Väldigt vänligt mottagande och mycket rent hotell. Sängarna var ganska hårda men OK. Läget är bra. Det är OK att gå till La Rambla, men tunnelbana finns också. Vi hade en 7-åring med oss så det blev mest tunnelbana ;-). Man går så mycket ändå. Billigt och bra hotell. Frukost finns men kostar extra, finns café i närheten för frukost.

Ett bra lågprishotell. Ingen störande trafik. Sängarna alldeles för hårda för en gammal rygg. Nära till Metron som är den snabbaste transportmedlet. Gångavstånd till centrala stan.

Nice hotel, good price and with multi language speaking persons in the lobby thatr is verry helpfull, internet in the lobby is free and the breakfast is ok for its price

Excellent value for Barcelona! Close to the Metro and lot´s of cafés and bars in the neighborhood.

Okay Hotel - Small room and no wifi in the room. Breakfast is nothing speciel. Location near the Metro which is good.

Myself and my wife stayed here on our first trip to Barcelona for 3 nights. Our room was clean but a bit on the small side, felt like a single room with a double bed. But we did not spend alot of time in the hotel so was no problem. Reception staff were nice and helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Placa Espanya and Montjuic. The Poble Sec metro station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel, this is on the green line and gives you access to the Nou Camp, La Ramblas and Guell Parc in a matter of stops. We stayed for 4 days before the cruise. Hotel is convenient to Metro, grocery and drug stores; ATM, nice clean, good hot water, excellent free internet in lobby, desk staff is super (bilingual), provide very helpful advice for tours, maps, and sites, directions, always eager to help. Took a cruise out of Barcelona and stayed here for three nights on two occasions. Very clean and safe. Great for internet; you can connect at desk in the room with a short broadband cable (They sell them for a few dollars.) No other charge for internet and it is fast. The room is small but functional. It has a modern bath with a strong shower. If you bring a laptop, bring an Internet cable to use in the room. There is free WiFi in the lobby, which also has 2 free Internet terminals. Decent hotel room; friendly staff. Located in a proper residential area, away from the main city centre but thankfully a few mins walk from the metro station.

The hotel is very good. As in europe everything is small, the hotel will be small... but everything than that it is excellent. i recommend to stay there

We stayed 3 nights prior to a stop in Granada and a 9 day trek in the Sierra Nevada and again for 2 nights after. Arrived prior to the check-in time of 12:00 PM and the room was ready both times. Staff, very friendly, helpful and spoke beautiful English. Metro stop 3 blocks away and the Metro in Barcelona is probably the best in the world so getting […] anywhere is a snap. Absolutely no need to pay high hotel prices for a different location. Had read in other reviews that interior noise was a poblem . We had a Swedish Boys school on their senior trip staying at the hotel while we were there the first time; some on the same floor; and only heard a couple doors closing early in the day;otherwise not a sound. Stayed on the top floor (6) with a courtyard facing room the first time and the 4th floor exterior room the second. No noise problem either time. AC worked well and great bath. The room was small as is normal for Europe but we were 3 sharing, always out and exploring Barcelona, so it was a non issue. We did pay the refundable 20 Euro for the room safe. Breakfast, although a little pricey at 8.50 Euro,was really good (scrambled eggs, bacon and of course all the breads, meats, yogurts and cheeses along with coffee and juice, that you could ask for). The best part was: one of our party left his wallet and a book at the Hotel on our day of departure. He realized it at the Airport, called the Hotel and they were immediate in getting the items in a taxi and they were delivered to the airport an hour prior to our departure. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great deal in a wonderful area with restaurants, tapas bars and the Metro at your doorstep. If you plan on spending time exploring the amazing city and not all your time in the hotel room then I think it would be silly to spend more $ on any other Hotel. The desk clerk (man) during the day shift was not helpful in responding to our questions. The ladiies on the 2nd shift (evening shift) were extremely helpful to us. They were helful, respectful, and warm in responding to our questions and made us feel welcome to your hotel.

Ideal place to explore Espanya and catalunya. Walk straight down the road past all little cafe's to the harbour. If coming from airport, really recommend the T10 ticket as it gives you 10 trips on the tube as well as getting you back to the airport. Hotel nice and clean, friendly reception staff.

We didn't experience any problems. The way it was booked through Hotels.com - the way it was in reality as was promissed by Hotels.com representative who provided booking. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

The Evenia Rocafort hotel has several strong points;(1) very courteous, knowledgable, and helpful staff; (2) hotel is immaculate; (3)very close to two Metro locations. The weak Points; (1) very uncomfortable bed, (2) small room (3) furniture needs an upgrade

Stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and location is excellent, Poble Sec station is a 2 minute walk away and that metro line goes right to Las Ramblas. If you get the aerobus you can get off at Placa Espanya and walk to the hotel (10 mins) and the bus is around €9 return.Only 2 things that annoyed me were the pillows, […] they were too small and only had 3 between 2 of us and there was no WIFI, only 2 computers that could be used in the reception area. Great location very close to metro. Great room with a fridge, no kettle though. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay.

Central location convenient to public transport and within walking distance to town centre

Barcelona is an expensive city, so this hotel was a great find. One of the clerks was wonderful--knew the best restaurants and places to visit. There is free internet in the lobby (as well as wifi in the rooms) and we had a tub in the room! Location is just outside of the touristy parts of Barcelona, but within easy metro ride to anywhere.

Staff very friendly and helpful! We had a great stay! We were recommended by the staff to eat at Lolita restaurant across the street and it was VERY good.

It was our first time in Barcelona, I went with my two daughters, at first it was a bit scary as we had heard some bad things, however the welcome we got from leaving the airport was good. Recommend getting on the bus tours as you can jump on and off at any place of interest, wrap up warm if you intend to sit on the top deck.Lots and lots to see,didn,t […] fit it all in so will have to venture back some time soon. Helpful and efficient reception. Clean compact and comfortable room with good facilities. Simple decor. An ideal hotel for my one night stopover and I would certainly use it again for a longer stay. Mini-market and cafe very close. An early January visit and the neighborhood seemed fairly quiet.

Small rooms but very clean and nicely looking. Located in the close proximity to both Espania and Catalunya Placa. We have stayed there 4 nights and have no complains whatsoever. Would definitely stay there again.

I booked this hotel after reading reviews on the usual sites. I was happy with what I saw and got what I considered a really good deal through hotels.com. I was able to combine a promotion with an already discounted rate for a Wed and Thurs night mid-October stay for two. Finding the hotel was easy. I arrived via bus at Estacio Nord, walked a block […] West to the Arc De Triomf metro, took the Metro to Rocafort and walked 3 blocks south. The hotel entrance is large and easy to find. The lobby was uncomfortably warm, but check in was fast and courteous. There are 2 computers with internet access which is very convenient. My room was small, with 2 singles pushed together and not much space to get around the bed(s). There was an lcd tv on the wall at the foot of the bed that I only managed to slam into once. My wife was not so lucky. The other con was that I think the beds were made from slabs of granite. If you like a "firm" mattress, you are in luck! The air conditioning worked well, but I preferred to open the large window as the October air was cool and refreshing. The bathroom was large with a shower with excellent water pressure. The finish looked very modern. Towels smelled clean, but looked a bit rough. The room comes with a safe, but you need to put down a €20 deposit that you get back at check out when you return the key. We were able to leave our bags after check out which was very convenient for our last day. The hotel is in a nice area of Barcelona with plenty of small grocery stores, restaurants, and bars. It is 1 block away from the Poble Sec metro on the green line that takes you to most of the tourist sites. You can walk to La Rambla in 25 minutes through some of Barcelona's more colorful neighborhoods if you don't mind that sort of thing. We used the Hotel as a base to explore Barcelona.We are keen walkers so did not use public transport, the Metro was easily accesible if you needed it. Hotel very clean and staff always pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was ok. The sheets were well worn and rooms were small. Location was close to a couple of metro stops and close to a few supermarkets. The internet in the room was great. Nice stay overall.

The hotel location was very convenient both for the conference I attended and for exploring Barcelona. The area was comfortable for walking and there was public transportation easily available. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely choose to stay there again.

I think that the location of this hotel was decent. It was walking distance to one of the metro stops, but a slightly longer walk than most hotels. It was well priced, all things considered...but to push this to the four star bracket, some improvements would be needed to room comfort. The bed mattresses were extremely hard and the blankets had a few […] burn marks in them. In addition, the air conditioning only worked while you were in the room, so it was extremely hot whenever we got back from going out on the town. One other comment is that the walls were not very thick, so you don't have much privacy in that regard. I am not disappointed by my stay, but if you are looking for luxurious hotel I would recommend elsewhere. For the budget to mid-range budget though, this definitely gets the job done! Läs mer

Hotel was not the cleanest. Bedding seemed dirty/well used. Hotel was in a good location, close to 2 metros. Walking to city center took about 25 minutes, walking to the beach took WAY longer (an hour plus). Overall good stay. Rooms were small, had little windows and had limited outlets.

If you want a really comfortable stay in central Barcelona, without traffic noise, and excellent service at the right price, then this is the place to stay. We were over for the European Championships, and found the hotel really well situated for access to the stadium, and also for the metro and local bus services. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful almost 5-star hotel, and is where you want to be if you don't mind a 20min bus ride to downtown Barcelona...

Excellent hotel for the money you will pay, Nice location near major plaza and metro station, Also, supermarket is few steps away should you want to save money by buying basic groceries especially water bottles to survive in 42 degree centirgrade heat in summer. We wish we would have chosen a different hotel. This hotel was very low quality. It was a dark, tiny room with no cool air coming from the air conditioning and the room wasn't very clean. Location wasn't in the best neighborhood. Would have preferred to be in a different area in Barcelona.

The Evenia Rocafort Hotel is located in a nice neighborhood relatively quiet and with good connection into the Metro system. The rooms are humble but good and the service is friendly and correct. We enjoyed staying in this hotel and would recommend our friends as well.
