I stayed on the 2nd floor and the narrow circular stairwell towers were not nice. Sidewalk maintenance is also needed.

Nice room, but way overpriced. Lake Michigan view partially obstructed by a large tree. Pool clean, but had to walk accross the parking lot to get to it. Really should be closer to the premium rooms. We stayed in an average room which was nicely appointed and quite comfortable except for the very outdated, loud, blaring air conditioning unit which was almost impossible to adjust because it meant getting down on your knees and having the air blasted in your eyes, making it impossible to see the controls. Still, "adjusting" it didn't change a thing. […] Also, the odd system for wifi was confusing and had glitches. It didn't't work right for the two days we were there. Had a wonderul stay, the suite is more than adequate for 3-4 people. Like the mini kitchen too. Our room faced Lake Michigan which was nice.

The room was spacious: an efficiency with 2 queen-sized beds w/a balcony - very nice. If they tell you that it has a view of the harbor, however, be aware that may mean if you stand up on the balcony you can see a 3" square of the water. We were disappointed not to have a good view. The room & location were great.

Our room was just perfect, a view of Lake Michigan, a fireplace, very inviting bath and a warm and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to others.

Very comfortable and close to everything. Nice for walking and seeing boats. Nice access to the beach and getting sunset photos. Also nice for touring the area, fishing and taking boat trips.

From the looks online this hotel looked great for weekend away. Upon checking in to our room I noticed a musty smell that would not go away after we aired out our room. There was also mold growing in the bathroom and makeup and dirt on one of the pillows. We will definately not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The Weathervane has welcomed guests on the north side of the Charlevoix drawbridge for as long as I can remember. It is a great location -- an easy walk to town or to the beaches. The rooms are standard motor hotel, and the hotel itself is a little tired in its structure and furnishings. The continental breakfast is the same as you would get at a Comfort […] Inn, but it does give you an option if you prefer not to eat in town. The Lake Michigan Suite has a pretty nice view and a decent small balcony, but it is a tight arrangement for three (or four) people, and the rooms seem to be set up backward (you have to walk through the bedroom to get to the sitting room). Bathroom amenities are adequate but no more -- towels are small. One of the best things about the Weathervane, other than the location, is the service. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, but I would love to see the Weathervane get some refurbishing. Läs mer

Room was ready and very nice. Perfect location. Good breakfast which I took back to my room and ate on the balcony. Would love to stay in that room again!

The location is great but the hotel is dated and overpriced. I was given a small nondescript room, no view, no wi-fi reception (as advertised) and the room phone would not ring, missed wake-up call. Some of the staff was friendly, others seemed indifferent. There are better hotel values in this area.

Very nice hotel which overshoot my expectations. Unfortunately weather was mostly bad during our staying. About the hotel: food could be better for breakfast, especially for vacationers who likes full one. Otherwise it was pleasant experience.
