Great location just meters from sea. A few but very good restaurant at walking distance. Very nice with pool and spa. Open fire was nice too. Breakfast was simple in crowded room. Will stay there again if in Cambria.

Lite äldre motell. Lätt att hitta och bara 500 m till hamnen med alla restauranger. Välstädat och fräscht för sin ålder. Bra service. Enklare vinprovning på sen eftermiddag för gästerna.

"Great hotel"
Nothing bad to say about this place. Nice, big, clean rooms. Good free wi-fi. Free parking. Good location close to Hearst Castle and a good midpoint stop on the highway one between Los Angeles and San Francisco. San Simeon is basically 4 or 5 hotels and 2 or 3 restaurants, thats it. "Prisvärt hotell"
Just när vi bodde på Days Inn höll de på att måla och renovera hela hotellet vilket var lite störande men det kommer bli mycket fint. Vårt rum var helt klart. Bra frukost med våffelmaskin bl a. Rum med två härligs fåtöljer och trevlig uteplats. Saknade ett kylskåp. Gratis wi fi. Kan rekommendera hotellet.Verifierad gästrecension
"San Simeon - orten som inte erbjuder något alls"
Hotellet är ett standardhotell i bra skick. Rummen är rena och fräscha. Frukosten är väldigt enkel. Hotellet ligger i San Simeon som är en liten samling byggnader, mest hotell. Det är väldigt nära till Hearst Castle men San Simeon har verkligen inget att erbjuda. Restaurangerna är usla och har höga priser och i övrigt finns det inget att göra på or […] ten. "Day's Inn worth staying longer."
Our stay at Day's Inn San Simeon was short but sweet. The room was very clean and comfortable as was the bathroom and the service was good. We had a very nice meal at the restaurant and would recommend it to anyone travelling through the area.Verifierad gästrecension

"handy stop over"
Nice renovated hotel, but South of San Simeon a mile or so, so we thought we had missed it when driving Southbound. It is on a slip road by teh coastal highway. there are a few restaurants nearby, and a little grocery store. Breakfast was in a separate room & had waffles, juice , toast, cinnamon cakes,cereal etc. we only stayed one night on our way […] from San fransisco to Los Angeles. Great location for Hearst Castle. Breakfast area was small. Hotel was very nice looking but NO elevator for second floor,we had to carry them up the stairs.The parking behind the office is small About 25 slots but they have a LARGE parking area behind main building.Just drive around the building which you have to go out to side street .Would stay there […] again. "Nice hotel, nice location near Hearst Castle"
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had a little trouble finding the hotel office in a separate building out by the road, but other than that enjoyed the stay. Our room looked like it had been refurbished relatively recently. The area where the hotel is located had a few restaurants, a package store, and a stairway to the beach. "Very convenient to the Castle.."

was ok and location convenient to castle and cambria- good value for price. only down heating system was locatet right next to bed. inches from head- terrible to get air blown to head while sleeping. ended up sleeping in more than chilly room as preferred cold to blower to head.Verifierad gästrecension

"Our overnight stay at Days Inn"
It looks fine from the outside, and the rooms appear to be undergoing a minor updating, but there are many minor annoyances that add up to a mediocre rating. Upon our arrival at 7pm, our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) tried to enter the lobby, only to find it locked. After ringing the bell, the proprietor came to the door, saw us, and only unlocked […] the door...rather than open it for us and greet us. Oh well. Our room was recently repainted, and the bedding was fine, although the comforter was thin, and the room heater was pretty loud. We had a first floor room, so when the plumbing was used upstairs, the water running down the pipes was very loud. The comp breakfast was fine and met my expectations. "Nice and clean but not very well motel"
Hotel is new renovated so that the room and the carpet in hallway are all clean and even new. But the smell is not very well also due to the its new upgrade project. The worst is they don't have laundry facility. It is uncommon as a good and qualified motel.Verifierad gästrecension från Expedia

This hotel is under new management and was undergoing extensive maintanence during our 2 night stay (heavy smell of paint and new carpeting in the halls). Although this was less than ideal, this is just a part of travel, and I actually credit the new owners for improving this facility; It looked as though they were investing quite a bit of money.
