Fresha rum Trevlig personal Skaplig frukost ingick Underbart mathak eller matkaffe intill öppet 24 tim med underbart krubb. Bra pris och återvänder dit själv när jag är i Austin nästa gång !!

"Average budget hotel close to city center"
Betygsatt av Magnus F från "Stockholm" den sep 19, 2011I booked the most cheap room on a special deal. Probably got the most poor room they have for this price. This hotel is average but has good value for the location. Other hotel on walking distance from center are more expensive. The staff working are friendly and the rooms are big with fairly good beds, big kitchen area, really big refrigerator. It is very easy to get to the hotel with the car. First night I got a room with an air condition with high noise vibration sound. The hotel was full so there was no possibility to change room. Not a big disaster - I could sleep OK and next day I got a new room. The hotel started to work on fixing the AC directly so I believe this was just bad luck. The new room was silent and good but there was ants in the bathroom and also some other big insect when I got home at night. Nothing in the room itself though. Last night and I did not want to mess and change room again. No problem from this. The hotel is just on the other side of the bridge from city center. The "bat bridge" is less than 5 minutes walking away. Easy to have a look at 10 thousands of bats flying out in the evening and then go out. If you like the music scene it is 20-30 minutes to walk (or 5 minutes with cab for ~$5) across the bridge up to 6th street and surrounding areas with lots of music bars. I would consider this hotel again if I couldn't find a really good deal with the hotels on the other side of the river. I would however try to get a room not on the bottom floor and maybe pay a few extra dollar to get away from the cheapest rooms.

Hotellet var bra och hade trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Inuti hotellet var det enda negativa att det stod en illaluktande soptunna i samma rum som ismaskinen. The hotel was right across the street from the Austin Convention Center, and a very close walk to 6th Street & other great stuff downtown so it was perfect for an overnight stay in Austin. The beds were slightly firm for my taste, but otherwise everything was wonderful! "Great Hotel"
Everything about the hotel was great. It was in a great location, the concierge and front desk were very helpful and informative, and the room was awesome. My only complaint is that the valet took kind of a long time and a couple of the guys were rude and didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. That being said I would definitely stay there […] again, but I would park the car myself instead of paying $30 to wait 20 minutes for my car and have to explain to the valet how to unlock the doors and tell him how to honk the horn. Hilton have reputation for excellent service. Front Desk provided little if any relief from loud disturbances from 11:30 at night until 3:30 am. "Missed wake-up call"
The hotel is very close to the Convention Center, the beds are quite comfortable, the temperature controls work well, and it's got great water pressure. On the other hand the convenience plugs in the lamp base didn't work at all and I was constantly crawling under the desk to switch between my computer plug and the coffee-maker. Also, the elevators […] are extraordinarily slow. In a high-quality hotel you shouldn't have to wait 4 - 5 minutes for an elevator. But worse, they failed to make an early wake-up call on check-out day and because of that I missed my flight. "Sneaky Parking Charges -Lack of standard amenities"
I would of loved this hotel if it wasn't for the most basic things that they don't have or do! #1 They have no room coolers, fridges of any kind. No room microwaves. When I called to see if they either one of those anywhere, they told me NO WE DON"T but we do have fridges you can... BUY? #2 They do a good job selling the parking garage to you (since […] you don't have a alternative solution), comes to find out its thirty plus dollars a day to park in garage #3 I made 2 of the most basic request that I was shocked a hotel of this standard could accommodate. Asked for some limes or somewhere to find a knife... If they brought me limes it was eleven dollars and if I wanted a knife, I could ask the restaurant and see if they let me use one. "stay away on event weekends"
We booked a room for one night the night before the Austin Marathon. We checked in fairly late and upon arrival were told they had sold out of King rooms so they would upgrade us to their club level. When we got to our room, we discovered that they had actually given us a parlor room (basically a living room with large dining table and couch) and pushed […] in a roll away bed. We paid a full rate for the hotel and slept very uncomfortably in a drafty room with a tiny roll away. Ordinarily this hotel is great, but in this situation our accommodations were sub-par and customer service did NOTHING to assuage our concerns. Probably will not stay here again.
