The room was great for the price. Staff nice. Room needs to be upgraded with old ac/heat unit smelled once you turn it on. View of ocean great!!! Need upgraded cookware and be nice if they had a dishwasher and small washer n dryer.

Loved it... Would stay again!!!!!

I don't really have any complaints about this hotel. We arrived and the check-in process was smooth. There are dedicated spots for check-in parking, and hired security/law enforcement in the lot to make sure cars keep moving and not parking for too long. The parking garage was convenient. We were up early every morning and so were the maintenance staff cleaning the decks and chairs and vacuuming the pools. Maintenance was immaculate. Other features like the coffee shop were convenient and really well done. I really don't have any complaints and would definitely come back. One suggestion, is that towels are not available at the pools. But the front desk will give you as many as you want to use at the pool. Läs mer

It was great. The spas's were not hot on several occasions

We relocated from a time share location that was disgusting. Found the Sea Crest via the internet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire complex was well maintained and the room fully met our expectations for amenities and cleanliness. Provided a good access point to all of Myrtle Beach. Would return without hesitation.

Overall a great hotel with affordable rates. A down side is that the kid's pool area with all the different props doesn't get much sun during the day because the hotel building itself blocks it. The lazy rivers are really fun. The location is great with close by parks and many mini golf venues, also close to grocery stores, etc...

The hotel room was nice for the few days we stayed. Pretty good location, kind of a distance from barefoot landing, but not too bad. Beds were kind of uncomfortable. Great price though!!

Suited our needs very well......loved the oceanfront view!

I have been staying at this hotel since 1990 and have always been pleased.I have not been there for about 9 years so I was pleasantly surprised considering the age of the hotel that the rooms and ammenities are still nice.I would definately stay there again as well as recommend it to friends and family.

We were not told where to park when we initially got to the hotel. We picked a spot that looked ok but got a call at 11 pm telling us, rudely, that we had to move the car and that no we could not wait for the morning. I was very pleased with my hotel stay. We stayed for two nights, are room was nice and the oceanfront view was wonderful. All the pools and the waterpark was great, my kids loved it. The access to the beach was easy and convenient. Definitely would consider staying at this hotel.

Enjoyed the stay, you wanna getting in on a Thursday if you can to avoid the weekend rush, pools were nice, loved the hot tubes, you have to be children friendly with all the kids staying there, overall good experience.

Our stay at the Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort was wonderful, and outstanding, the front desk staff was great, professional, fast and officiant, rooms was wonderful even tho we spent most the time site seeing and swimming with the kids but everything was great, they are family friendly. everything was outstanding and i give it 5stars

I really enjoyed the view and the surrounding. Being a female with a child I felt safe. The room was really nice. One exception was one of the bed sunk in the middle. Which was very uncomfortable. I really enjoyed the pools. There was a pool for everyone to enjoy. One exception was the chlorine in the Jacuzzi was too strong, which made my eyes continuously […] water. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and our room was ready prior to the 3pm checkin time which was nice. The room was clean and had everything as detailed in the information about the hotel. The room I booked had a kitchen as I expected and plenty of room for 3 people. I did not like that the room did not have a balcony. I was under the impression […] that it would have one and did not state in the description that it did or did not. The cleaning staff was on time everyday and made sure we had extra towels which was appreciated. Parking was no problem at all, there were always plenty of spots right near our room. Next time, I would most likely pay a little more to make sure we had a balcony to hang our beach towels, other than that it was a great price for a last minute trip and we got just what we expected. The kids will love the pools, lazy river, outdoor kiddies pool and beach access. Better to stay in the tower for direct access to the pools. Beds were so hard that you had to make use of the jacuzzis to ease the sore muscles the next morning. The front desk was nice enough to tell us to call to check on room and we were able to get in our room an hour […] early. Not sure we would stay again because of the hard beds. Stayed for sprung break in the beginning of April. There were too many kids! Rooms were dingy with questionable mold. Half the lights didn't work, never enough towels. Not bad for parents with young kids, not good for people without. I'd argue that it's over priced for quality of stay.

Sea Crest Resort was billed as quite an exceptional hotel, however, upon arriving I found it to be only average. There were numerous physical things that needed servicing and or replaced. I reported a couple of items to the front desk and the reponse was someone would take care of it first thing in the mornging. Morning came and went for a couple of […] days and the items were never addressed. I booked it 3rd party through hotels.com. The location was great, as well as the amenities the hotel offered for my kids. This was our first time in myrtle beach so I was skeptical with choosing a hotel. Their water park, lazy river, and pools were all great and perfect for kids of all ages. However we were there 4 days and 3 nights and housekeeping […] never cleaned our room. I had to clean, take out trash, and Lysol everything myself. Each day housekeeping would ask if we wanted our room serviced, each time we said yes but they never cleaned it... Then our last night we had to moved rooms, the room they tried to move us to was DIRTY! The MANAGER then asked me if I could move our things in the dirty room and they would clean the room before we get back. What kind of customer service is that!!! And to add icing to the cake, they end up giving someone a key to our room and they walked in while we were changing... I had a horrible experience there! However the kids loved it!!! Läs mer

We booked a property view room and ended up witn an ocean view! Although the hotel doesn't appear to have been renovated recently, it was very clean. The hotel staff was fantastic and the location was perfect!

This property has two buildings one old and one new. The good reviews you see are probably from the new building because in the old building the room smelled strongly of tangerines and stale smoke. So did the other room they offered me and I saw a woman check-in and check out with-in a half hour for the same reason. A lot of things were shabby in the bathroom. The curtain rod fell down with light pressure. The beds were very uncomfortable. You could tell this room was not well maintained. The toilet was loose. Low quality. Room 354.

I was passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. If you have kids, the pool looked fun. The room was alright for one night. Throughout the night, I was scared because there were two instances where someone was trying to come into my room. They were twisting the handle and beating on the door. The location is great. Rooms were a little outdated. Beds were comfy, but linens were definately old. Staf was friendly enough. The front desk was not helpful when we asked for recomendations. Overall is was ok.

IF IT IS TRUE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR THEN I OVERPAID X 2 . WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. ROOM WAS SMELLY,SMALL, BATHROOM YOU HAD TO ALMOST GET IN BATH TUB TO SHUT DOOR. WALLS WERE VERY THIN CAN HEAR NEXT ROOM .

Except for the water on the kitchen floor upon check-in and the "dated" interior look of the unit, the overall experience was nice. The hotel made a good faith effort to accomodate us for the inconvenience of having water dripping from the refrigerator by offering another unit or breakfast meal tickets at the coffee cafe, which we opted for. carpet was always wet, Toilet was loose, air conditioner didn't work. Maintenance guy came in whenever he wanted and did nothing. Bathroom was pitiful. would not return

My wife and I took our three kids for a four day weekend, and the hotel was just ok for us. The kitchen was not exactly fully equipped, the "jacuzzi" tub is just a glorified bathtub, and the angled oceanfront room is not what I would consider an oceanfront room. Basically, this is a hotel in Myrtle Beach, and it will be what you make of it. Myrtle Beach is not a resort town. It is a crowded oceanfront vacation destination. My wife and I stayed here at the end of February 2012 for a mini-babymoon. At the off-season prices, this was a phenomenal deal. Great hotel, great location, nicely maintained, would definitely come here again.

I paid a fair amount of money to get away from my kids for the weekend and because there are efficiency rooms below that's what i heard all weekend were kids screaming on an off season. Don't get me wrong the hotel was itself was great bad timing maybe wont chance it again there though.
