Bra hotell, men gammaldags att ta betalt för internetanslutning.....Men bra läge och vi fick bra pris.

Fick bra pris på detta och nöjd med rum och läge. Trist dock att man tar hutlöst betalat för internet-access.

Fantastiskt bra hotell:). Rekommenderar starkt!

I really loved to live here! The gym was perfect! The cesear Sallad in the bar too. And the breakfast was awesome! we got a room big like an apartment! it had two ig flatscreen TV, one big livingroom, the biggest bed ive seen and shower and a bathtub! i am happy for that choice! I will defenetley live there again!

This is a hotel with no surprises. Good service, nice rooms and the breakfast had all you'd expect . It's located in the financial quarters and you have a lot of banks around you. Try to get a room towards the water and high up and you'll have a really great view. We had to wait about an hour to get our rooms but that wasn't really a problem since […] you have restaurants just around the corner. The location is somewhat off and as London is a big city, you can forget about taking a stroll to the City or shopping areas at Oxford street. Cab fares in London are rather high and travelling by car is generally time consuming so I preferred the underground with the Jubilee station ca 5 min walk from the hote. Enjoy! Läs mer

Bra service och fina rena rum. Området mellan West India Quay och Canary Wharf förefaller bestå av mycket kontorsbyggnader vilket medför att det inte är särskilt livligt i området annat än under dagtid vardagar. Flertal restauranger med uteserveringar i nära anslutning till hotellet. Närmaste butiker/shoppingcenter finns i Canary Wharf ca 10 minuters […] promenad från hotell Marriott. I Canary Wharf finns livsmedelsaffär, apotek och ett par klädbutiker. Lokaltåg ca 7-8 minuter till Banks där man byter till tunnelbana. Ett så kallat Oysterkort för resa med lokaltåg, tunnelbana och buss till centrala London ingick i rumspriset under vår vistelse. Man tar sig till t ex Piccadilly Circus med Regent Street på ca 20 minuter med lokaltåg och tunnelbana varför resorna till centrala London inte kändes speciellt betungande. Det som drar ner betyget för hotell Marriott West India Quay är att två av hotellbyggnadens tre sidor är vända mot spåren för lokaltåget, på ena sidan inte längre än max 15 meter från byggnaden vilket innebär utsikt mot just inget annat än tågspåren och en del buller från passerande lokaltåg som kör in till eller lämnar stationen West India Quay. Hotelet var kanon ,men tyvärr började rummet vi hade bli slitet efter bara 5år.men annars var det ett kannon hotel. Pernila

Bra hotell med mycket sköna sängar. Ligger i ett kontorsområde med ett närliggande köpcenter. Lite krångligt med kommuniktionerna om man ska in till city. Lättaste sättet är att promenera till Canary Wharf stationen och ta tunnelbanan därifrån. Genrellt nöjd med vistelsen

I choose this location to be close to someone I was visiting. The hotel was very clean accomodating. Room service was fast and food was prepared to your liking. It is located near the Canary wharf Underground station where there is easy access to the DLR and Jubilee lines which makes access to central London and surrounding areas quick and easy. There […] is also many shops, restaurants, and banks in Cabary Wharf so you can get anything you need and want! The hotel looked brilliant and it was untill check out day, we were due to check out by 12 but received a call at 8 30 which no one spoke at the other end, we then had the cleaner knock on our door at 9 then 10 45! It was a very good stay apart from that.

Have stayed at West India Quay a number of times during 2011 and early 2012 and continue to be extremely pleased with the quality and comfort of this hotel. The staff are most accommodating and the hotel is clean, fresh and beautifully appointed. The king sized beds are heavenly and appreciate the staff's willingness to provide extra towels and room […] amenities. Have stayed in the Executive Apt. as well and they are fabulous, esp. if you have children and want more space to spread out. Canary Wharf is a great location with lots of buzz during the week, but becomes quieter on weekends. The Jubilee Line makes tube travel to the West end a snap, so don't be put off by the east end location. Take time to wander the gentrified docklands and you'll see how cleverly london is being transformed. Be prepared that during Olympic dates the area will be a zoo, but this hotel would provide welcome refuge at the end of busy days. Love the restaurant makeover and the inclusion of a bountiful buffet breakfast as part of the room rate. Highly recommend this hotel. Läs mer

I rarely stay in five star hotels, and tend to splurge once-in-a-while. This hotel does not meet any expectations of a five star. The room was so-so, the view was HORRIBLE, and the service was poor (behind the desk and those who help). The Marriott West India Quay does not even have free wi-fi! What a waste of money! Waste!

We have stayed in London many times but keep returning to the Marriot. the hotel staff are excellent very helpful and have good knowledge of the area. the only downside is the cost of the breakfast so we always get up early and go into the centre of London. The rooms are large and the last 2 times we have stayed we have overlooked the river which is […] fantastic. The journey time into the centre of London takes no time at all. Läs mer

Very good hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. It is located outside of London but public transport is very close, in walking distance, and easy to use especially train service. Also in walking distance is a large shopping centre and a good selection of eating places including a pub. I would be happy to stay here again.

This has got to be one of the best hotels in London that I have stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was fabulous! Very clean and comfortable surroundings and a view overlooking the docks. I was also amazed at how quiet it was at night, no external noise interference at all! In the resturant they were able to seat us straight away […] andoffered a great choice of food. I had one of the nicest steaks i've ever tasted. My partner went on about the steak for days after we'd left. Canary wharf is walking distance with a choice of great eateries if you don't fancy the hotel resturant and plenty of walks along the river to burn all that overeating. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It would be great for one night pampering yourself or several nights as an escape from the urban ratrace. Läs mer

The view from the floor to ceiling windows were spectacular. The surrounding restaurants and bars were all lit up for Christmas which made for a great atmosphere. We ate late in the hotel bar after the restaurant had closed and despite being incredibly busy the quality of the food was very good, and served hot. no wireless! internet by hotel-provided cable only. cable not compatible with ipads or iphone. internet charges very high.. curve restaurant is of average-quality but very expensive. our room looked onto train tracks and a concrete overpass.

went away on the weekend with my boyfriend and decided to stay at the marriot hotel which was a good choice. The hotel room was spacious and i was given my preference i.e.king bed, which was nice and comfy. Staff were really nice and helped us with our queries. Would definately stay at the marriot again.

We have stayed in London quite alot and we have to say that this hotel def hits some of the right spots, in terms of facilities and location for what we were after.

This property is not what I would expect from a 5 star London hotel. It's decor was tired and it lacked many of the extras in a delux room you would expect from a hotel with this rating. No free mineral water, no dressing gowns and soap & shampoo for only one person despite the reservation being for a couple and request for towels for two to be provided. This is one of the best hotels anywhere I stayed at in 40 years of traveling worldwide. The attention to details, care and quality of service are first rated. The location adds to the pleasure. Will never go to another hotel while in London.

beautifull hotel,nice surroundings, shopping mall convientley located, plenty of places to eat, staff very courtious, polite, helpfull and friendly, cannot do enouth for you. We would definatly stay at this hotel again.

perfect location - Canary Wharf area a real revelation. Don't trust the hotel map - Canary Wharf or West india Quay really are the closest tube/DLR stations. Nothing too much trouble for staff - they even arranged to have a troublesome padlock cut off our case ! Hotel gym a cut above others and a real pleasure to use. I have stayed here a few times, purely for the proximity to O2 arena (one tube ride away). The hotel is on the wharf next to bars/restaurants which is a welcomed convenience. The rooms are simple and clean, spacious enough and the hotel restaurant is as you'd expect from this chain - good menu and friendly atmosphere. I stayed at this hotel with my 10 year old daughter on June 25/26 2011 as we were going to see a concert at the o2 arena and it was quite close by. I found this hotel absolutely fantastic and am definitely going to stay there on my next visit. All staff were wonderfully friendly from the doorstaff, reception, restaurant and were lovely to my daughter […] - very child friendly. The room was very clean and modern and the bed extremely comfortable, brilliant view and had all the nice little extras in the room we like - bathrobe, slippers - even a little mouthwash and bath crystals! Breakfast was a lovely relaxing experience with a huge selection of good quality food. Location is perfect. It is right next to West India Quay DLR (don't worry though, you are not disturbed by any noise from this) and is also within a 5 minute walk of Canary Wharf tube (a lovely walk along the river side). We chose to take the clipper river boat to the O2 on the night of the concert (the river stop is also only a short 5 minute walk away) which was a wonderful way to arrive right outside the arena. When the concert finished at 10.30pm we took the river boat back which finished the night off perfectly. (We have been to the O2 before staying more central and had a hideous wait for the tube/taxis after the concerts finished - the boat is by far the quickest option from my experience and more fun!) Only 20 mins from central London, this hotel is modern, clean with good service and a great breakfast. There are a number of restaurants nearby and the hotel is right next to the India Quay DLR station so very convenient for London. This Hotel is as you would expect,modern,clean and efficient. Well located for all of the Canary Wharf businesses with the benefit of shops and restaurants on the doorstep.The quayside location gives you the impression of being on holiday. A little far out of Central London for sightseeing but a great location but none the worse for that.

The hotel was nice and clean with excellent customer service. The restaurant food and service was perfect as well. The hotel is situated on the water front and lots of nice restaurants a few steps away. Best is that the hotel is right next to the DLR train station and one can go anywhere in London in moments time. A pleasure to stay at this hotel.

We stayed at the Marriott overnight for a local function. Brand new and exceptionally well-appointed. Positioned overlooking the West Quay, with its bars and restaurants, overlooked by 1 Canada Square. West Quay DLR station right next door. Staff very friendly and helpful. Extras pricey but hey it's a five-star. Recommmended.
