Med ett glatt "Bon jour"!!! välkomnas man vid ankomsten till detta Hotell. Kan man överse med denna oamerikanska hälsning så finns det inte mycket att klaga på. Hotellet är toppen på alla sätt och vis. Möjligen kan vissa tycka att hotellfrukosten är något dyr men det finns gott om frukost ställen i alla prisklasser i närområdet. Läget är perfekt för att uppleva Chicagos innerstad med gångavstånd till det mesta. Ett av de bästa hotellen vi besökt helt enkelt!

"Hard Rock Hotel i Chicago- kan det bli bättre?!"
Hotellet ligger mitt i stadens hjärta, nära till till precis allting. Sevärdigheter, shoppinggator, restauranger och andra saker som Chicago erbjuder ligger bara runt hörnet av detta bekvämliga och välskötta hotell. Rummen är rymliga och luftiga, fräscht badrum/toalett. Sängarna var enligt mig helt fantastiska, man sov som en stock varje natt.. Åt frukost […] på hotellet en gång och den gången var maten fantastiskt god. Personalen på hotellet är väldigt hjälpsamma och trevliga i största allmänhet, dom finns där när du behöver någonting och dom är alltid i gott mod. Direkt när man kliver ut ur hotellet finns det alltid en person som hjälper dig att fixa en taxi , oavsett tid på dygnet. Stort plus där! Ett tips är att försöka få tag på ett rum på ett av de högre våningsplanen för maximal upplevelse. Jag och min kompis bodde på våning 23 och jag måste bara säga det, vilken jävla utsikt! Man har hela downtown Chicago nedanför sig och alla Fantastiska skyskrapor runt omkring en. Jag tipsar verkligen om detta hotell på alla sätt och vis. Enligt mig finns det ingenting negativt att påpeka om. Hotellet ligger i en helt magnifik byggnad som verkligen sticker ut från andra i staden. "Inte så mycket hårdrock..."
Det enda som är Hard Rock med detta hotell är att de spelar ganska hög rockmusik i lobbyn. Läget var perfekt för oss som skulle springa marathon, bra även för shopping och sightseeing. "Trying too hard"
The beautiful building is an experience in itself! Although the Loop is not the most fun place in Chicago, it is definitely an ideal place to stay for easy access to other areas (plus, you have the river, the lake and plenty of landmarks around the corner and get to see them without spending too much time getting to them). The Hard Rock is a comfortable, […] clean hotel with basically any service you might want, and the staff is very sweet and helpful. I felt welcome here. However, I was a bit disappointed when I saw my room, not only because it was located between the ice dispenser and a busy cleaning staff room and had a noisy ventilation system just below the windows, but because I had been too seduced by the photos and descriptions on the hotel's website. It was not bad at all, but apart from a few details (cool bathroom with classy bath amenities and an amazing bed full of pillows that I could take home and marry if I believed in marriage), it was pretty much a standard hotel room (dark, and much smaller than it looked in the pictures). This made the descriptions of the hotel as an over-the-top awesome rock star of a luxury hotel seem ridiculous, and for the same reason, some of the decor (for example the fake alligator skin vinyl reclining chair) came off as tacky rather than rocky. WiFi and breakfast (and probably other extras) were good but very over-priced. There is a coffeemaker in the room, but only one pod of coffee a day (and one decaf), which was a bit of a nuisance to me - I drink coffee both for the taste and the caffeine and want a real cup in the morning AND one in the afternoon. It was always a difficult choice. Although I didn't get the escape-from-reality hotel experience I had hoped for, I got my money's worth (with a discount). "Not worth the price"
Great bed, thermostat was broke, magnify mirror fell out of wall leaving hole and wires showing, the theme of the hotel was dark, however there was no no optionto brighten any part of the room or bathroom up.. made getting ready a little frustrating. great neighborhood. Your description of the type of hotel room we would be getting was far from accurate. The room was cramped and all the TV services you stated were not available, such as premium tv channels, free movie channels, video game console, etc. These things were important to me because I had volunteered to keep my 3 grandchildren (ages 8, 5 & 5) in my hotel […] room for an evening while their parents enjoyed some Chicago night life. Everything was great for the most part - I only have a couple of comments. The parking rate of $50/night was entirely too high for someone staying in the hotel for several nights. I attended a conference at the Fairmont Hotel - the room rate at the Hard Rock was better, so I decided to stay with you. However, by the time I added $50/night for parking […] - it didn't make any sense. I could have stayed at the Fairmont and been in the same place as my meetings. The Fairmont parking rate was $30/night for conference attendees. The phone in my room was nonfunctional which was a bit of an inconvenience and there were no snacks in the room. "Right in the heart of the city"
Great location for a starting point. Within walking distance of many attractions and transportation. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The price was great. "Horrible experience"
This was possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. The rooms are not individually climate controlled, so the open window functioned as the AC. The hotel is not well maintained and on the "dumpy" side. "Needs work"
The service was excellent. Staff was nice, my room service was prompt. The hotel maintenance needs help. Wet carpet in front of the bathroom floor. Rotting wood at the base of the bathroom door, poorly functioning toilet and sink. I will not be back to this hotel.Verifierad gästrecension

"Great location!"
Hotel was in the ideal location for our needs: close to Union Station and Ogilvie; steps to buses for museums. Cabs are always plentiful. Countless restaurant options. 7-11 across the street. It was unfortunate that they stuck us (mom traveling with 5 yr old son) next to the elevators, where we could hear each and every movement of the three elevators […] on that bank. Immediately comped us b'fast when front desk made an error on room number at check in and our key didn't work. So that was nice. Would definitely stay there again for convenient location.
