Hotell Holiday Inn Express & Suites Omaha Airport - Carter Lake

The hotel was a very short drive to the airport and downtown. The rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Very courteous staff (Thanks to Jeff at the front desk for great dining recommendations). A GREAT deal for the price.

Love the airport shuttle!

The hotel staff were amazing. They were friendly, helpful, personable, and went out of their way to provide great customer service. We rented a King Master Suite for the weekend, and it was clean, spacious, and inviting The staff washes all badding daily, no comforters being used by numerous guest. The breakfast was fabulous and consisted of omelets, […] sausage, and pancakes. The only drawback for us was the bedroom in our suite was open to the living area, affording no privacy. My 13 year old stepson slept in the living room on the sofa bed, and numerous times I wished there was a door separating the bedroom off from the living area. Great hotel. I'd stay here again. The hotel was very clean and modern. There were no strange smells, cleanliness issues, or anything of the sort. What was especially nice was how close it is to the airport (and you can't hear the planes!) and that there was a very, very nice selection at the continental breakfast. Pancakes, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cereal, milk, juice, frest […] fruit, granola bars, etc. A great place to stay the nice before you board the plane! Läs mer

Nice clean room hotel.Close to many area outings.Close to airport.Lots of police trolling the area.Makes you feel somewhat protected.This hotel is accross from a gas station if you need anything it's right there.

We were guests at this hotel on 12/16/11, and were very happy with everything; from Jeffrey, the desk clerk who checked us in, to our room, the shuttle service to the airport, the continental breakfast, and the pool and hot tub facilities - everything was excellent. We would most certainly stay here again.

I got in late after a long day of travelling. I was able to take the complimentary shittle to the hotel. The staff was friendly. Everything was in order. I slept through breakfast, but it looked like a good spread. I didn't get to check out a lot of the hotel, but everything looked new and nice. This is the first time I have traveled with my 2 big dogs. The staff was very welcoming. They had a nice little area out back for the dogs to walk. Everyone was very friendly. They also had a nice wine reception in the evening with some snacks.

My bigest compalint was there was a light smell in our room I think from having to trun the heat one because it got cold like in th 60 when we arrived there

The beds were very comfortable and seemed clean. Our room was quite large although I saw that others were not. Our room was quiet since I asked to be on the side of the hotel facing the distant junk yard versus the busy gas station mart right out front. There was some sort of splatter stain on the curtains. The color scheme was quite drab, olive and […] brown. The air conditioning unit was dismantled and the window only opened 2 inches, luckily it did not get to overly warm. We slept well so overall for the price we were not disappointed, although not impressed by any means. We missed the free breakfast, it closed at 9:30 when we had thought it was open until 11. I had eaten their breakfast on a prior trip and amusingly it had consisted of a Velveeta cheese egg omelete. Not exactly "clean eating," even when you scrape off the over processed cheese. Läs mer

The hotel itself is new and in very good shape. Everything is super clean and the rooms are updated and look very nice. Its very close to the airport also. The only issue was that there is only a subway and a strip club within a half mile of the place. You have to drive about 2 miles to downtown Omaha for anything to eat besides subway. There is a gas […] station and a subway across the street. And the strip club is next door. Its a great hotel though and I would stay there again. You get a really nice place for a fair price. It was ok, not the best experience we had at this hotel. Stains on the comforter. The sausage was not cooked all the way, the cinnamon rolls was not warmed up. When we first came down for breakfast there was nothing I had to go find someone. Then the girl that came to put food out was wearing pants that was to big and when she was putting food out her […] pants came down a little and you could see her butt crack. This hotel was nice enough the pool small and the hot tub was luke warm. The sheets on our bed didn't look real clean they were very wrinked and amessed when you pulled down the covers for the night and the couch bed didn't have a cover over the matterice. Hotel very close to airport but did not hear any airplanes. The room was clean and spacious. Service was excellent. Everyone very helpful with everything we asked about. Enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Very clean, hot tub and pool, and a couple cardio machines that I used. Two drawbacks: lots of children (so don’t think hot tub time is to relax) and the comforters on the beds are thin. Would recommend to others, especially if you have pets.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the gal keeping the buffet bar filled was excellent. The food was fresh and hot. (She made a real hit with the kids--made them hot chocolate)! The swimming pool was fun for the kids--the access to the motel was easy--the stay overall was wonderful!

Hotel is undergoing some construction outside but that does not distract from the Holiday Inn Express experience. Clean nice rooms, no wired internet but wireless is strong and fast. Located close to Omaha Airport.

Clean and quiet,Would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The room had a few things on the carpet and was a little dusty. We had the air set on 64 because it was hot in the room but that didn't seem to be very accurate cuz the room didn't cool off very much during the nite. The sheets on the bed had a good smell to them and the beds were firm. Overall […] we had enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast in the morning had a lot of great choices. Läs mer

Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel. We had two small dogs with us and for being a pet-friendly hotel the rooms were very nice and clean. We were also impressed by the hot breakfast that was offered. We would certainly stay again if we ever go back to Omaha.

We were delighted with our two night stay. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was very clean. The pool was nice. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
