Mycket lätt att ta sig hit med flygbuss som stannar vid placa Espania, sedan 7 min gångväg. Bussen kostar ungefär en tiondel av vad taxin till hotellet kostar.Det tar ungefär lika lång tid. Stora fräscha rum! Metron ligger precis över gatan.

rent och snyggt hotel, trevlig personal. Stort rum. Det sämsta var att ena sängen var utsliten så det var som att ligga i en hängmatta.

Ett väldigt bra och prisvärt hotell med bra läge till turistkvarteren och stranden.

A hotel with a perfect location, just above the metro station of Poble Sec (exit Parlament). Easy to travel in most directions from the hotel. Maximum a 10 min. walk to Plaza Espanya where the busses to the airport and Camp Nou stopped. A breakfast including both cold and some warm food. The Spanish just don't know how to make a cup of tea... otherwise […] good. The cleaning of the room was fine but there was some hair left in the bath tub from former guests. (Me and my husband are both blond and the hair was black, so it was not ours!!) No English news channels on the TV at all. Annoying to not know what was going on in the world. Over 50 Spanish channels. Noisy corridor, the room was not very sound proof. A bit of a hostel feeling, but overall a good hotel in its price range. Läs mer

Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra rum, enda nackdelen var att vi fick ett "smoking room". Luktade inte så fräscht men man vande sig som tur var. Metro låg precis mitt över gatan och tog ca 10 min till La Ramla, perfekt! Vi tog bussen till stranden och hållplatsen var verkligen 5 steg utanför entrén. Trafiken utanför på nätterna var lite störande […] men det får man väl förvänta sig i en storstad. Frukosten kostade € 9.50 och var inte värd det i mitt tycke! Kanonbra och billigt hotell för att vara så centralt. Tillhörande garage finns. Testade ej frukosten som kostade 8,50 euro per dag vill jag minnas. Ett halt stenkast från tunnelbanan gör det lätt att ta sig omkring. Trevlig personal och bra standard på rummen.

Enda som inte var perfekt var att man var tvungen att byta tunnelbanalinje för att komma till stranden. Alla andra sevärdigheter inom räckhåll! Bör vara fyrstjärnigt!

Mycket nöjd! Det var ett trevligt hotell med bra service. Kändes fräsch och bra faktiskt bättre än jag förväntat mig.

Clean and delicate rooms. Good space. Free safebox with digital, self-chosen code. Overall, I found my stay at Hotel Silken Concordia to exceed my expectation for at hotel in this price range. Clean room and mostly very friendly staff (some exceptions, though) made this a pleasant stay. I was able to check in early (8am) and check out (late). The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff made coffee from the espresso machine on request. No complaints really. I would happily stay there again.

Stayed in room 604. The room needs paint because of water damage. The room was dusty. The bed lamps did not work and it took two days to get them fixed. Some of the staff in the reception was qualified and helpful. But others where not. The hotel has a metro station just outside and the neighborhood does not have many tourists. Started off by a non-working safe in the room, but receptionist was very friendly and helped me out by replacing the batteries. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very noisy as it seemed to be located next to the heating or washing room (don't know), which gave quite some background noise. On the same […] floor was the base for the cleaning people, which caused quite some noise in the early morning, which made me wear my earplugs throughout most of my stay. There is free internet (www only), although you have to enter user/pass every time you use it. Breakfast buffet is nice, but rather expensive at nine eur-os. Completely uncomparable to a three-course lunch menu for nine eur-o in most local bars/restaurants. Except for the noise, I would definitely recommend the hotel! Läs mer

the front entrance was very welcoming compared to the neighbourhood it was in, although we were just one stop away from Espanya, where the magic fountains were. when we got in our rooms, look very modern. Air condition worked great. TV was huge, beds were clean. Bathroom was big and clean and good, powerful running hot water. very conveniently located […] near the subway Poble Sec, just a one minute walk and less, but just be careful which exit you get out from. Stores close around the hotel pretty early. only thing open at night was the gas station. Overall, hotel room was awesome, felt safe, clean and had a very enjoyable sleep. Definitely will recommend it to people. oh, to get there, take Aerosop Bus, the airport shuttle to Espanya then subway to the next stop Poble Sec...or if you want, you can walk to the the hotel, took us around 15 min or so so not too bad. oh last thing that i was impressed is the stuff they had in the washroom including toothbrush and a small sewing kit. they TV had a lot of channels too, and good lighting in the room Plus free wifi!! Not as close to the main street Las Ramblas or to the good beach as advertised but still a very great hotel. These places are accessible by walking for about 30 minutes but the buses/metro might be a better idea. However, this hotel is really close to the Magic Fountain and sports arena.

This hotel was wonderful. I have nothing bad to say at all! It was stylish, comfortable, the staff friendly. The location was great - quiet but close to everything.

The hotel was great - a large and very clean room with a fridge (great when you're self catering!!!). It was a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Metro ride to down town. Definitely a great choice!!!

This hotel is away from the famous touristy spots but is just across from the Poble Sec Metro Station. Walking north from the hotel will take you to Placa Espana. Walking south from the hotel will take you to Drassaness and the cruise terminals.

The hotel was just a block away from the metro. Very friendly staff and food at the hotel was good. The room was also quite spacious. I would stay at this hotel again.

if you want a comfy bed then do NOT stay here!!! bed feel like cardboard. they do look really nice in the picutre but in reality they are horrible. the room were extremely clean and very nice but if you are looking for comfort or warmth do not stay here. also beware of the shower. the curtain will continue to hugg you while you shower... it is scary […] and not comfortable while taking a shower. the location is a bit far from where you want to be but not horrible. if you are staying somewhere on a budget this place is not bad. the front desk is soooo friendly, the rooms are nice, very clean so overall not bad. Again, if you are looking for a really nice room, comfort, nice sheets, soft bed, and a nice shower then this place wouldn't be for you. Läs mer

We took a red bus 46 from the Barcelona airport upon the advice of a fellow reviewer. It took us a good 15 mins of rolling our luggage down the road after alighting from the last stop. A good way to save money but only do this if you have manageable baggage cos it is quite a distance to walk. The hotel is on the same side as the bus stop. We arrived […] earlier than the official check in time but the hotel staff was nice enough to let us have a room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning only works in the evening so the afternoon was hot and stuffy in the room. We had to open the window to let in the cool air which was an acceptable solution. Great amenities and lots of eateries around the neighbourhood. We found a good Chinese restaurant, Dongling about 5 mins walk across the road, left of the hotel. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Small room and hard bed as expected in a European hotel. But all this we expect. Our only complaint was the room was very hot. Neither the heat or air was turned on. The window was locked and the front desk could not help at night. So the next day a maintenance man helped get it open only to realize it opened about 6 inches […] and did not help. The heat made it really uncomfortable. Besides that it was fine. The location was great short walk to subway and tour buses and restaurants. Läs mer

We went for a long weekend and wanted somewhere at a reasonable rate to stay.Some reviews complained of the location but we were delighted that for a 3 star hotel the Silken Concordia was very clean and the room we got on the top floor was great.Just across the street was the metro which takes you wherever you want to go.I would recommend this hotel […] to anyone wanting a short break in Barcelona who is on a budget. A clean hotel with 20min access to le Ramblas to the right and Pl Espanyol to the left. However, pls note that the hotel does not have money changing service & the closest one you could find was at Le Ramblas.

The staff were very helpful and friendly our room was ready when we arrived also it is opposite the metro station .there are loads of tapas bars and restaurants in the area plus it is only a 10 minute walk to las ramblas.Also when we checked out our room the hotel looked after our luggage for us.

Fellow Travellers if you are on a short or weekend break to Barcelona then this is the hotel for you. Its very central (15Mins walk to Las Ramblas) and the hotel itself is very clean and well maintained with airy comfortable rooms and a very reasonable rate.We have been twice already and will stay again on our next visit to this fantastic city.

the hotel is located near the metro on the main street so you can walk by at night 2 station from ramble the hotel is clean and the service is good.

Clean modern hotel with pleasant & accommodating staff. However the location of the hotel is a bit rough, the surrounding area is a bit dodgy, however it is just a 20 min walk to La Rambla and there is a Metro station just across the road. Rooms weren't well sound proofed so the street traffic was quite loud. But for the price I could not complain.

The hotel's location across the street from the Metro station is very convenient and the front desk staff is great. They made excellent suggestions for each of our questions and seemed to enjoy helping us. The hotel's condition needs upgrading - the hall carpets are worn and the rooms need to be freshened. We picked this hotel because of its location. It is close to the metro and to major tourist attractions. The staff was very helpful, very knowledgeable. The breakfast was OK. The room was comfortable and clean-I am very sensitive to odors and this room was odor-free! We liked the firm mattress. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice room with the new furniture, free safe and TV with 3 English channels. 20 meters from metro-very convenient location. Friendly staff English-speaking.

The hotel was in a good location (near a metro, walking distance to ramblas, and easy to get taxis from the main road). Romms were clean, and we were very happy, especially given the price. Would definitely return.

Staff were friendly although we didnt speak to them tooo much. Location was perfect as was only 2 metro stops or about 15 minute walk from La Ramblas. Room was cleaned daily with no faults whatsoever there. Didn't use the restaurant so no opinion there. Overall, a nice clean hotel in the centre of Barcelona!
