Den var väldigt bra. Rummen var fräscha med en ny modern stil. Belysningen på hotellet etc. var mysigt. Hotell personalen kunde chockerande bra engelska (om man jämför med övriga spanjorer i Madrid). Det var lätt å ta sig till flygplatsen från hotellet med kollektivtrafik enbart 3£ per person, eller en taxi för 30£. Busshållplats som tar dig på mindre än 5min till Real Madrids Arean eller Centrum låg ungerfär 15m bort. Närmaste tunnelbana låg ungefär 2 min gångavstånd, vilket är ej farligt. På andra sidan vägen ligger stort shoppingcentrum, och nära till Hardrock och Starbucks (200 resp. 15 m!). Hade bra wifi på rummet samt möjlighet till deras dator både i rum och i lobbyn. Så hotellet i sig var väldigt bra, testade däremot inte resturangen/frukost men room service var billig och bra! :) .. Rekommenderat hotell för sina pengar och sitt läge!

Visste att vi valt et område en bit från centrum, men metro och reinfen transporter fanns nära. Inte dyrt att ta taxi från Gran Via. Konstmuseum inom gångavstånd. De flesta av personalen var väldigt vänliga, alla kunde bra engelska. Frukostbuffén var mycket bra och restaurangens mat var också väldigt bra. Dock var det väldigt lyhört på rummet och man kunde höra vad grannarna pratade om. Det fanns inte direkt något matställe precis i kvarteret. Men ca en kvarts promenad ifrån fanns det många ställen att välja på

Perfekt avstånd från Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, goda förbindelser med tunnelbanan till centrum, direkt tunnelbana till Plaza De Espana. Frukost ingår INTE. Detta framgår inte direkt på informationen om hotellet.

Ett otroligt trevligt och fräscht hotell som helt klart levde upp till våra förväntningar. Bra service, centralt läge vid Plaza de España. Frukosten bestod av spanska specialiteter, kanske något få valmöjligheter. Rekommenderas!!

Underbart kan tänkas att vi åker dit igen. Frukost och middag var väldigt god. Nära till sevärdheter och museer. Balkongen på 6 vån var skön när solen sken på oss och vår Sangria som var perfekt.

Gran Via är en pulserande nöjesgata med musikaler, affärer och restauranger. Den slutar i öst med Metropolisbyggnadens svarta dom. I stadens hjärta, Puerta del Sol, finns Madrids symboliska björn och reklamskylten för Tio Pepe-sherry. I väster var den stora Plaza Mayor en gång avrättningsplats och säte för Inkvisitionen men idag besöks den mest för sina terasscaféer

Ett alldeles utmärkt och centralt hotell! Frukosten överraskade positivt. Mycket innehållsrik och god! Sköna sängar och vänlig personal. Närmaste Metro är Sevilla, men nästa lika nära och bättre är Sol. Hotellet får en stark fyra eller en svag femma, hur man nu vill se det. Vi kommer i vilket fall som helst tillbaka.

We had a room on the top floor. Good space and Great AC. Strange toilet door but ok if you know each other well. Great location and Nice café NeXT door.

clean and very close to city centre sights, breakfast very expensive compared to local cafes, well worth a visit
"Quatro Puerta del Sol, Madrid"
Lovely hotel, close to everything we wanted to see (museums, shopping, plazas). Water temperature and pressure in room was excellent, and we appreciated the extra blankets and pillows. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as there are plenty of places to eat next door and nearby that were cheaper. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is very convenience to the sightseeing points, and it is clean and tidy, the only dissatisfy is the bathroom design! No door design and poor drainage of the bathtub always flooding!

The hotel was great with the exception that it was very warm in the room and we had to keep the window open at night. The street was very noisy however the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again.

Location is great. very convenient. staff were very friendly and helpful. Room condition, very clean, and service were definitely beat the price. Fantatstic value. I wouldnt call this place a four star hotel, however, would easily stay there anyother time I visit madrid.
"Incedible location and friendly multilingual staff"
Its on a main road but there wasn't any noticeable noise from traffic that we could hear in our room. Its just round the corner from Sol so its convenient for shops and travel. The hotel can keep your baggage securely and issue you a ticket for collecting them again,this was a relief as we had to check out at 12 and didn't want to carry our bags around […] all day. Good food is nearby a place that sells tapas 3 dishes for 12 euro just next to the hotel and museo due jamon a minutes walk away! Overall very happy but the only issue is that the rooms have a glass door to seperate the toilet and the bedroom.. which can be awkward if you have a high fibre diet! From thehotel we could walk to all sites and museums. The staff was friendly and very helpful in English. We stayed over Christmas for an affordable price. The comfort and quality definitely made our stay in Madrid that much better. Don't count on plush bedding or a ton of room, but you won't miss it at this price point and location.

The rooms were nice about 5-8 years ago. If they had been kept up, it would have been a better place. Also, if you are looking for a place that is quiet, look somewhere else; even with the window closed. We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location is perfect... close to Sol... but a few steps away from the crowds and the noise. The design and the management of the hotel were definitely 4 star quality... and I would even say business-class quality. Staff was attentive and helpful at all hours of the day/night. The rooms were beautiful. The […] only unfortunate part of the design is the bathroom door, which is glass... and see through... and makes for some discomfort if you're not in a relationship. Cafe next door was great - I would recommend coffee at the counter (its cheaper!). The airport bus stop (cheapest and direct) is nearby and walkable. The pictures look really cool, but overall this was not a comfortable hotel. The staff didn't want to be helpful and when asked questions would just say something really fast without taking the time to tell you how to get there because they were too busy talking to each other. Had to ask them for the name of a restaurant and it's location 3 times before […] they gave an approximate location. WiFi doesn't didn't work, TV worked on and off. Overall, not worth the money. We had a triple room (queen and single) that was big enough and very comfortable. The staff was very nice. A pool would have been nice for the 100 degree weather, but the air worked WELL and it was fine. Walking distance from everything. Woud stay there again

Location was perfect and in walking distance of pretty much everything. A/C SUCKED!!! It felt like a Sauna in the Lobby and the room wasn't much better! Room was nice and cozy but the warmth made it hard to sleep. We had to keep the window open for comfort but the street noise was bothersome. Room was clean and amenities in room were good. "If you want air conditioning, don't stay here."
The location of the hotel is great, and the hotel itself is nice and clean, the rooms are really small (which is a given in central Madrid), but the air conditioning DOES NOT WORK. We thought ours was broken, so they came and "fixed" it, but it spits out luke warm air, and we were better off leaving the window open. If it's a hot month, DEFINITELY DO […] NOT STAY HERE. "Hotel Quo Puerta del Sol - bring ear & nose plugs"
Great location in the center of Madrid, and friendly and helpful staff. However, the rooms literally SMELL. In the first room it was impossible to be in the bathroom due to the very strong sewer smell. I was not able to sleep either due to the very loud people outside screaming and breaking beer bottles all night long. It was Friday night. The next […] day I got a new room. The bathroom smelled a little less but the noise outside was the same. Thankfuly I found some earplugs and was able to sleep. Everything was very clean but the smell came through the drains. Läs mer

This was a great price for the location (about half the price of nearby hotels) and quality of hotel. Amenities are basic (no lounge, restaurant or gym) but rooms were very sleek , clean and comfortable. The chairs in the room were not comfortable but the all-important bed was. The hotel staff was very nice. The location is great just south of the Gran […] Via, near two metros, a ton of restaurants and bars. The only downside was when we left at 6:3am on a Saturday the young crowd was still partying in the streets. But having a room on a higher floor made it a non-issue. Overall I would stay here again. "Great hotel - great location"
Everything- the staff, the room, the location... My friends and I enjoyed the location. Quo Puerto del Sol is literally in the heart of everything- good shopping, nightlife, sights. The hotel was so well located near all the hot spots. The trio room nice and comfortable ,good value for money

Our room was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting the city. Drunken revellers coming in early in the morning was the only downside but no noise from the busy city right by our window

This hotel is great! The location is excellent. The staff is great. The rooms are very comfortable. Located on a busy street, the windows are excellent and blocked out the street noise. As a single woman, I felt safe and secure. I found the single room rate to be reasonable and affordable. I did not have the hotel breakfast (additional charge) so cannot […] comment on it. There were plenty of places right nearby to have a reasonable breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only other comment I have is a strange one. I had a problem with the doorknob to my room. I could not turn the doorknob and enter my room! I asked to change my room, and the front desk graciously did as I asked. They could not have been nicer to me. Still, I could not turn the knob on the door of my new room! It seems this is a common problem, and the front desk staff will go with you to your room and open the door for you! However, it is annoying. I was told that, even though the staff have told the owner that many of the guests cannot turn the doorknobs and enter their rooms, he won't change or fix the doorknobs.
