Hotellet ligger mitt i stadens hjärta, nära till till precis allting. Sevärdigheter, shoppinggator, restauranger och andra saker som Chicago erbjuder ligger bara runt hörnet av detta bekvämliga och välskötta hotell. Rummen är rymliga och luftiga, fräscht badrum/toalett. Sängarna var enligt mig helt fantastiska, man sov som en stock varje natt.. Åt frukost […] på hotellet en gång och den gången var maten fantastiskt god. Personalen på hotellet är väldigt hjälpsamma och trevliga i största allmänhet, dom finns där när du behöver någonting och dom är alltid i gott mod. Direkt när man kliver ut ur hotellet finns det alltid en person som hjälper dig att fixa en taxi , oavsett tid på dygnet. Stort plus där! Ett tips är att försöka få tag på ett rum på ett av de högre våningsplanen för maximal upplevelse. Jag och min kompis bodde på våning 23 och jag måste bara säga det, vilken jävla utsikt! Man har hela downtown Chicago nedanför sig och alla Fantastiska skyskrapor runt omkring en. Jag tipsar verkligen om detta hotell på alla sätt och vis. Enligt mig finns det ingenting negativt att påpeka om. Hotellet ligger i en helt magnifik byggnad som verkligen sticker ut från andra i staden. Det enda som är Hard Rock med detta hotell är att de spelar ganska hög rockmusik i lobbyn. Läget var perfekt för oss som skulle springa marathon, bra även för shopping och sightseeing. Rummen är bra med riktigt sköna sängar. Frukosten på intilliggande restaurang China Grill bra men knappast prisvärd. Absurt hög kostnad för WiFi.

The beautiful building is an experience in itself! Although the Loop is not the most fun place in Chicago, it is definitely an ideal place to stay for easy access to other areas (plus, you have the river, the lake and plenty of landmarks around the corner and get to see them without spending too much time getting to them). The Hard Rock is a comfortable, […] clean hotel with basically any service you might want, and the staff is very sweet and helpful. I felt welcome here. However, I was a bit disappointed when I saw my room, not only because it was located between the ice dispenser and a busy cleaning staff room and had a noisy ventilation system just below the windows, but because I had been too seduced by the photos and descriptions on the hotel's website. It was not bad at all, but apart from a few details (cool bathroom with classy bath amenities and an amazing bed full of pillows that I could take home and marry if I believed in marriage), it was pretty much a standard hotel room (dark, and much smaller than it looked in the pictures). This made the descriptions of the hotel as an over-the-top awesome rock star of a luxury hotel seem ridiculous, and for the same reason, some of the decor (for example the fake alligator skin vinyl reclining chair) came off as tacky rather than rocky. WiFi and breakfast (and probably other extras) were good but very over-priced. There is a coffeemaker in the room, but only one pod of coffee a day (and one decaf), which was a bit of a nuisance to me - I drink coffee both for the taste and the caffeine and want a real cup in the morning AND one in the afternoon. It was always a difficult choice. Although I didn't get the escape-from-reality hotel experience I had hoped for, I got my money's worth (with a discount). Mycket bra beläget hotell i centrala Chicago. Nära till shopping, restauranger, kommunikationer. Utsikt över floden och Chicagos skyline från vårt rum på 30:e vån. Ett prisvärt hotell vi gärna rekommenderar.

A beautiful hotel located in the centre of everything, you can´t get at better place than that.

Ett mycket fräscht hotell med absolut bästa läge och hög service. En fördel att bo på de övre våningarna, 15-30, med fönster mot Chicago River och Micigan Avenue. Nära till tågstationen för anslutning till Midway. Ett topphotel vi mycket gärna återvänder till.

booked a suite as we were three adults but the suite was right by the elevator shaft and the elevator caused rumbling and shacking in the room so we had to move to a lesser room - we were crowded and since we paid in full in advance they did not adjust room price but did offer free wifi and one breakfast - not sure it was fair trade.

It went very well, the staff was fantastic. If we needed anything, which we did, they were able to assist us. The only negative thing I saw was a stain on the sheet over laying across the bed, which was disgusting. Other than that it was a great experience.

The hotel staff went above and beyond so often, we were floored. We asked for a newspaper and a staff member went to Walgreens to get us one right away - on a Sunday! The room service staff was extremely polite and respectful of our privacy upon delivering us our breakfast. We asked for our photo to be taken and the staff let us pose with real guitars […] from the surrounding decor! The valet parking is worth every penny!! Take advantage! The best benefit was that the hotel offers a complimentary service of having your luggage stored in a secure closet and tagged for pick up while you tour the city! (Check out time was at noon, but we wanted to sight-see. The valet parking allowed us to keep our car parked until 5:00pm. Good Hotel at a reasonable rate. The hotel is in very good condition, rooms are good size. Maybe only lacks better restaurant but who cares, too many other options nearby on walking distance. Super close to Chicago and Oriental Theatres and the Art Institute.

I will certainly stay there again. Good food, location to other restaurants within walking distance. Fun atmosphere in the cocktail lounge, 2 restaurants with different types of food/atmosphere in the same building. Close to shopping district, with souvenir shop in the same building for last minute needs. Drug store chain store located just across the […] street for prescription/toiletries needs. Very easy to get to all the must see places in downtown Chicago. Breakfast and mini bar expensive but otherwise very comfortable. Staff very helpful both in normal duties but also handling unusual (but legal) requests. I have stayed here before and would do so again

Everything was so great ! We even played pool. Only two things will keep us away: We prefer a restaurant on property and the lighting is very dim in the room.

Great location and very knowledgable staff. All their recommendations for resturants and entertainment were a hit. Would definately stay there again.

Stay at the HR in Chicago was fantastic. We were right around the corder from the theater for the concert. The hotel was clean and very polite staff. Great place to stay!

The Hard Rock is a nice hotel, but a little overpriced. You are definitely paying for the Hard Rock name. The hotel was very clean, staff professional, and the bar had excellent food. There was nothing that really stood out as special, while the staff was professional, they weren't overly friendly. While the rooms were clean and well maintained, the […] little things stood out to me, like the sub par shower head, the remote control on the TV didn't work, etc. The best part of the hotel was truly the location. It was right in the middle of everything I wanted to go to, like the Chicago Theater and a couple of specific restaurants. The room was consistently hot! Apparently the temperature is not controlled in the room because I had the thermostat on 50 and it never got below 75. I ordered room service three times and they never answered. I always had to be called back from the desk answering.

The valet were nice, and the front desk people were fun to talk to. I use Q-tips every night and forgot to bring some. When I opened that box in the bathroom that included them in it, I was excited.

We just stayed for one night and didn't have the time for breakfast but we liked the atmosphere in the hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed stayed at the hard rock hotel downtown for his birthday and couldn't have been happier with our experience. It was a great price for Easter weekend and the staff was so friendly and laid-back they made us feel right at home as soon as we stepped into the lobby. We didn't realize we needed a credit card to have on file for the […] hotel and they were super nice about it; worked with us and we figured it out. Also, we accidentally missed our train Sunday morning so we had to stay another night. Zach, who was especially our favorite, gave us a discounted rate for the extra night we had to stay. On another note the lobby had a pool table and Sunday evening my boyfriend and I played a few games. Somehow we managed to accidentally hit the light fixture above the table with the pool cue and ended up breaking one of the bulbs. We felt so terrible and started to clean the glass up. No more than 15 seconds passed before the concierge and a maid carrying a broom were at our side. I was really worried that we might have to pay for the damage and the only concern the staff had was if we were ok. I repeatedly started to apologize until the concierge finally just looked at me and said, " Really it's ok. Just have fun and enjoy yourself, no worries." My boyfriend and I can honestly say that overall our experience at the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown Chicago was the best we have ever had in any hotel. Great historical building convenient to Malinnia Park, shopping, and Merchandise Mart. But small rooms

Everything was pretty good about this hotel. It's pictures definitely represent what it really looks like and it's extremely clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the service was a little slow when we were having a microwave delivered to our room. Overall good though.

Apart from the guitars on the walls, this could be any hotel anywhere in the world. Rooms were clean and functional but plain and the 4th floor bar looked and felt more like an office cafeteria than a hotel restaurant. Only the lobby had any glitz at all. Would stay again but not at the price of a boutique 4* hotel. Very convenient location.

Stayed over spring break and the location was great. I booked because the room was larger than the normal hotel double room. However the extra space ended up being wasted space because there was a wall in the middle of the room which made the other half unusable except to store luggage. Stay was great, room was stylish, large and comfortable. But it was dark - not enough lighting in the room. Could not even see the closet at night. Also the mattress was way too soft and lumpy.

ALL IN ALL THE HOTEL WAS OK. THE FOOD WAS NOT THE GREATEST AT THE HOTEL. BUT IT WAS PASSABLE FOR ALMOST UPSCALE. THE VALET SOMETIMES TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO BRING THE CAR AROUND. I STILL TIPPED THE GUYS $5 EACH TIME in and out THOUGH. ALL IN ALL, THEY NEED WORK AND I AM SURE THEY WILL GET IT DOWN PAT. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN IF OUR NORMAL SPOT […] IS NOT AVAILABLE WHILE IN THE WINDY CITY. Staff was polite and professional. One of the Valet guys kept dipping under the counter to pick his nose, but other than that - they were all pretty polite and courteous. All in all it was good. The Hard Rock Hotel was not a bad hotel, the staff was friendly and informative, and when I had a few issues they were on the spot with a resolution. We had a wonderful view. The rooms were contemporary, but for the amount you spend per night you would expect the suite to have a microwave and fridge included. We were booked in a handicap accessible […] room without requesting the feature, so there were alot of things missing from the room. The bathrooms were nice but very dark. The worst part of the hotel is the constant banging from the elevator doors....OMG.....I noticed the noise when I tried to take a little nap. I thought it was a child constantly jumping out of the bed above us. I called the front desk and they stated that it is the elevator doors opening and shutting above us and when there is alot of traffic you'll hear it more often. Unfortunately the hotel was booked so we could not move, we were compensated with a free breakfast buffet instead. We slept with the TV on to drown out the noise. The next day because of the noise and handicap accessible room we were moved even higher and needless to say the noise was still present. We also had a big black spider in our new suite and could not reach him. Hard Rock is an ok hotel, if you can drown out the constant banging. I am happy I did not pay full price for this suite. The location was great. Right on Michigan Ave- close to the Art Institute and the "bean" and just a few blocks from State Street for shopping and the several theatres.

Great Location on Magnificent Mile. Our Room was clean but our bathroom had a terrible odor when we walked in and the odor was there our entire stay. Great Fitness Room!!

5 Stars!!!!

Great location and larger rooms than some in the downtown Chicago area. One slightly disturbing thing was the hotel shampoo, conditioner, etc... were not sealed. Seems that they were instead refilled from a larger bottle. Didn't bother my girlfriend and I too much but would much rather see these new and sealed.

The location of this Hotel was fantastic. However, I feel for the money I paid I could have got a better hotel.

Loved the location of the hotel and had a great view of Millennium park from room. Enjoyed the bar in the Lobby and had a spacious corner room.

We were pleased to find that our hotel was centrally located. We only had one issue during our first of two nights. We found many ants crawling on the carpet in our room. When we contacted the front desk, they promptly moved us to another room without any hassle. We greatly appreciated their assistance. It is right in the heart of the city and way to loud. Also wierd to have business people looking in your rooms. We had to have the shades pulled up other wise way to dark. The lay out of the room was akward and had a lot of wasted space.

I saw the hotel as being pretentious good .The service was mediocre and somewhat slack. I must add though... one of the bellhops was great , and provided on the go service.

I stayed a night recently in one of the studio suites in the tower of the hard rock and loved the spacious room. The views were amazing, and the bed was really comfortable. The service was also one of the best I've ever received and I travel several times a year so you can trust me when I say that they were great. I took a few bottles of water out of […] the fridge to store something, which of course set off the sensor, but at checkout I explained this discrepancy and the bottles were taken off my bill immediately. The room service at breakfast was also ten minutes earlier than they said it would take and the waitress was very polite. The bathroom was clean and large, I loved the glass enclosed seperste shower, it had great water pressure for such a vintage building. I'd recommend this to anyone because I had an amazing time during my overnight stay and I could have easily stayed a week there if I were a tourist visiting Chicago. Läs mer
