Ett trevligt hotell med bra läge i närheten av River North. Nära till både turistattraktioner, kollektiva transportmedel, shopping och bra krogar.

Mycket bra hotell. Nära till det mesta och mycket trevlig och personlig service i receptionen. Ingick både helt okej frukost och sedan cocktails med tilltugg på kvällarna. Trevligt!

Mycket bra läge nära till det mesta. Ett stort plus för oss var att Hertz biluthyrning låg i samma kvarter vi hyrde bil i Wahington DC och flög hem från Chicago Vi uppskattade kvällsdrinken med lite tilltugg på kvällen frukosten var också bra

Amalfi Hotel ligger bara ett stenkast från Magnificent Mile. Personalen är mycket trevlig. Rummen inte så stora, men bekväma. Vi hade två queen size sängar. Frukosten serveras på varje våning utanför hissarna och det är en riktigt amerikansk frukost: kaffe, juice, yoghurt, bagels, smör, cream cheese och sylt. Vill man ha mer än så får man gå utanför […] hotellet. En stor nackdel var att sopbilarna (obs! flera stycken) kom och väckte oss klockan sex på morgonen när de skulle tömma glas. Vi bodde på andra våningen, se till att ni får rum högre upp så störs man nog mindre. Precis runt hörnet finns en Hertz biluthyrning, väldigt bekvämt. Vi hyrde bil en dag och körde ut till en outlet i Aurora - riktigt bra shopping. Läs mer

Parking too expensive, beds could have been more comfortable. Breakfast and cocktail hour a plus. I would stay again, just wish the beds were better

I didn't arrive until 5am. I was very tired, and the clerk could not find my reservation. After 15min on the phone with Hotels.com they resolved the problem. Other than that everything was perfect. I really appreciated the later (noon) checkout time.

Great hotel - would recommend. But the wi-fi connection was horrible.

A fine small hotel with great amenities and easy access to many Chicago sites.

Beautiful, modern hotel close to shopping, theater, and great restaurants. The nightly happy hour is great! Good drinks and food with friendly bartenders. Breakfast is also convenient on each floor and plentiful. Staff very attentive with suggestions, cabs, and check-in. Beds very comfortable with many pillows. Stayed at Amalfi Hotel in Chicago for first time last week. Very satisfied with room and service. The front desk staff are called experience coordinators or something like that and were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient to all downtown Chicago destinations. We'll stay there again.

Perfect location just a few blocks walk from the Blue line which makes getting to/from OHare very easy! Great safe neighborhood with fun restaurants and attractions near by. Easy to walk to most places or the red and blue lines. Staff was friendly and helped up with boat tickets - you must take the Architectural Boat Tour. Awesome fun happy hour and […] that was a nice treat. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was awesome for two femals to share and spread out all of our stuff. Overall great place to stay in the heart of it all. The only thing - why can't you expand and come to other cities. Amalfi is only in Chicago. Guess we will have to come back again! Läs mer

The hotel Amalfi, was a great location, in the middle of great shopping and museums. The restaurant surrounding were also terrific. The staff was friendly and very accomadating. I would definetly stay there again.

My daughter wanted to go to Chicago, Illinois for her spring break (in nursing school and only had a few days off). With being only 5hrs away - we were able to make this happen. Our stay at Amalfi Hotel Chicago was a wonderful experience. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind, helpful, great with directions, suggestions of resturants (we found a great […] pizza place) and just very kind overall. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Amalfi and both times have had a very pleasurable experience...the room is clean, comfortable and has sufficient space for two people...we were there on St. Pat's weekend, and even though the Harry Caray's restaurant is across the street we heard no noise considering 'young' folks were partying […] 'til the wee hours...we also 'self parked' down the street in a garage lot and saved quite a bit of money by walking a block and a halfway...the creme de creme is the nightly complimentary 'happy hour' in the 6th floor lounge....free alcohol and munchies for a 1 1/2 hours...you simply can't beat this hotel for a fun time in the Magnificent Mile area... Amalfi hotel is by far the best hotel I've stayed in while visiting Chicago! The rooms were very spacious & most important extremely clean. Breakfast was served in the morning on every floor & there was a great selection of food & beverage to choose from. There was also the happy hour in the evening.....complimentary alcoholic beverages & hors d'oeuvres, […] need I say more?!? This hotel definitely delivered everything that was offered & more. I actually left a few personal items in the room & realized when I arrived home to Detroit. The items were left in lost & found by housekeeping & the staff actually sent them directly to me! We recently spent two enjoyable nights at the Amafli. The service by the hotel staff was wonderful. Check-in was smooth. The Concierge was always helpful and pleasant. We got wonderful advice from the Bellmen about the hotel amenities and the area. One Bellman in particular, recommended we go to "Howl at the Moon", a fun dueling piano bar. The Entertainment […] was better at this bar than we experienced at a similar establishment in Vegas. The bartender at the Manager's Special event was delightful. The snacks served were delicious. The only negative about the hotel is the need for the furnishings to be somewhat updated. They are showing some wear. The TV was small by most standards. Great hotel located right in between the great shopping street N. State St. down at the Loop and Near North's many little excellent restaurants and bars! two minutes walk to Magnificent Mile! Cool breakfast buffets on each floor that you just bring to your room and the staff will clean everything away! Loved the breakfast on our floor, business office where I could work, with coffee in the morning, while my wife slept in. The cause of the sleeping in was the great free drinks 5:30-7:00 with fascinating guests, fun to talk to , and a location perfect for shopping or research tot he Newberry library. What could be better?

Nice hotel, great location.

The Amalfi isn't really up by the expensive digs on the Magnificent Mile, but it's close enough to walk, and also close enough to walk down to the Loop, Millenium Park, or the Art Institute. It's well kept and the staff is helpful. No resturant, but a very good continental breakfast buffet in the mornings, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, toast, fruit, […] and pastries. Nothing fancy and the fruit was limited to apples, oranges, and bananas. But good and practical. My room was clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable but I would have liked another blanket .... Not enough to remember to call the next day, but it was chilly more than once with the temperature set at 72. Room service is from Harry Carey's across the street. I was on the north west side of the hotel and did hear the trash truck about 7:30 each morning. This hotel is great! I love it! It has all the amenities! Great customer service!

On the positive side: It's a clean, well-located hotel with comfortable rooms and the rates are reasonable. On the negative side: The television reception is poor quality, the lobby needs to be rearranged so that the check- in desk is clearly the check- in desk and not mistaken for folks sitting at business-center computers since they often times don't […] greet you. We spent 3 nights at this hotel and thought is was spot on for what we required (a city break). The continental breakfast was all we needed and was put out at the lift area on each floor, this was a nice feature as it meant you could go out and grab breakfast in your robe and take back to the room saving a good bit of time. Great location.

Pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, lovely breakfast and great cocktails. Super close to the House of Blues and other fun landmarks, we would totally stay again!

We stayed one night for a short getaway without the kids and were very pleased. The hotel and room were clean and nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant, as well. The rooms aren't huge, but certainly comfortable for two. The cocktail reception is a really nice bonus. We will definitely return.

the complimentary internet, evening cocktail party, and continental breakfast on each floor make this hotel a shinning star when you travel to Chicago. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here.

The only down side was the parking situation. We had to wait for a valet to take care of us.

While it was a nice hotel and the location is great, we were given a room that overlooked the lovely alley and a brick wall so we got to hear the garbage dumps being slammed shut all day and night... not to mention that cleaning service came early while we were out and still had an a couple hours before checkout and threw out my flower arrangement and […] a cake. Wonderful hotel and staff.

The room was great clean & nicely decorated. All the staff made it their job to be friendly & helpful & to make our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was conveniently located on each floor so that it was an easy beginning to a long day of sightseeing & the cookies in the room where a perfect touch after the whole day of touring around the beautiful […] city of Chicago. Very pleasant decor! Nice large room space. The service from the staff was excellent; fast checkin and our room service food was brought with lots of extras we requested with no extra charge and then breakfast right on our own level had really great choices with a lot of variety.
