Rent och fräscht hotell beläget 7-8 kvarter från Barcelonas citykärna. Fräsch frukost om än kanske något begränsat sortiment. Sängarna var lite väl hårda för mig. Mycket trevlig och serviceminded personal - speciellt i receptionen.

Vi hade "stökiga" gäster på vår våning och det gjorde två av totalt fyra nätter till en mardröm. Vi var tvungna att be receptionenen fyra gånger att ta hand om de högljuda gästerna. Till slut kunde vi sova, klockan var 4... Förutom de luhörda dörrarna har vi inget att anmärka om vår vistelse.

Bra hotell om man söker ett bekvämt ställe att sova på. Det är opersonligt men bekvämt helt enkelt. Frukosten var bra men kunde kanske vara lite mer med tanke på priset. I övrigt bra. Läget är bra om man tål att gå ca 10-15 minuter för att nå de centrala delarna.

Rent, fräscht och modern inredning. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal som det gick bra att prata engelska med. Bra med gratis wifi även om den var långsam och krävde att man loggade in flera gånger ibland. Ett minus för badrumsdörren som var en skjutdörr, och dessutom saknade lås. Första rummet luktade avlopp, det vi bytte till var bättre men saknade aircondition som var ur funktion. Trevlig personal i receptionen, Tråkig frukost + för frukten. Långt att gå från city til hotellet. Hotellet var som en bunker.

Ligger som sagt två kvarter NV om busstation Nord, dit man kommer om man tar skyttelbussen från Girona. Modern design och bra badrum, med både dusch och badkar. Gratis vatten i kylskåpet, som fylldes på varje dag. 25 minuters långsam promenad ner till havet, ca. 2 km. Trevligt att jogga ned till havet och sedan jogga på strandpromenaden, även om det […] var sten/asfalt. Bra frukostbuffe, om än inte perfekt, som kan köpas till vid incheckning. Cava och små omeletter med bacon står man sig länge på :-) Trevlig bar, med några bord ute på trottoaren, i skydd av lite växter. 10 minuters promenad till Triumfbågen och den trevliga Citadell-parken, och 15 minuter (åt andra hållet) till Sagrada Familia. 25 minuter till La Rambla, och den jättelika saluhallen där. Rent och fräscht hotell som fyller sitt syfte att sova på. Inte speciellt charmigt, hotellfoajen är inte speciellt inbjudande och du blir inte "sugen" på att spendera någon överflödig tid där. Ett försök till att vara modernt och avskalat (nordiskt) men som känns som ett konferenshotell än ett mysigt hotell att spendera en weekend på.

The staff were snobbery and not all that willing to be helpful. The hotels is a little dated. Beds were comfy. Good central location to all the sites. Parking close by but very expensive.

This place was great for a weekend break in Barcelona and it seemed most things were only a 20min walk away. It's situated in a nice, quiet location and when I arrived the staff at reception were very helpful producing a map and giving suggestions of places to go.

October 2012 Excellent location with a 20 min walking to most sight seeing spots. The hotel is well maintained, clean and all the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast expensive at 15 euro but a great value basic breakfast available in the bar area next to the breakfast room. Coffee,Orange juice and toast with marmalade 3.90 euro.

We are a young American family with a good bit of European travel under our belts. We were very pleased with what we found. Incredibly helpful/friendly staff (they held our bags until our room was ready 2 hours before advertised). The room was very clean and modern and included FREE water in the fridge if you can believe it. Very easy to walk to La […] Sagrada Familia, the water, and La Rambla. We had 2 showers on our room that was interesting. The room was clean enough, but they need to work a bit on the maintenance and repaint and shine things more often. We and had plenty of room to put our two large bags and also closet space. Nice amenities, including a pad to clean your shoes. Towels were a bit old but not broken, just not too white. […] We got 4 small bottles of water free in the mini refrigerator. Staff friendly and helpful, room very clean and well equipped. 15 minutes walk from main attractions and there is a Metro station 5 minutes away. Breakfast good too. I would stay here again.

A very spacious, modern reception area leads to pleasant, comfortable rooms. Quiet and safe-feeling environment. Free wi-fi in bedrooms worked fine for me. Well equipped bathrooms with good showers - both a large walk-in one and fixed shower-set over the bath. We (2 adults with a 2 year old) stayed at Hotel Ayers for 4 days. Customer service was excellent. Although hotel is not located in the main Las Ramblas area and not walking distance away to the main locations, it is very close to Metro. Hotel room was very nice and clean and very apt for us. Hotel service was very good, but I would advise not to totally […] trust what the conceirge tell and instead do your own research. Ex. we booked the Flamenco show for next night. We were told seats are reserved, but when we reached,we came to know that seats were on first-come basis. So, we did not get the best seats. This hotel is a very decent 4-Star Hotel. Only gripe would be that it is a little far from the main plaza (about 20min walk). Other than that, very modern and sleek.

Pros: The bed was quite firm (which I loved) and, with a lovely set of curtains that effectively blocked all light, and a sound-insulating door, I slept like a stone. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked, the bathroom was beautiful, and the fridge was not filled with overpriced junk that I wouldn't bother paying for anyway. The location is […] good - it's a 15-minute walk to the Barri Gothic quarter, which is very doable in a beautiful city such as Barca. It's also very close to two metro stations, meaning travel throughout the city is very quick. The neighborhood was quiet and appeared reasonably safe. A few supermercats are nearby, so buying water and fruits on the way out was a simple affair. Aesthetically pleasing. Cons: Seriously... 4 stars and not a single clothes iron in the entire hotel? The internet signal within the room was very weak. I needed to stand in the hall to use it on my iPod and the connection failed on a BlackBerry and Android-based phone. Time for a new system, guys. The breakfast was probably good, but at the price they offered and with so many cafes nearby, why would I pay that much? The air conditioner, while in "standby", had an impressive squeaky wheel noise that helped drown out noise outside the room. (Perhaps this should be a pro.) I didn't bother complaining. Summary: I liked this place. I walked by a few hotels that I'd stayed at before in Barcelona and remembered how much I hated going back to them at the end of the day. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Nice neighborhood, convenient to metro. Wireless internet worked maybe one third of the time. The room's air conditioning sounded like a helicopter landing, but it had to be on since the room's only opening window opened to the atrium (faces in the hotel, not outside). The desk people were helpful. Did not opt […] for the 15 euro breakfast. Bathroom was very nice with a shower and a bathtub separate. Fridge was a nice addition. we stayed in Ayre casp in Barcelona for 2 nights. Very closed to Arch de Triomf metro stop, convenient for going to all the usual landmarks in Barcelona. Very helpful staff at the reception. The room is clean and comfortable. Wifi is free but was a bit slow. Also free mineral water in the fridge each day.

Smells like sewer although we were told that it is a city wide problems so not sure if this is corect. They were very accomodating and we changed rooms several times-4 times in 3 nights due to no AC working, then changed to a smoking room, then changed to a sewer smelling bathroom and then to one that was not as smelly. I thought this hotel was marvellous, really modern looking and a great position. Staff were helpful and the only complaint I had was I could not get my smartphone to work with the wifi. We were on a short break and walked everywhere and we really liked the central location.
