"Very nice hotel for what we were looking for!"
Our stay at Best Western was very nice and perfect for our one night stay. The wirlpool in the bathroom worked great and we got to enjoy the hot tub and sauna downstairs as well. "No hot water and Mold"
It was horrible. We had no hot water for 2 days. There was mold around the bathtub. We were awoke at 7am to a loud squealing noise in the pipes that lasted for hours. The jacuzzi shot out black chunks when turned on.Verifierad gästrecension

"Clean, convenient location"
The jacuzzi tub would not hold water for any significant period of time which was my primary reason for choosing this hotel money...disappointing! There was a whole family with little kids next door that woke us up at the crack of dawn. I could hear them quite well, so maybe the walls are a bit thin. On the upside, the hotel has GREAT highway access, […] a restaurant in the same parking lot, and was close enough to Devil's Lake to make me consider booking it again in order to avoid the shady looking motels near the lake. "Not a good choice."
This hotel is definitely showing its years. The beds were way too soft. The bathroom was a handicapped version with the toilet paper dispenser hid way below the counter. "They stay was wonderful, economical, well located"
The hotel was not a surprise as I had read good reviews about it here beforehand. But really experienceing what was reviewed is something else. The hotel was easy to locate on the GPS. We were placed on a room in the 1st floor. The room was really clean and the bed linen was clean. The bathroom and dressing area was quite spacious and there was even […] place to keep your luggage. The fridge and microwave helped us store some take out food we brought back into the hotel room. The breakfast was the strogest highlight of our stay. Boiled eggs, waffles, toast, danish, coffee and juice was more than enough to start the day. The hotel is located very near to the highway and going to Dells is really quick and saves gas being on the highway. Overall we loved the hotel amenities and the reasonable price we booked it for. "Not a bad place"
If you're looking for someplace that is safe, clean, and professional, this is the place. We were here for a funeral, and really all we wanted was somewhere that wasn't terribly ghetto. "Best Western in Portage, WI - Quality Hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for 5 days, I would say the overall impression of the hotel was good. The rooms were quite, the hotel service was above average, the hotel in general and our room was well maintained and clean. Although the hotel did not have a restaurant, they did provide a free breakfast, a restaurant was next door to it and there were plenty […] of food choices within a mile of the hotel. The indoor pool was nice. There is a gym, but it only had a few pieces of exercise equipment. The hotel was clean however it was a very busy night. The hotel was packed with kids in the pool. The hotel allegedly ran out of towels in the entire hotel which is absurd. Had no problems with check in. The room was nicely decorated & clean. However, we were stuck close the elevator and heard it running at all hours of the night. The water in our shower made a squealing noise. While we were there they had a banquet in which they set the buffet up in the hallway that lead to the pool area. We skiied at nearby Cascade Mountain and stayed at this inn. The breakfast included waffles, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, cereal, apples and plenty of good coffee. The hotel is further from the Dells than advertised. It took almost 30 minutes to travel there. There is nothing of interest around hotel. The hotel was not much cheaper than those in Wisconsin Dells and does not offer any incentives for Dells attractions.
