"Very clean and nice staff"
This was our first time visiting Chicago and the surrounding area. Very impressed by the hotel. Close to the Metra Train to get into Chicago. Our room was very clean, nice size, and most comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.Verifierad gästrecension

"Everything is off"
While at first glance it looks pretty good the hotel has way too many letdowns. Internet is excruciatingly slow as to be almost useless (both wired and WIFI). Heater controls only pretend to work - its below freezing outside yet you can't get the room colder than 75 no matter what you set it to. Food is way overpriced and mostly terrible. "Great Hotel"
Great hotel. Hard to find, even with a GPS. It sits in a business area and blends in with all the other businesses. But great, clean, very comfortable place. The bed was outstanding. We were there for our son's graduation from the Navy. It was only about 20 minutes from the Base. The restaurant was good too, and they have a nice computer room to print […] out boarding passes and such. The only complaint I have, was that the two people working the front desk were not very helpful with local directions or other information we were seeking. They barely spoke English very well. "Classy hotel and very reasonable!"
The rooms were large and comfortable, and very clean. The bed was amazing, with a fluffy down comforter and lots of pillows. It was as nice as the Westin we stayed in on my husband's business trip for nearly half the price. It was a bit of a drive to the city but well worth it-the value for the dollar was great. "Good location"
Everything was great except for our experience with room service on Sunday morning. We ordered 2 continental breakfasts for a cost of $23 and we received 2 cups of coffee and 2 glasses of juice. When we question the guy who delivered it he said he would check which was fine. A few minutes later we received a phone call from room service questioning […] why we wanted the basket of Danish that we checked off on the menu. A few minutes after that we received 4 small Danish stopped to a plate with plastic wrap. The whole experience made us feel like we were an inconvenience for the room service staff. Now we talk about our weekend and say "it was perfect except for the room service".When we checked out the counter staff never asked about our stay. Neither of these issues would keep us from returning to this hotel. The locatin is great, the train to the city is nearby and beats driving back and forth in the traffic. "Ok but not great for the price"
We booked ahead and checked in early but still got rooms with one bed and a pullout couch instead of two beds. The Internet cost an extra ten bucks. The TV remote didn't work. The bathroom only had 2 towels and had shampoo and 2 lotions but no conditioner. The bed was comfy but the pullout not so much. Rooms are big and the area is very quiet but hard […] to find. "Good for business travelers in Deerfield area"
Generally, we had a good stay. My biggest complaint is that only one elevator was working the day we checked out. It was really hard because we had lots of luggage and every elevator was full. Our other guests who stayed at the hotel finally took an up elevator and then waited to come down. That was the only way they could all get on. There was no bell […] staff either. We made reservations for 2 other people to stay at our hotel but the front desk staff were unable to find the reservations. Luckily, I had a printout of everything. Hotel is easy to get to, centrally located for this trip, clean and comfortable. I had dinner at the bar on night and the steak I had was perfect! Probably one of the best I've ever eaten, I was pleasantly surprised about that. Only complaint is that it was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant/bar area. This hotel was superb. It's hidden location was calm and peaceful. the room was classy but very comfortable-a place to unwind. Unfortunately it was also overrun with kids from some tournament and they were noisy, disrespectful, running in the halls, etc. Such a classy place needs to better screen these huge groups of kids and make accompanying adults […] more responsible for their charges. The hotel room is comfortable, and the air conditioner is quiet (a plus). But there are little things which annoyed me. 1. The tissue box was almost empty when we checked into the room, we had to ask for another one right away. 2. I had to sign a check-out note from the front desk in order to use swimming pool towels, and return them afterwards. In […] all the other hotels I had ever stayed, swimming pool towels are always by the pool for guests to use. 3. They have a sealed $4.50 water bottle in the room. Room was very clean. Two of the three nights that I stayed, I had to ask for towels and wash cloths. We could not have been happier with our three night stay at this all suite hotel. The room was very cozy, with lovely french doors separating the living and sleeping spaces. There were a few odd stains on the curtains, and the cupboards could have used a dusting, but overall the room was very clean.The bathroom was large, but the stand up shower (with […] separate tub) in our room had only a soap dish (i.e., no place to put toiletries). Having a microwave; refrigerator; and (2!) sharp, flat panel TVs allowed us to squirrel in for a long weekend without having to leave the hotel after picking up supplies. Note: The hotel is surrounded by office buildings, so walking to a restaurant or a grocery store isn't possible. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very professional and accommodating. The lounge is large and welcoming. The pools are pretty small, but very popular with visiting kids. Expect lots of traffic in the water on hot days. Stayed the weekend with my wife and 6 year old daughter. Hotel was clean, quite and comfortable. Loved the king suite we had with a separate living area/pullout sleeper. Very close to highways for easy acess to downtown. Lots of good restaurants close by. My only complaint was having to pay for in-room internet acess. I don't know why any hotel charges […] for this.
