Hotell Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester Hotel - Manchester

Vi bodde 2 personer här för 1100 kr allt som allt. Mycket prisvärt för femstjärnigt hotell. Vi hoppade dock frukosten och åt den ute på Giraffe istället som har god, fräsch och prisvärd brunch. Jättefina rum, skön säng, lyxiga badrum och fin relaxanläggning som ingick i priset. Rekommenderas varmt!

Fotbollsresa för far och son. Väldigt hjälpsam personal. Onödigt dyr frukost om den inte är inkluderad i priset från början. Medelstor hotellpool i källaren med jacuzzi och två olika bastu. Relativt stort gym vid pool och spa i källaren.

Detta var ett mycket bra hotell till rimlig peng. Det enda negativa var en mycket dålig wifi-uppkoppling...

Nära till det mesta. Enkelt att ta sig från flygplatsen med tåg till Piccadilly och sedan gå en liten promenad. Det är andra gången på samma hotel och blir med största sannolikhet samma nästa gång också. Dessutom bra frukost. Provade på Afternoon tea förra gången som var mycket bra, vilket är ett måste någonstans vid ett besök i England.

Väldigt nöjd med hotellet. Rummet, hotellets läge och SPA avdelningen var väldigt bra. Kan gott rekommendera detta hotell.

The pictures on the website obviously looked better then the room it self when we got there. Some staff were very friendly and attentive whilst others (one lady on reception in particular) looked as though they didn't want to be there! Check in was horrendous we waited 25 mins to be attended too but were given 2 free drinks in the opus lounge which […] was nice. The spa was small but nice. The business class room we stayed in was nothing special and had an intermittent Banging noise all night. Overall it was a good hotel whether it deserves it's 5 star status is questionable. If we stayed again I would not book a business class room but something more luxurious. Läs mer

This Hotel does not have a great energy, it is certainly substandard to a 5 star hotel, I would generally rate it about a 3.5 star. The rooms are just not comfortable and inviting. I did not have a good sleep here and actually based on other 4/5 stars I stay in regularly for business I would not stay here again

Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and the bed increadibly comfortable. The service in the bar and the restaurant was unfortunatly very bad - slow staff showing very little interest in guests, it took over 20 min to order a drink in a half-empty bar and at breakfast we had to go in search for the staff to find someone that could bring coffee, cutlery, […] butter etc. Läs mer

I stayed at the hotel for one night for my boyfriend's birthday. The hotel looks great, and the service we received was fantastic. Unfortunately for us, our room was directly above a restaurant that had a jazz night on, and it was very loud. Luckily we were watching a film and it didn't affect our stay, but if we were needing an early night before flying […] somewhere it would have been horrible. Overall, a good stay, I just think the hotel should look into sound-proofing the restaurant if their gonna hold events that carry on late into the night. Oh, and if you eat in the hotel, you won't be disappointed with Opus One. Amazing food! Läs mer

The hotel was pleasant but ordinary. The filthy state of the bed cover over the duvet was unforgiveable and how any room attendant thought it appropriate not to remove it for laundering I have no idea.

hotel was what we expected except for the problem of the refurbishment of the changing room facilities which restricted the use. You were required to get changed for the pool in your room and as the lift did not go direct to the pool area ( part of refurbishment) then you had to negotiate through the main lobby area. also the toilet facilities were […] out of action and again if you required the toilet you had to make your way to the first floor toilets accessed through the main lobby. A small setback but the dinner on the Saturday evening was excellent, the best tasting lamb for a long time and this made up for the loss of pool time. Läs mer

I stayed here two nights last weekend and the hotel were fantastic so much so I have already booked for another weekend in a few weeks time. The only down side with it being so central was I had to park my car at a NCP which had to pay full rates as the hotel doesn't have a discount code for it, otherwise was perfect.

excellent hotel, with attentive staff. I was able to drop my luggage off early in the morning on arriving in manchester, so was free to enjoy the shopping etc. Both rooms we booked were clean and had everything we needed for the stay, bottled water, coffee facilities etc

Took my father here for a surprise trip to Man Utd. The free bus dropped us right outside hotel and only a 6 minute taxi ride to the stadium, so location was excellent. Decor was lovely, rooms spacious, with kingsize bed and was nice and quiet. Lovely breakfast which was a nice surprise as we didn't think it was in with the rate. Receptionist only spoke to tell me my room number and floor I was on. Not the hotels fault this one but I was woken through night to a ‘domestic’ in the room next door. Very loud air conditioning/heating which meant by knocking it off the room was very cold. Woke up to shower with no hot water….. freezing cold! Not the best of experiences here

Great hotel and everything to a high spec. The gym was being refurbished which took the shine off for me and dodgy smells in the stairwells. The rooms look lovely and modern but the room lacked a homely feel (thin duvet and open plan bathroom into the bed area felt cold.

Superb Hotel, typical Radisson. Restaurant / Bar was fantastic and the breakfasts were great. On check-in, we were told that we were allocated two single beds, disappointed, we queried the reservation as we had booked a double. Was sorted out in no time, so I'm not sure if we were upgraded. They also through in breakfast for each day! The room was a […] king on the 14th floor with panoramic views over Manchester - beautiful. Spacious, sleek, modern, very comfortable. Bathroom was generous, well designed. Shower was to die for!! Large head in the roof and six jets down the wall OMG... We were satisfied with our stay generally, but when there is a double occupancy of a room the fact that there is no door between the wash basin area and the sleeping area, was very disturbing for the other occupant.

I capitalised on an advance purchase deal and stayed at the hotel for five nights on business in considerably more luxury than I have experienced in other locations. The check-in was fast, convenient and friendly and the cleaning service (and turn-down service of an evening) were not in the slightest bit intrusive. I had only experienced one minor issue […] with the stay, however this was dealt with wonderfully (and almost immediately) by the hotel staff. Initially I was given a room next to what I can only imagine to have been a boiler which made a dreadful amount of noise. However, I received a courtesy call asking if everything was as expected about 5 minutes into arriving at the room. This was an excellent touch as they sent someone up to attempt to deal with the noise and ended up relocating me to another room. Läs mer

Stayed at the hotel first week of January, excellent hotel in Manchester, rooms we're large adequate space both bedroom and bathroom. The Spa Lounge was excellent best part of the stay was able to relax and use the Pool, sauna, steam & jacuzzi. The Opus bar looked great too. Will definately be booking here again and recommending to friends.

Loved every bit about the stay, a working stop seemed liked a weekend getaway. An example of their aim to please can be summed up by the following example, whilst passing the lobby i asked for a room service card to get breakfast to my room, on the 3rd day, a worker was stood by my door before i got back to room, some 50 seconds later with the card. […] Every effort that could have been made by the hotel was, it is in every way 5 star and worth every penny. When we checked in the first room was not what I felt I had booked and was originally told they had no other alternatives. However about 15 minutes later they rang to tell me they had another room and would move us. The room was much better and we enjoyed the rest of the stay. I felt that the front of house manager was a bit rude when we had shown that […] we were not happy. Once the issue was resolved I found the rest of the staff to be brilliant through out our stay. Excellent hotel, location and service but expensive. £8.50 for a glass of Prosecco £17 for 2 (buy a bottle for £25). Pool/jacuzzi brilliant! Breakfast superb. Hate the way all hotel's rip everyone at Christmas!

Booked this the night before we traveled due to a need to be in Manchester for a stop-over, and this was both convenient and had a good price. The hotel was a bit hard to find when driving, as the address did not appear to be the front of the hotel entrance, and there are various one-way roads around it. As a warning, parking is 18 or 30 pounds per […] night in a nearby public lot (depending on whether you use the valet parking or not). The hotel itself is very nice and based on an old building that has been very nicely repurposed. The service was British - not particularly friendly or welcoming, but quite good for the local custom. The bar, atrium, and rooms were generally very nice, and things were quite well appointed. A couple of other small things detracted from the stay - the curtain/blind in our room did not close properly, so the street lights shone on the head of the bed when we were trying to sleep and people could look in from another part of the hotel. The computers in the "business center" were in pretty bad shape and the web browser kept crashing - I could not log on to get boarding passes - fortunately there was a way to print directly from my laptop that worked. The staff were good, the spa was lovely, the room was very nice ... Beware, however - if you're in a room with a connecting door. The people in the room next to yours don't even need to be raising their voices to sound like they're right there in your room with you. A bit disturbing to be woken by this at at 2:20am!

Bath tub badly chipped, noise in hallways in the middle of the night. Shower tap broken. Bring your own pillow as the ones in the room are like rocks.

Rooms very clean though pillows poor and let the experience down- expected more luxury in the room for 5 star accommodation. Couldn't get a drink from the bar due to private Xmas parties which was a let down.
