet i tre netter. Flott rom,bra service, sentral beliggenhet. Ingen ting å klage på! Anbefales for alle!

호텔의 위치는 정말 좋습니다. 다만 건물이 오래되서 그런지는 몰라도 호텔의 층간 소음이 전혀 방음이 되지 않습니다. 바닥을 밟을때마다 삐걱 거리는 소리와 흔들거리는 느낌도 많이 들고요.

A localização é excelente, mas os quartos são muito simples para um hotel 4 estrelas. É um hotel antigo que está precisando de uma reforma.

Familien på 4 bodde kun en natt på hotellet denne gangen på gjennomreise fra opphold på Costa Brava kysten og retur til Norge. Vi hadde familierom med god plass. Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet i nærheten av offentlig kommunikasjon til flyplass, seightseeing busser og er bare en rusletur unna de nydelige smugene i gamlebyen og Ramblaen. Jeg har nå bodd to ganger på Hotel Regina og er like fornøyd. Hotellet ligger i en sidegate fra Placa Catalunya, på toppen av La Rambla. Dermed ligger du midt i smørøyet, i den gamle bydelen i Barcelona - men langt nok borte fra La Rambla´s kvelds "støy". Hotellet holder høy standard, med stilrene rom og en varm, koselig bar/lounge. Servicen vil jeg […] heller ikke klage på. Nattåpen resepsjon, hyggelig og behjelpelig personale. Når det gjelder frokost spiste jeg her en morgen og ble nærmest satt ut over prisen, så neste gang bestiller jeg med frokost inkludert - det er ingen tvil om at det er her jeg parkerer kofferten min neste gang Barcelona står på agendaen! Hotellet ligger perfekt i midten af Barcelona, et stenkast fra Rambla, P-hus, metro og lufthavnsbusser. Vi en familie med teenagerbørn satte pris på det store familieværelse med rigtig god plads. Kan helt sikkert anbefales.

La única pega es la TV, los canales están desperdigados , sin orden ni concierto en tropecientos números, sin tener una plantilla de númeración y nombre del canal. Tampoco estabán todos los canales TDT que se pueden visionar en BCN Una locura encontrar el canal deseado. No hay más remedio que coger hoja y boligrafo y hacerte una lista tú mismo.
