Hotell Avenue Hotel - Frederiksberg

Vi bodde en natt i familjerum. Bra standard, trevlig avslappnad hotell lounge med bar, lättare måltider och lite spel och böcker för barn. Fruksoten var bra - med det mesta samt en pysselhörna för barnen. Skyddad parkering på innergård, dock 100 Dkr extra, men värt det.

Ett otroligt charmigt hotell med trevlig person, skön lounge och riktigt fräsch frukost. Ligger en bit från stan men det finns guldkorn i närheten, som till exempel sushirestaurangen runt hörnet.

Hotellet ligger jättebra. Mysiga kvarter med små butiker, barer och caféer uppblandat med allehanda konstiga affärer. Levande gator med en hör kontinental känsla. Hotellet ligger 10-15 min från centrum om man promenerar, vilket var helt ok. Hotellet självt var jättemysigt, fräscht, trevlig personal och med en hemtrevlig atmosfär. Allt var fräscht och […] snyggt, framförallt frukosten på morgonen vilken märktes att de lagt ner tanke på. Skönt också att inte behöva jaga upp på morgonen och leta frukostställe. Att hotell erbjuder frukost verkar vara en uteslutande svensk företelse. Frukosten serverades fram till 10.30 (men man kunde lätt sitta till 11.00) så ingen stress där heller. Bra läge i närheten av centalaste Köpemhamn. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter. Rummen var bra och frukost klart godkänd. Rekommenderas!

Städpersonalen för vårt rum borde utbildas i det som är det allra viktigaste nämligen att göra rent badrummet och toaletten. Den ska vara desinficerad och ren när nya gäster kommer, allt för att förhindra spridning av sjukdomar. Om man inte bryr sig om detta eller är beredd att ta med en toalett-borste och klorin för att själv göra rent är det OK. Personalen […] i övrigt var mycket bra, trevlig atmosfär och bra frukost trots litet utbud. Hotellet ligger på promenad-motions-avstånd till Ströget, Tivoli och järnvägsstationen. Vi hyrde ett familjerum som var stort och bra men observera att hotellet visar fel bild av familjerummet där man tror att det är två rum med en dörr emellan men det är ett A-plus-rum. Familjerummet är ett enda stort rum, dubbelsäng samt en bäddbar soffa. Det är säkrast att ta med öronproppar ifall man får rummet mot gatan, trafiken kan vara störande om man är känslig för ljud. We got a great room with a round couch in a mini-tower in it. Great value for the money! The hotel staff was fantastic and had really understood the concept of service. We have stayed in many hotels but only seldom been met by such a genuine interest in service itself and especially their guests. To find a downside, it would be the lack of A/C in the […] room. Nice interior in the lobby with a fire-place and big comfortable couches in an enjoyable atmosphere. Very comfortable beds and nicely furnished rooms with a tasteful touch! Great hotel! Det var ett bra hotell, nära bussar och metron. Det fanns inte så mycket att göra i omgivningen, det var lite svårt att hitta en restaurang att äta på vid 4-tiden på en söndag. Detta är helt klart ett prisvärt hotell.

Ett trevligt inrett hotell med glad och trevlig personal. Badrummet luktade visserligen illa och vi hade fått ett rum för rökare vilket kändes lite äckligt, men utöver detta var det en trevlig vistelse. Frukosten var mycket god. Kvarteret där hotellet låg var lite tråkigt men en kvarts promenad bort ligger ju Tivoli så det gjorde inte så mycket.

Vi är generellt liksom tidigare besökare mycket nöjda. Reste som två vuxna med två småbarn. Bra frukost och barnstolar finns liksom liten leksakslåda. Finns en liten barmeny med enstaka rättter typ pizza och nachos men hade gärna kunnat vara lite större. Dock finns en trevlig och bra italiensk restaurang ett kvarter bort. Jättefint och fräscht hotell, modern och trendig inredning. Bra och mysigt läge, nära till det mesta. God frukost. Känns mer som 4 stjärnigt.

Ett jättetrevligt hotell med bra personal som fanns tillgängliga hela dygnet. Underbar hotellfrukost med bra danska alternativ. Har inget att anmärka på förutom att det låg längre iväg än vad vi trodde eftersom vi först trodde vi skulle kunna gå dit från tågstationen.. Dock lite för ambitiöst :) Mycket nöjda!!

Under weekenden med familjen i Köpenhamn bodde vi på Avenue Hotel. Hotellet var fräscht med en trevlig innergård. Hotellet gav bra service och trots den stora vägen utanför var det rätt så lugn och tyst i rummen. Frukosten var som man förväntar sig - rätt så mycket att välja på och varierad mellan dagarna. Det blev en del långa promenader eftersom hotellet […] ligger lite utanför de riktigt centrala delarna (Ströget, Tivoli och Nyhavn). Barnen tyckte det var lite jobbigt att gå så mycket, men det var inga problem förutom längden. Alla stora vägar hade bra övergångställen och gångstråk/trottoarer. Läs mer

Ett hotell som jag tveklöst skulle rekommendera till mina vänner och bekanta och som jag själv skulle kunna tänka mig att återkomma till. Jag och mina kompisar bodde i ett familjerum och fick på så sätt en mycket prisvärd vistelse. Frukosten var otroligt fräsch och god, men äggröran och baconen lyste med sin frånvaro. Avenue Hotel är ett mycket bra hotell att bo på. Det var lagom nära till centrum, tivoli mm. Hotellet hade väldigt moderna och nya hotellrum. Mycket frächt och bra. God frukost. Jag skulle boka hotellket igen vid nästa vistelse med familjen!

En liten mysik, butique-stil hotell. Alldeles underbar frukost och vackra, funktionella rum i ett slitet hus som dock renoverats smakfullt . Trevlig, tillmötesgående service och 10-15 minuters promenad till ultimata stadscentrum inget problem.

Hotellet och personal vad toppen och med en härligt känsla gällande design och bemötande. Vi hade två väldigt varma dagar i Köpenhamn så jag det blev för varmt i rummen( ingen air kondition ) och om man har fönster mot stora gatan så får man inte mycket sömn. Att hotellet är tre stjärnor stämmer väl när det gäller rummen övrigt är det fyra.

Trevligt bemötande och bra hjälp från all personal. Vi fick hjälp med att boka bord på en restaurang utan att ens behöva be om det. Jättefräsch frukost med färska frukter och stort urval av pålägg och teer. Olika varma rätter varje morgon. Modernt inrett rum med skön säng och rymligt badrum. Plastmuggar i stället för glas drog ner helhetsintrycket […] något, men påverkar inte nöjdheten i stort. We loved the Avenue Hotel, especially their staff and the cozy and warm lounge area. Most evenings we would relax in the lobby lounge area where we could warm up by the fire, sip Glogg, and enjoy the ambience. The room was perfect and just right for our needs. We could easily walk to the sights or catch the Metro which was just a couple of blocks away. […] We would highly recommend the Avenue Hotel and would definitely stay there again if we go to Copenhagen. It was nice, modern, clean plus great breakfast and affordable price. It's everything you can ask for. But you must be aware where this hotel is located exactly. I may save some money on hotel this time. But I think I got to spend much more money on taxis at the end of the day. Also once you are back in the hotel, there is really nothing going on in […] the area. You have to go back out to the city center for dinner, drinks or anything. When I looked up the map, I thought it was close enough and walkable. But when I was actually there, I thought it could have been better to get a room closer to the city center. Also I didn't feel so warm with the reception crews. maybe it's Danish style. I don't know. They were kind of cold and didn't hesitate to say no to the customers. I would stay here again. It was a nice walk from several neighborhoods. close to some great restaurants: I would highly recommend the greek place a few blocks away, Akropolis. The breakfast buffet was awesome! the elevator is teeny-weeny, don't fall over laughing when you open the door!

Really helpful staff here, especially when we needed our room early after a flight. 'Wrong' side of the lakes for central Copenhagen, but easily walkable and on bus routes. Direct metro to airport. We really enjoyed our stay at Avenue Hotel. The best part was definitely the breakfast, which was included in our room rate. It was a beautiful and tasty spread and a great way to start the day. We were initially placed in a smoking room after requesting non-smoking. However they quickly fixed the problem and we ended up in a room on the 4th floor with […] a great view. I researched quite a bit and was impressed with what several website's reviews had claimed. Our 4 days there did not disappoint. Decent location to attractions...just a small walk. We really loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful, the beds VERY comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms had enough space to move around in. We had two different rooms - because of our family size. Our ONLY complaint - in the room facing the street - we could not sleep. It was very hot (fine if we opened the windows) but the noise […] from the street was deafening. Our other room faced the back of the hotel and was very quite. Hung out in hotel a lot. Super Comfy and attractive lounge and patio. Breakfast perfect. Great Boutique hotel. Rented bikes and did the entire city in one day. Recommend that if you have good weather. It is worth upgrade to an A+ room. The upgrade is small and worth the extras. The hotel is easy to find, close to the Forum Metro station ( 5 min walk ). A taxi from the airport was 300Kr. The hotel is in a busy street close to the city centre. Reception staff were very pleasant and met us with a smile. The hotel was cosy and warm on arrival, a fire lit in the lounge area. The lounge area and bar are adjacent to the reception, […] lots of comfy sofas and big arm chairs. All very plain colours and clean lines, very Danish. Elegant and clean in appearance. A very small elevator ( three people squeeze in with two suitcases ) is just off the reception, adjacent to the main stair case to all floors. Our room was large and on the street side of the building. Lovely big sofa with lots of cushions, coffee table and chairs. Double bed with single duvets, the bed was comfortable and warm. My son get a roll away bed with a good mattress and nice duvet. The room was clean and tidy, bright with a view of the street. Double glazed windows with roller blinds. The room was very cozy and warm. The bathroom was not large, no bath but a good shower. The room was clan and tidy. Plenty of towels. The restaurant is on the ground floor breakfast from 06.30 until 10. Good bread and fresh croissants. Boiled eggs and cereals. The breakfast was good but my little guy missed his bacon and eggs. The buffet was continually replenished, the hotel was busy the weekend we were there. Overall we liked this hotel and would go back. Like everywhere in Copenhagen the quality of service is direct and very friendly. The room was large & clean - styled very scandinavian in minimalism. My only complaints - though I'm sure most hotels do this - is that a King/Queen bed is two singles pushed together with two single duvets. I roll around in sleep and find a single bed & duvet uncomfortable. […] However if you come in late from the bars you may find the sofas in the lobby a comfortable alternative. Many hotels claim to be child friendly but this one truly is. They take the extra step to provide impeccable service. The hot chocolate was served at the perfect temperature for eager little ones. They even engaged our daughters (3 and 6 yrs old) to decorate cookies and cut out pumpkins. The location was convenient for sight seeing and close walking […] distance to Tivoli Park. Our room and bath were large and comfortable. We had a view of the courtyard and noise was not a problem. The breakfast buffet included with our stay was excellent!

We stayed at the Avenue Hotel twice, before and after a 10 day cruise. The pluses: Good location, a few blocks from the Forum Metro and directly on intersecting bus lines. We could take a bus from the door to central Copenhagen or to our cruise ship. A traditional European-style hotel. Breakfast was great, and when we had to leave before breakfast […] hours, the night staff made coffee for us specially at no charge. The room was clean and very modern. The hotel fronts a major street, the Aboulevard., so there is a lot of traffic noise on the front side. There is no AC, so in warm weather be sure to request a room facing the back side, which is very quiet. The staff gladly stowed our baggage until check-in time and our room was available on-time. They also loaned us a US voltage adapter and a corkscrew. The free Wi-Fi was easily connected and speedy. The Aboulevard has some empty store fronts and a great deal of graffiti (like all of Copenhagen), but the other streets seemed OK, with many active small businesses. The Hotel has no restaurant. Good restaurants are at least two to three blocks away, towards the Forum. Overall, I recommend the Avenue Hotel as a Good to Better class hotel. Läs mer

Very attractive hotel interior. The bar area has loads of comfortable sofas, a fire and candles, and if the weather's good, a small candle-lit decking area great for lounging. I felt comfortable sitting reading on my own there or playing backgammon with the family. The staff were smiling and helpful. My kind of breakfast - delicious home-made brown […] breads, fruit, various healthy cereals, croissants, hams & cheese - enough to keep me going till mid- afternoon. Our family room was big, with one double bed and a large sofa-bed. It's on a main road, but on the 4th floor we had no particular problem with noise. Only downside is that it is about 20 minutes walk down a main road to Tivoli & the top of Stroget, which would be fine in decent weather or on a bike but not great in the rain. However buses run from outside and the Forum metro is 5 minutes away - only 2-3 stops to the centre or direct to the airport. This is a lovely boutique hotel which I would be happy to stay in again. Despite we were given a Smoking Room for the first night, but it was fixed in the next day, we were pretty satisfied with comfort and cleanliness of the room and all the hotel premises. The breakfast was very good, with fresh baked bread and good cheese, and fruits. Staff went above and beyond to make sure that we would have a pleasant stay. Locations […] was OK, 10 minutes walking to Tivoli park. We rented a Electric Bicycle from the hotel and that enabled us to be anywhere in the city in less than 15 min. without getting sweat. We had a quiet spacious room, very good breakfasts, friendly service and reasonable rates. In our case tt was well worth a slightly inconvenient location.

Great value. Friendly staff, large room, comfortable beds, great breakfast, free internet and in room safe. Short walk to downtown and they have bike rentals. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel for the price of the room. Along a busy road, but basically all the Copenhagen hotels are along busy roads. Not right downtown, but it's near the Metro and various bus stops. The location of this hotel is great. It isn't right downtown, but the walk there is very quick. The room is larger than most in Europe. Lovely decor, very friendly reception staff. Breakfast is scrumptious. And the bar/lobby is cozy. Would've liked a clock and a box of tissues in the room, but that's the only downside. Highly recommended hotel.
