Me and My girlfriend stayed at Villas Vista Hermosa for one night in january 2011. We where so lucky finding this place. Could have stayed here for many nights more if we hadn't booked our next stay. We had a really warm welcome from the owner Judy. She was so friendly and nice to us. Our room was great and very modern, couldn't have asked for anything more. Nice bed and a clean and beautiful bathroom. Our room and the rest of her house was really light and clean. Food was great. The owner mad an delicious dinner for us (extra) and the breakfast was also delicious. A very green and beautiful garden is surrounding the house and the pool. Nice neighborhood where we felt really safe. Just 15 minutes walk from her house you find a beach and even a golf course. We can really recommend this!!!

"Punta Leona"
Beautiful grounds and nice beaches. Buffet dinners are abysmal: much better to venture outside for meals. This is a very family friendly place.
We are very glad that you enjoyed our property and our services. Hotel & Club Punta Leona is a family oriented resort and here our guests can discover the natural wonders that surround us. We offer different meal options for our clients in our Buffet and a La carte restaurants as well as at the snack bars. Our clients also have the option to travel to the nearest town of Jaco where they also can find several restaurants.We hope you can visit us again.

"Punta Leona Hotel- Great for beach & nature lovers"
Hotel facilities near the beach are a 3 mile drive thru native forest from the guarded entrance at main road. Wife and 5 year old son did enjoy the beach, pools and other facilities in a very safe enviroment while I took care of business in San Jose. Free transportation within the complex with electric carts was easy to arrange with the staff.The breakfast […] buffet did offer many choices plus items cooked to order. "Hotel Punta Leona"
We went in the off season so it was a little rainy anyway, which adds to the humidity and likely some of the issues. It could use some updating, but the staff was wonderful and the facilities had a lot to offer, i.e. beaches, pools, etc. If you are not planning to spend your time in the room and want to be outside, close to nature, it is a good place, […] but if you are looking for cruise ship or larger Americanized style, probably not for you. Even during season, prices are very reasonable and cost of drinks is very inexpensive. Food was "okay," but breakfast was much better than other meals. "Loved it"
While Resort was difficult to locate, signage not clear from road, the grounds were beautiful and wild life everywhere! Didn't get over to the white beach, but brown beach was excellent. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Only ate at the buffet. Food was more European than Latin. We did miss the 'Typico Tico' food. Age demographic was […] slightly older then my 30-something group. And lots of Europeans staying at resort. Overall, Great! Two nights not long enough to explore everything! Not for singles. More of a family or couples retreat. Far from the closest city. about a 30 dllr taxi trip to jaco. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy peace and tranquility. mi padre y yo estuvimos 3 noches en el punta leona. subestimamos las distancias que uno tiene que recorrer en el resort, que es muy grande. para senores mayores de edad que quieren la playa cerca de su habitacion sin caminar mucho no es recomendable. el hotel tiene un bus interno que pasa cada 30 minutos circulando. todos los empleados con los que estuve […] en contacto son buena gente, atentos y gentiles. reservamos con hoteles.com las habitaciones con desayuno incluido, y conociendo a otros turistas que habian reservado todo incluido, nos dimos cuenta de que gastamos mucho dinero en almuerzos y cenas....o sea definitivamente es recomendable reservar todo incluido - si no el lugar es muy caro. con respecto a las habitaciones - tuvimos la selvamar, la mas sencilla de todas - estuvimos contentos, pero igual en relacion con el precio que pagamos fue una experiencia muy cara. "Servicio no a favor del cliente"
Me parece que para estar en temporada alta, el hotel cuenta con el mantenimiento de áreas apenas mínimo y en proceso de restauración de muchas áreas, lo que resulta incomodo para el huesped. Las habitaciones son cómodas pero el parqueo cada vez es más limitado por la gran cantidad de vehículos dentro del complejo y finalmente es un problema que la habitación […] la entreguen hasta las 3pm y la hora de salida se mantiene en 12 medio día, en comparación con otros hoteles es 1 hr menos, eso limita a que realmente se pueda disfrutar el día en el hotel. HAY QUE COJER EL COCHE PARA IR A LA PLAYA O CAMINAR CERCA DE 4 KILOMETROS, PARA IR A PLAYA BLANCA, "MUY BONITA", LA OTRA PLAYA NO VALE MUCHO.

Solo no me gusto q la reservacion q solicite de dos habitaciones no me las dierN en el mismo bloque sino muy distanciadas, el desayuno recomendado y la misa para los q practicamos la religion catolica super bonita

"Satisfaccion del servicio"
Me a encantado el lugar, muy tranquilo, mucha vegetación, áreas para caminar y disfrutar. En fin me gusto mucho. Solo tengo una sugerencia, en los días de mucha entrada y salida de turistas, deben tener un plan B de atención, ya que ese fue el único detalle que me pareció un poco desatendido, una sola fila tanto para el que ingresa como para el que […] salía y mucha gente al mismo tiempo, no supieron solucionar ese pequeño conflicto. la hora de mi salida excelente la atención. La habitación estaba bien, pero el costo de la alimentación es exagerado en relación a lo que se ofrece. El bufe no cumple con lo requerido y el servicio a la carta esta sobre valorado, En general la estadía se opaca ante tan poca motivación culinaria.

"Pura Naturaleza y Playa Blanca"
Precio aceptable y entorno natural inmejorable. Las habitaciones podrían ser un poco mas grandes pero fuera de eso muy bien, buena atención, etc.

Muy hermoso el lugar, solo un detalle y es que en cierta zona deben de ver como se evita el olor a cloaca

"Punta Léone - pas seulement un Hotel ......"
Mais aussi un parc d'habitations secondaires résidentielles pour les Costa-ricains. Très bel endroit, dans un immense parc naturel, au bord d'une plage agréable. Il y a une seconde plage un peu plus loin, mais beaucoup fréquentée par les résidents. L'hotel est constitué de petits bungalows, c'est un peu rustique par rapport au prix, nous nous attendions […] à plus de confort, mais c'était agréable et propre. La restauration n'a rien d'extraordinaire. Quant à la végétation qui constitue ce parc, c'est une splendeur, avec des animaux, singes, oiseaux, papillons etc... Par contre, un peu loin de tout, et malgré un service de navettes un peu réduit, c'est assez gênant pour se rendre par ses propres moyens en dehors du site. Läs mer
"Naturaleza, descanso y entretención Genial !!!"
Nos encantó, es lindo, confortable, bien atendido. los restaurantes tienen comida exquisita, y hay varios en el hotel .Creo que sería un buen lugar para ir con niños y jóvenes por todas las actividades que hay para realizar. Piscina, juegos, karaoke, caminatas, canopy, playa, gimnasia y más.
