Hotell i svårslaget läge! Rent på rummet och snygg amerikansk stil på rumsinredningen. Fungerar mycker bra med WC och dusch i korridorer, det är aldrig kö och de städas i princip hela tiden. Mycket prisvärt hotell. Det enda minuset är möjligen att sängarna är något hårda.

"Väldigt bra hotell!"

"Nära till allt"
Jättebra läge men ändå lugnt område. Bra med kök men det gick inte att steka då brandvarnaren satte igång. Dåligt att det inte finns kostnadsfri Wifi.Verifierad gästrecension
"Rekommenderas!"
Vi som reste är 2vuxna och 2ungdomar. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell! Läget är utmärkt då det befinner sig i "mitten på Manhattan", enkelt att utforska både "norra" och "södra" delen till fots om taxi/metro inte är ett alternativ. Det finns en hel del affärer i närheten, smidigt att man kan lämna av påsar på rummet på ett snabbt och enkelt sätt […] och ge sig ut på gatan igen. Vi bodde i ett studio rum med 2st queensize sängar, vilket fungerade utmärkt! Plus med det lilla köket ifall man vill hålla matkostnaderna nere. Bekväma sängar och rent! "Kanon hotell"
Hotellet var jättebra, sängarna supersköna. Stort rejält rum med en liten köksavdelning. Att städningen bara är en fyra , beror på att vi var där under stormen Sandy! Och allt var lite upp o ner dom där dagarna, samt att hotellet saknade el. Men jag kommet absolut att bo där igen om det blir någon mer resa till New York. "Spacious room"
Rymligt rum. Inte den nyaste inredningen men alltid rent vilket är det viktigaste. Man kunde höra allt från korridoren och en del från grannrummen också. Stannade bara en natt men så bra har jag inte sovit på länge - sängarna var otroligt bekväma. Rent och snyggt på rummet, trevlig personal och bra läge. Det enda minuset var en något för högt bullrande luftkonditionering.Verifierad gästrecension
Bra hotell centralt i New York. Nära till det mesta + tunnelbanestation och bussar. Rummet kunde ha innehållit någon typ av matbord då rummet hade ett minikök. "Service with a smile"
We love this hotel. Convenient, mid town location. Easy to walk in all directions. We asked for a higher floor than the room originally assigned to us. They happily accommodated our request for the following nights of our stay. The only negative about the hotel is an annoying lack of free wi-fi in the rooms. "Not worth the price"
We were not at all satisfied with the first room offered to us since it reeked of fried food and didn't have a safe. We were denied a different room, even though it was barely check-in time, and were told the hotel was overbooked. We even asked to be downgraded, that request was denied as well. On the second day, we were finally offered a different […] room, but came back in the afternoon to find our room had been emptied, and we were stranded in the lobby until 3 o'clock. The reason was that the previous guests had left a terrible mess... The new room had a heating problem (couldn't be turned off), and an out of order phone. At least, we didn't see any bed bugs. "Big suite for New York"

"Midtown - Close to Sights"
We chose the Affinia Dumont based on a previous stay. Centrally located, near a metro stop and surrounded by (relatively) inexpensive eateries it is a safe and pleasant place. Each room has a refrigerator and small kitchenette, especially helpful to store breakfast items, coffee, snacks, etc. You can get anything you need from a good, local market right […] down the street. Beds and heating/air conditioning controls are very comfortable and that is important to us. The hotel is safe, clean and staff is very friendly. Rooms are larger than most NYC hotels and there is a sitting area a very large desk and work area. The cleaning staff will go out of their way to see to your needs. There is a small workout room with treadmills and some other basic equipment, also a full-service massage and facial spa! This time there seemed to be a LOT of sirens, street noise and it was a bit interruptive. Use the ear plugs the hotel provides if you want to be ensured a quieter nights' sleep. We were traveling with our teenage granddaughter. When we asked for an extra blanket for the sofa bed, we were told that they had none and they brought up three sheets instead,. "Great room to share with your pet"
It is not always easy to find a nice hotel in large cities that accept pets, large pets... Our experience was really great: The room was of a very good size, extremely convenient, quiet, clean. It would have been ideal to have a little park or some green area close, but we were in Manhattan, so that is not necessarily easy to find. We did go to Central […] Park one day and our pet loved it. "Affinia Dumont"
Pretty much what I expected. Excellent location 2 blks from no. 6 subway - easy travel uptown (Fifth AVE museums) or downtown. Plenty of dining options nearby including a plethora of Indian & Pakistani restaurants along Lexington between 26th & 30th (the area is nicknamed "Curry Hill" for obvious reasons). BONUS! Room w/ 2 queens exceptionally spacious […] for Manhattan. Mini kitchen handy w/ fridge, microwave & toaster though the lack of utensils would have made actual cooking (vs. reheating or minor prep) out of the question. Clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The only thing that marred our 3 nt stay was a 5 AM wake up call that was intended for another room! "Good location, clean room and safe area."
My husband and I stayed for a night in the city as we tend to do every now and then. The location of the hotel is safe and only a couple of blocks away from the subway station. If you are use to walking it is only about 10 blocks from Grand Central Station. Korean town or K-town is just a few blocks away and so does the Empire State Building. There […] are plenty of restaurans in the area. We were given a room with a kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove, cooking utensils, etc). This is good for family and those who are on extended stay. Usually this is what hotels do when you stay with them for the first time. They put you in a room with all the extra amenities so you will come back or recommend to others. "The only NY hotel for me"
This was my 3rd stay at the Affinia Dumont Hotel and once again it was top class. From the moment I set foot in the door, I was greeted with a smile from all the staff. Check-in was done within a mere 2 minutes. I had a south-facing room on the 16th floor. "Nice neighborhood, pleasant staff."
Good for the price. Nice neighborhood. Travel with kids makes kitchen a nice plus. 2 nights of very noisy heater kept us from a good nights rest. Wouldn't have minded one night but saying it was fixed only to be woken up a second night with the same loud noise is unacceptable. Other than that the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious. Furniture was new and comfortable. Large room included sitting area and a large desk. Th kitchenette was fully equiped. The view from my room (37th floor) was splendid! "overall, a great stay"

"unexpect quality for the money"
For the price paid for the room, it is best I have ever had for that area. The uptown 42nd Street Broadway hotels are not even close. The Dumont deserves the 4+ rating. I will always go back to it when I am in the Grand Central area.Verifierad gästrecension
