My personal rating of the hotel 3*. The positive side is Free WiFi available at rooms. The hotel is close to metro station which makes easy to access to anywhere in the city. Cab from airport 600 Kc. Hotel located on edge of New Town within 20" - 30" walk to the Old Town tourist sites and 5 minutes from the Karlovo náměstí metro site on the yellow (B) line. Good value for the rooms which include a buffet breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean the staff were polite and the breakfasts were very good. I liked the location vey quiet but within half an hours walk of all the main sites. Breakfast is included. It's not far from the metro stop. The staff are really friendly and the room is clean. The only problem that I had was some noisy guests down the hall that were preventing me from sleeping. I contacted the front desk and they took care of it immediately.

The Location was excellent in that it was convenient to the metro and Trams running along the river and to the historic district. There is only a small BW plaque on the building so easy to walk by. The clerk was indifferent but later on that evening I called down for 2 extra pillows and the next clerk was very accomodating. Excellent price. The hotel is a short metro ride from the train station. DON'T take a taxi. Learn the metro and tram systems and it is wonderful. Great breakfast, free PC in the lobby, outstanding staff and clean rooms. What more could you ask for? Location? Excellent location near the river,trams and metro.Secondary glazing reduced traffic noise to zero but air con did not seem efficient.As a result we had to open a window at night to cool down as we were there during a very hot spell Otherwise could not fault this hotel.Staff are congenial,speak english and were never looking out for tipping. This was a great hotel. It was near all of the sights. You just gotta know how to navigate Prague. 5 great restaurants in within 5 blocks. Metro, Tram, and bus two blocks away. Secure parking, block away. True, some people didn't like that the restaurant and bar closed early, but there is a great outside sitting are at the end of the block. The staff […] was very friendly and helpful. I speak Czech which made it so much more easier, but staff does speak english, and they have everything in English, as well as in other languages. Rooms were big, the doubles. We had the two adjoining ones, and the look out over Nove Mesto was awesome. It was easy to book a room 2 weeks ahead and very reasonable. The Best Western City Moran Hotel advertise as a four star hotel, but realy it is a three star hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Communications in English was perfect. Hotel location is good but I would say a 25-30 mins walk to Charles Bridge. The room I booked was a deluxe double bedroom but I can hardly say it was a deluxe room, I have stayed […] at Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, Hotel Arts of Barcelona, Tousserok of Mauritius, so I know when it comes to deluxe these hotels means deluxe. The hotel staff were courteous and very competent. They did a great job of answering all or our questions even though we don't speak any Czech. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The daily breakfast that was included in the price included eggs, meat, breads and pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juice and coffee and was attractively presented. […] The only negative was the high price of phone calls and no pay phone in the hotel to help avoid those charges. Vi er en familie på 5 som tilbragte 3 døgn i påsken 2012 på hotellet. Vi var meget begejstrede over dette hyggelige hotel. Værelserne og badeværelset med badekar var pæne og rene og indbydende. Der var elkedel med kaffe og the på værelset, samt et lille køleskab og tv. Udvalget i morgenmadsbuffen var fuldt ud tilfredsstillende og lokalet hygggeligt […] og pænt. I receptionen kunne vi lægge værdigenstande i en boks uden beregning, og en PC stod til fri afbenyttelse i receptionen. Vi parkerede i et parkeringshus 100 m fra hotellet, hvilket vi var helt trygge ved. Vi gik rundt til seværdighederne og det tog ca 15-20 min at gå til centrum og til karlsbroen. Virkelig hyggeligt hotel med service og værelse i top

Je recommande cet hôtel très bien situé on peut facilement tout visiter à pied, proche d'une station de métro.La chambre était confortable, propre. Nous y retournerons.A Prague et dans cet hôtel.

Bodde her 3 netter i forbindelse med juelfeiringen 2011. Fint hotell, med grei frokost og trivelig betjening. Fin gangavstand til gamlebyen, nær trikk og undergrund. Rommet var lite, men vi bodde i 6. etasje og hadde en nydelig utsikt mot slottet og St. Vitus katedralen. Sengene var gode, men dobbeltsengen var 2 enkeltsenger satt inntil hverandre.

Meget god service, helt okay frokost (du får tilogmed champagne til frokost hvis du vil!) og rene rom. Vi storkoste oss i Praha og anbefaler dette hotellet!

Aangenaam verblijf op loopafstand (20 minuten) van centrum van Praag. Met de metro in 3 haltes bij de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden. Goede service met uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met heerlijke verse broodjes. Aangezien het koud was in Praag was het erg fijn dat de kamer goed te verwarmen was. Ook goede bedden! voor de speciale prijs die wij ontvingen een zeer goed hotel met een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Afstand tot centrum = 1.5 km te voet net iets te ver maar de metro is om de hoek dus OK.

Als ich beim Hotel Moran ankam wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel ausgebucht sei und ich umgehend ins Hotel Elephant gebracht würde. Dies geschah auch unkompliziert und ich bezog das Ersatzhotel. Alles war in bester Ordnung und ich kann das Hotel Elephant nur empfehlen. Sauberkeit und Komfort des Zimmers waren sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zwar […] eher Bescheiden und kann darum ausgelassen werden. In der näheren Umgebung lässt sich leicht ein super Frühstück finden. Schade war nur, dass ich erst bei der Ankunft über die "Umbuchung" informiert wurde. Läs mer

The location of this hotel is perfect. And transportation is convenient. Breakfast was also good. If I go to Prague next time, I never hesitate to stay at the hotel.

Das Hotel liegt recht zentral, ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg zur Altstadt und den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, ist jedoch sehr ruhig und es gibt keinen Straßenlärm. Der großteil des Personals war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, mit wenigen Ausnahmen. Alle Fragen die wir hatten wurden zu unserer Zufriedenheit beantwortet, Sightseeingtours gebucht und Transfers […] arrangiert. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, daß die Klimaanlage ausgefallen sei, es wurde aber ein Ventilator gestellt und man hat uns als "Entschädigung" eine Flasche Wein auf's Zimmer gebracht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter. Läs mer

Gewon een goed stadshotel. Loopafstand tot het centrum ca. 25 min. Erg goed was de geruisarme airco, waardoor 's nachts de ramen dicht konden blijven en ook de straatzijde van het hotel met de tramlijn nauwelijks gehoord werd. Iets minder was het ontbijt met een beperkte broodkeuze, maar zeker voldoende. Het personeel is voor onze begrippen stug maar […] wel behulpzaam. Al met al is het hotel zeker een aanrader. Läs mer

clean and good breakfast. It's very close to the metro station and river. The problem is that my bed wasn't prepared when I came back at 6pm. And housekeepers went home. I can't believe it! If the receptionist didn't help me, I should sleep on the floor.

Goed hotel op goede afstand van het centrum. Ontbijt is goed, kamers zijn ruim en netjes.

Hotel très bien situé, très proche des monuments et du métro et tram. bon confort et très propre la chambre et le reste de l hotel. Petit dejeuner copieux dans belle salle de restaurant. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

L'hotel è vicino piazza Carlo, zona abbastanza centrale ma un po' più tranquilla per dormire. Il centro è raggiungibile anche a piedi, oppure con 2 fermate di metro. La fermata di tutti i tram principali è a 2 passi. Il bello del Best Western è una colazione ricca e con molta scelta, la pulizia e il fatto che direttamente in hotel potete trovare i biglietti […] dei mezzi pubblici e di molti spettacoli e iniziative culturali. On a quiet area, so no much traffic noise. Metro and tram stations are nearby. Easy to reach from airport: first bus #100 and then metro line B (yellow). It takes around 45 mins and you just have to walk from metro to hotel 300 meters. Clean room and bathroom. Nothing "extra". Couldn't totally darken the room, because curtains were 20 cm too short […] :) I could stay again. Läs mer

Hôtel tout confort. Grandes chambres lumineuses. Accueil et service impeccable. A 100 métres du Danube et du metro, à 10 minutes à pied du centre touristique. 4 étoiles méritées, je recommande.
