Vi var två vuxna och två större barn som bokat ett 4-bäddsrum. Vi fick ett rymligt rum med stort marmorinrett badrum med både bidé samt kombinerat jacuzzibadkar och massagedusch. Det fanns visseligen både små myror och någon typ av insekter, men inte särskilt störande. Bekväma sängar (jag är kräsen ;-) ), städningen bra, hjälpsam och engelsktalande […] personal i receptionen. Vi bodde mot gatan nästan högst upp så trafikbullret var inte så påträngande för oss, vilket det eventuellt kan tänkas bli om man bor längre ner. Bra fukost med yoghurt, flingor, äggröra & bacon. Ibland fanns också frukt. Ost, samlami och skinka som pålägg samt sylt/marmelad. På brödfronten kanske lite dåligt utbud (2 - 3 sorter), speciellt om man jämför med bordet med söta bröd där det fanns 8 - 9 sorter att välja mellan. Bussar till stadskärnan och många turistattraktioner precis utanför hotellet, samt biljettautomat. I kvarteren runtom (både precis bakom hotellet samt lite söder om Porta Pia) finns många mycket bra och prisvärda kvarterskrogar. Wi-fi fungerande inte i vårt rum, men i receptionens närhet. Mycket snyggt och trevligt hotell. Ligger precis utanför stadskärnan, känns som att man är längre från staden än var man faktiskt är. Tar ca. 20 min att gå ner till centrum, så läget är riktigt bra. Fint bra hotell och mycket prisvärt. Ligger i ett lugnt kvarter och ca 2-3 km från Colleseum. En hel del restauranger runt omkring. Frukost helt ok med tanke på priset och vänlig personal. Kan lätt rekommendera detta till andra!

Ett jättetrevligt rent och fräscht hotell med sin speciella inredning med marmor, guld och kristallkronor. Vi fick ett stort och ljust, rent och fräscht rum i samma stil som övriga hotellet, bekväma sängar! Personalen serviceminded och hjälpsam. Den italienska frukosten övrträffade våra förväntningar, här fanns både grovt bröd, äggröra, bacon och flera […] olika pålägg. Hotellet ligger inte mitt i smeten vilket var bra för annars hade vi aldrig kommit till dessa prisvärda och mysiga kvarterskrogar där det serverades både fisk och kött. En 15 minuters promenad så var vi mitt i centrum med alla sevärdheter. Föredrar man bussen så finns flera alternativ precis utanför dörren. Bra hotel till rätt pris. Bra frukost, bra läge och buss utanför dörren, gångavstånd till centrum. Hjälpsam personal. Är knappast ett fyrstjärnigt hotel utan snarare 3+.

Om du bara behöver en säng att sova i under din vistelse i Rom är det här hotellet ok. Förstår inte hur det här kan räknas som ett fyrstjärningt hotell, känns mer som ett vandrarhem. Frukosten var verkligen inte god!

Hotellets standard var med hänsyn till priset riktigt dålig. Vi placerades i ett rum som var så litet att det inte gick att öppna dörren helt - den slog mot sängen som tog upp hela rummet. Detta framgick inte av någon av bilderna på hotellets hemsida i samband med vår beställning. Rummet var gammalt och luktade illa. Väggarna var klädda i tyg och på […] sängen låg ett uråldrigt överkast.... Vi hade endast en liten garderob med tre galgar till vårt förfogande och ingen hall. Rummet bestod i princip BARA av en säng och en liten TV. Frukostbufféen bestod av gammalt, torrt bröd och kakor. Läget var dock OK. Bra hotell med bra läge inte mitt i smeten men med busshållplats precis utanför. Sköna sängar. Trafik utanför så ta med öronproppar. Bra frukostbuffé. Många små bra trattorier i kvarteren bakom hotellet. Bra Pizza på Pizza Rustica runt hörnet.

Ett bra hotell som ligger några hållplatser från Termini. Bussen stannar precis utanför hotellet och området i sig har en hel del genuina italienska krogar som erbjuder mycket bra mat till bra peng. Hotellet är kanon bra och riktgit mysigt. Rummen är dock små men i övrigt mycket bra.

Location ok, short walk to Termini and central parts of towm. The beds and pillows need to be replaced, comfort very much below pair.

Hotel was located north of the City and had a bus stop right outside with different buses going past frequently to various tourist sights. If you want to walk its about 15 - 20 minutes walk to the sights and as Rome is such a lovely City it is nice to walk. Check in was quick, all staff were polite and very helpful, the room was clean, very nicely decorated, […] tidy, comfortable and bathroom was very nice, clean, always hot water - only slight niggle was the location of the room inside the hotel meant that there wasn't much natural light coming into the room, plenty of lights though. The wifi connection was not good, so if wifi is a necessity, this is not the place to stay. It worked well for shorter periods, but kept falling off.

Good services, kind staff and clean rooms. The breakdfast is good. The bed was a bit hard and the cover was miserable.. heh... very old. They should think more beds.. it is the main thing we need hotel for sleeping. Anyway... very good hotel.

We booked a Superior room and were really happy to stay in room 534 it had 2 King Size comfy beds, mini bar, small walk in dressing room and desk area.. I had a single room. Location is good. A bus stop right in front of hotel which is around 2 stops from Roma Termini. The smallest room I have ever stayed. Bathroom had a stench probably due to bad ventillation. Shower enclosure was so cramped up I could not bend to touch my legs. There was no hot water. The hotel buiding is quite old and hence it has […] some problems. The hotel is quite aesthetically decorated. Service and staff were good. Hotels.com pre paid room rate did not include an extra 6 euros for city room tax. Which started the beginning of 2011, the hotel wanted to collect during checkout time.

Conviniente location for buses stop that will take you almost everywhere to touristic attractions. Hotel was clean and neat. Friendly staff. Great breakfast, just gets a little crowded. Surprinsly clean and smelling good for being an old building. Could only freshen bed sheets a little more, but we love it!

When the concierge opened the door of our room it was damp, smelly and unbelievable. The bathroom fixtures used to be gold ages ago, now they were all scratched, and worse than that the water would barely come out of the faucets. The shower was one of the cheap ones you can find better versions of it in motel 6 or alike...Can not believe how they can […] claim 4 starts, while the quality of the room was next to zero star. The hotel is walking distance to the central train station in a quiet neighborhood. The property is well maintained, clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was a disappointment. The wireless internet (free) did not work. There were dirty towels in the room when we checked in. the shower did not drain properly, you could not turn the water fully on. There was no safe in the room. The smoke detector was covered with a red plastic cap. There was no emergency exit plan posted, I still don't know […] where the stairs are located. Breakfast was to start at 7 AM but was not ready until 7:15 AM (important when you have a plane to catch). The breakfast was on the lower end of quality. The male front desk staff (three of them) were perfunctory. Each time there was a question they gave the distinct we were bothering them. If you like aggressive gilt and bordello brocade (and I do) The Hotel Turner is an excellent choice. It's clearly a hotel that has seen better days, but the rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, the towels fluffy and the decor fabulous. Don't expect the wifi to, you know, "work." Turner hotel was a lot less nice than I'd hoped it would be. It looked really good for the price when I booked. However: - there were bugs in the bed! I acquired about ten pretty big and conspicuous insect bites in bed over two days. Three days on they're still there and painful to the touch. Yeah. - The internet was almost non-existent. There was […] a pretty cumbersome username/password scheme to access the wireless, but the big problem really is that the connection speed was worthless, (and the connection kept dropping) even to check email. Forget about anything more bandwidth intensive. - The location: it's not too bad, but you should be aware that this place is at the north/east edge of central Rome where all the sites are. From it to Palatine or the Colosseum (southern edge) is about 3 km, while St. Peters or the Vatican museum (eastern edge) are a bit more than 5 km away. Mind you, the walks involved are quite pleasant and take you through the heart of Rome, so if you enjoy walking it's a perfectly adequate place to stay. Still, if you prefer being more central you should pick something else. - The good: the rooms actually do look nice. Marble and gilded panels and such. The breakfast is sumptuous. I was not amused by the Turner hotel at all. Yes, the location is not bad, but it could be better. Yes, it has free internet, but it can be quite moody and it's on and off. The staff is certainly friendly but when one is paying for four star service one does not expect a room that can be generously described as an elegantly decorated cupboard. The hotel was certainly well priced. The room had the basics and was clean. I was disappointed that the promised WiFi did not work in my room. To their credit the person at the desk had a bellman walk me to a few other rooms to check - and was willing to move me if one was better - but none was. We we're delayed getting a flight out of Rome and needed to stay an extra night. Turner Hotel Rome was an easy solution close to the train and very affordable. Enough that we had the time and Euro left over for a nice dinner and even better, a last minute ticket at the Borghese Galleries, plan ahead and don't miss this site! The Turner was pleasant […] but may be suffering economically. The room was clean but not as sparkling as accustomed in Sicily BnBs. An earlier review of the Turner noted a remarkable hearty European breakfast. I was satisfied but fresh fruit was substituted by fruit cocktail from a can, juice was from concentrate, and pastries were not quite fresh. Recommended but not to enhance a Roman holiday. Läs mer

I stayed at the Turner for 4 nights when I was trvelling in Rome by myself and I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me a map and a list of the buses that would get me to all the important sites. I stayed in a single room that was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!! It was easy to get into […] the heart of the city and near all the tourist attractions using one of two buses that stopped a 30 second walk from the hotel. This by far has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. In all my years of travel, I never had a negative experience before until I coming across this one. This was not a 4 star hotel except for maybe the wallpaper. We had 3 rooms. We had to change our rooms because the air conditioning was not working. We moved but the room was hardly better. The other 2 rooms were hot, hot, hot. We were very disappointed with the 4 star rating.

Good value for money, old style but charming and convenient location with friendly staff- only the AC could have been better!

I enjoyed my stay here. It was the best breakfast I had in any of my hotels in which I stayed in Italy. The customer service was excellent. I would have stayed another night if I hadn't of had a reservation elsewhere.

Just back from 4 nights at the Turner which we thoroughly enjoyed. Chandeliers and silk covered walls give a period feel to the bedrooms, whilst marble, mirrors and gilt adorn the dining rooms. When there is so much history to enjoy in Rome we liked the historical style of the Turner, plus the fabulous memory foam beds ensure a good night's sleep after […] a long day sightseeing. Our first night was in a room looking out to a ventilation shaft - not ideal - but we were able to move the following day (confirm you have an outside window if that is important to you). Staff were helpful. They provided hot water and milk when we came back at tea time but I'd recommend taking a kettle. Buffet style breakfasts catered for all tastes. Buses stop outside (direct routes to the Colosseum and St Peter's, plus others)or its a 15-20 min walk to the Termini. Hotel is undergoing some redecoration work to public areas but this didn't cause us any problems. There are a few eating places locally - the Giggetto was excellent. Fresh pizzas (and other dishes) in a non-touristy restaurant, with better prices than the city centre. Rome is a fabulous city and we are determined to go back - having thrown our coins in the Trevi Fountain we should make it and we would happily stay at the Turner Hotel again. The hotel or at least my room was in a state of disrepair, and very dirty with faded and worn wall coverings with holes in the Taffeta, and also worn furniture, dirty bathroom walls and floors, shower door fell apart. I had a "YUCKY" feeling all the time I was there. I took pictures to prove it.

The Turner Hotel is in a good location, two stops on the 90 bus from Termini station and has good reasonable local restaurants and bars. The room we requested was a twin room but it was a double we asked to have this changed and the manager was a bit unhelpful at first but relented and changed it to a twin. Hotel Turner has free wireless internet. The hotel location is acceptable (within 2 bus stops to Roma Terminal - about 10 mins), not a bad starting point to local attractions. The hotel room is small and looks dated with wall cushions/wallpapers, the bathroom was tiny and close to unbearable. Generelt levede Hotellet op til vores forventninger med undtagelse af morgenmadsbuffeten, der var lidt for "billig", hvor kvaliteten af kaffen, brøddet og kagerne var dårligere end hvad man kan forvente af et 4-stjerners hotel.
