good location, great friendly staff, comfortable air conditioned rooms, gym and sauna and wifi free of charge and great breakfast choices...

All around excellent especially the helpful and professional staff.

We enjoyed our 1.5 day stay very much. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location is right around the corner from a great cafe, chocolate shops and the Grand Plazza. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast included in our room price as well. We will definitely return.

My wife and I visited five cities in Europe this summer and the Scandic Place was one of our favorite stays. The hotel is clean and comfortable. the room is not large, but sufficient. The hotel room, like the hotel, was extremely clean and the location is There was free, good and strong coffee in the lobby 24/7. My only complaints are our room was right off the elevator shaft, so it was noisy a bit at night. Also, the room was stuffy and hot and the window (opening onto the elvevator shaft) as rigged so you could only open it a […] few inches. We later discovered the room DID have airconditioning, but it was very different set up from what you are used to in the U.S. so we didn't recognize that. Really good hotel. Spacious, clean, comfortable room and really good staff. Decent breakfast and fantastic location - just minutes from centraal station and minutes from grand place.

Really good spot - close to Grand Place and Centraal station for day trips. Lots of great restaurants and attractions nearby. Rooms clean and tidy and staff pleasant.

Despite my room was tiny and with the window looking directly at the glass lift, everything was ok and comfortable, except there was no hot water, which I did find very disappointing (I tried to shower at night and in the morning, there was no improvement).

This hotel was in a great location, just a couple of blocks from the central station and Grand Place. I spent 3 days in Brussels on vacation, and I walked all over the Lower and Upper Town areas, never needing public transportation. Great location, only 5 minutes walk from Brussels Central railway station and a few more to the Grand Place via the St Hubbert Galleries, helpful staff, very good buffet breakfast included, free wifi, very comfortable bed and good hot bath. I stayed at Scandic for a total of 3 nights while I was in Brussels, another 2 nights from 2-4 April. The location is good! I found that if you walk via the short cut from Brussels Central station to Scandic Grand Place…NOT past Le Meridian (cobbled streets that way).. It’s a short walk away… It’s a smooth walk without having to lug your heavy luggage […] up and down slopes. I thought it was value for money for the location! I am a solo female with huge luggages, but I found the route to Brussels Central station easy! It is also convenient to Métro de Bruxelles… Gare Centrale!! The breakfast served was only so-so and the same for all days. Abit boring and not that big a spread, but still delicious and ample for a morning start! Just don’t go expecting much. The room I was given on the 1st night, was on the topmost flr – 5th floor with a very very small and high window that I could not look out of. Abit clastrophobic… but if you don’t mind and only want to rest your head for a night, sure! For the 2nd stay, I requested for a room with a bigger window... and the Scandic Front desk, promptly arranged that for me. I got one on the 2nd floor facing the main street. It’s abit noisy and you can still hear some of the commotion from the outside although the windows are double layered! Buses passing by and noises from people who are out for the night… If you are a heavy sleeper like me, no problem at all! If you are a light sleeper, request for the rooms facing the inside of the hotel… But overall, I loved the hotel for the location and price! Läs mer

Nice, clean, good services, free internet, best location

Only a 5 minute walk from the Central Train Station and only steps from dozens of restaurents and sights in the historic part of the city. Though our stay was a short one, we were able to enjoy many of the sights the city has to offer. The hotel exceeded our expectations and everyone went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable for our two daughters, […] ages 8 and 10. This was an excellent hotel for the room rate we paid. Great location to both Central Station and the grand place. Helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The gym and sauna was an added bonus.

Railway station just a 5 min walk to this hotel. This station takes to to and from the airport which is great if you have lots of bags. All the attractions in the city can be reached on foot with ease. Bars and restarants are all close by in the grand plas area

Very helpful front desk staff. I arrived earlier than the check in time and since my room was already available, they let me check in early. They also were very helpful with assisting with finding an ATM, finding the shuttle bus to Charleroi airport, and even finding an electronics store when my camera battery decided to quit. The hotel also has breakfast […] included, which consisted of croissants, cereal, meats and cheeses, coffee and juice. The room was very clean and wifi is free. The location was superb as well. Very close to the Grand Place, downtown, and the museums. Lots of restaurants around as well. Läs mer

During my stay at the Scandic the room was extremely comfortable and clean. The service provided by hotel staff was fantastic. Food was exceptional. Excellenty gym and sauna facilities. I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

Good looking hotel, right near the Galleries of Saint-Hubert, and close to St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral, and several other museums, including the big Royal Museums of Fine Arts. Though only several minutes from the loud Rue des Bouchers and Grand Place, the street is very quiet. The complimentary buffet breakfast is conveniently served for several […] hours. The two best things about this hotel are the complimentary wireless internet (which can be used straight from the room) and sauna, which you can generally have all to yourself due to underuse. The only thing I found slightly unpleasant about this hotel is the overselling of its "environmentally-friendly" angle, which I wouldn't recomment the managers to ease-off a bit. We stayed four nights in July 2009, in a room which faced into a small central atrium, making the "cosy" room somewhat dark. Nevertheless, it was comfortable (air conditioned and a large bathroom), and very convenient for the central train station and the Grand Place, both less than five minutes walk away. Denne gangen var renholdet dessverre ikke godt nok (hår på badet, støv i rommet), rommet var nedslitt og burde vært oppgradert. Rommet (døra) var ikke godt nok lydisolert mot gangen, da jeg voknet på natten av bråk i gangen.

O hotel e bem localizado e tem um pequeno shop 24h que e conveniente. Entretanto o banheiro cheira mal (odor dos ralos da banheira e pia), o local de banho muito escorregadio, as toalhas dão a impressão de terem sido mal lavadas e o sistema de arrefecimento muito barulhento. Concluindo, apesar da vantagem da localização eu não recomendaria o hotel.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt i brussel. Ved tanke på kort gåavstand til Central Station og Grand Place var det midt i blinken. Det var heller ikke lange vegen til shopping-gaten i Brussel heller. Hotellpersonalet var svært hyggelig og hjelpsomme. De snakket godt engelsk og hadde svar på det meste. Anbefaler dette hotellet.

Rommet vendte inn mot innvendig atrium så det var ikke mulig å få frisk luft. Hadde opp vinduet, men heisen knirket hver gang heisdøren åpnet seg og det forstyrret. Var ventilasjonsanlegg på rommet, men når det sto på fullt (det måtte det for å få kjøling), så bråket det veldig mye.

Attention de demander une chambre coté patio sinon risque de ne pas dormir de la nuit dû à une boite de nuit se trouvant dans la rue.
