Perfect if you've hired a car. The town centre is walkable but the beaches out by the dunes requires a bus or 35 minute trek. The pool area is lovely and as pictured although i wish the bar was open a little later than 4:30pm. Didn't try the restaurant as we cooked or went out. At first we were a bit grumpy (not with the staff) at ourselves because we felt we were being punished for booking through Hotels.com, therefore depriving the hotel of their full fee. Our first room was under repair and when we were sent to our second room, it was as far away as you can get. We needed a cheap one night stay and this was perfect. The hotel is a little dated but it had many good features notably size of room, which was really an appartment allowing self-catering. A varied buffet/breakfast was on offer at a reasonable cost. I've stayed in this hotel before and enjoyed it but was disappointed to find the pool snack bar closed for renovations but no work was being done on it. Is this just an excuse for cuts? Also no bar inside hotel. Although my room was very clean and towels changed regularly, the fridge door wouldn't close and the kettle lid was broken. This was my second stay at the Hesperia, and again I had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the apartment had everything I needed, and the fantastic pool area was a great place to hang out - especially during the days of the Saharan heatwave, when it was just too hot to do anything else. For me, one great advantage […] of the Hesperia is the mixed clientele - this is not just an English or German "ghetto", but attracts holidaymakers from all over Europe. The hotel is located in the old part of Corralejo, well away from the plastic English pubs offering roast dinners and the like, and the adjacent streets are full of real Spanish people - with washing hanging out of windows, and old men sitting in their vests outside bars. Some of the Hesperia's apartments therefore overlook some rather down-at-heel residential areas - but if that bothers you, you can always ask for a view of the sea or of the swimming pool. I've been here twice because it's very very cheap, in front of sea with a great view (last time I got a front sea balcony room with no surcharge). Clean, with free fast wifi in the lobby, a walking distance from city center, large room with kitchen. Honestly for that price you can't get any better in any island! I've been in 4 stars hotels in Corralejo […] that offer a way worse service. The pool area in this hotel is quite nice, but really that's about the only good point. The area around the hotel contains a large boarded up building and the hotel itself has seen much better days. The rooms were very basic but if you are leaving each day it doesn't really matter, but the worse thing was the beds were very uncomfortable as the matresses […] were so thin. I had seen the reviews on here before we went to the hotel, and I must say I didn't have high expectations. Was expecting something rather basic. I was overwhelmed by how beautiful the hotel is as soon as we arrived. The friendly blonde girl at the reception welcomed us and explained everything thoroughly. We had breakfast included and the last day […] we had an early flight so we wouldn't manage to catch the already paid breakfast so she offered us a generous take away! The architecture of the hotel is gorgeous and the pool area is just paradise. There are 3 pools, 2 big ones and one small one, and the sun beds are around them. The town is from what we were told the best for going out in the whole of the island, and it is very picturesque and pretty. The food at the hotel was very good, had a variety to choose from, and the quality was also good. I could not recommend this hotel enough, we had an amazing time and we would only stay there if we went back to Fuerte again. 5 stars all the way! Läs mer

Situated on the edge of the Old Town, you can follow the coast to the ferries, restaurants and bars or cut through straight to the centre in a matter of minutes walk. The hotel itself has 2 decent sized pools, 1 small paddling area and an attentive lifeguard. There is an out-door bar but doesn't serve snacks ! No matter, there is a well-stocked on-site […] supermarket. Plenty of items you will know from back home, and lots of good offerings from Spain and Germany, plus local Canarian wines. The hotel appears to be going through a phase of sprucing itself up, with the palm trees being trimmed, spots of masonry being tidied up. We had a small crack on our balcony wall - but so what ?, crack open a couple of bottles of wine, slice some cheese and enjoy the view - some will look out at the Atlantic, some will look inwards at the complex which looks rather lovely when the pool and surrounding lights are on, and some unfortunately will have a view of the boarded up building opposite and to the rear - ah well, you can't choose your neighbours. Security of this hotel is pretty good, as there is only one entrance and a tall surrounding fence around the perimiter should deter wrong-doers. Läs mer

Friendly staff, clean rooms, towels and sheets changed three times a week. The lounge sofa and chair are in need of some new foam however, if you spend very little time in your apartment (like me) it is not such an inconvenience. Lovely pool although search for a decent sunbed, many are in need of some TLC and very uncomfortable. On site supermarket […] has the basics and reasonably priced, main supermarkets - Hyperdino and Spar a 10 min stroll away. I really enjoyed my stay here. There was a good mix of nationalities (so definitely not an English ghetto) and the swimming pool was great. Carlos the lifeguard was very helpful and friendly, as were all the other members of staff I had dealings with. My apartment had a fine view of the crashing waves of the Atlantic and an entertaining pair of wind […] turbines. The accommodation is basic, rooms are kept reasonably clean -maid sevice 5 days per week , and clean towels every other day.Beds are very hard.No residents bar - the pool bar briefly opened once during our 12 day stay.If you are the type that wants hotel entertainment this place is not for you. I for one do not want to holiday in in a cat sanctuary. Good pool area with 3 pools - rent a toppa for sun bed from supermarket to improve comfort. Small well stocked supermarket. Free WIFI. This hotel as clearly seen better days and is sadly in a rapid state of decline which is consistent with the area in which the hotel is situated where there are several closed failed bars and restaurants and many empty apartments. Everything was OK but when I said I needed the internet connection to do some work each evening I was told that they only had wifi on most balconies and in communal areas. As we drove in (public transportation at Lanzarote is almost non-existent), we were a little hesitant if it was really our hotel, given how posh it looked from outside and how much we paid for it - and indeed it was! Everything was absolutely clean and spacious and the staff were very helpful and the place is very close to the boardwalk and beach, and […] yet away from the crowd. The room had enough utensils, ladles & spoons, hot plate, toaster, fridge and microwave. There is no wifi at the place, but there are two terminals at the reception for accessing internet (at approximately 1euro for 10min). The hotel was pretty average, relatively clean with a nice pool. It's good as far as location with easy access to the town, restaurants, and beaches. My only real complaint was that our room wasn't ready when we arrived and we had to wait for about two hours. Other than that, good value for money.

De foto die je op alle websites ziet is Niet de kamer die je krijgt. (die mag je voor 20euro per nacht extra wel omboeken..). typisch spaans appartement aan de kust. Erg erg simpel en eenvoudig. wel grote badkamer en ruime kamers. Receptie behulpzaam. Late check in, als je pech hebt om 17.00uur. Bed comfortabel, maar met ouderwetse dekens.

El tamaño y disposición de los apartamentos (al menos como el mio en la segunda planta) era muy buena, y la parte de Corralejo donde se encuentra el hotel, si bien algo apartado del pleno centro, es zona muy tranquila por la noche. Además, para los que van con coche, al frente del hotel hay una calle en la que sólo aparcan los huéspedes, por lo que […] suele haber mucho sitio. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser und das Hotelteam war jederzeit sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Appartments sind sauber und es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Möbel sind zwar schon etwas älter, aber noch völlig in Ordnung. Der kleine eigene Balkon rundet den Aufenthalt ab.

ottimo posto con ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo, camere spaziose , parti comuni ben organizzate bella piscina.. unico neo.. noi avevamo il solo pernottamento, e con solo 2 pentole vecchie e distrutte è assai complesso farsi da mangiare da soli, ma ci siamo riusciti!! consigliabile a chi non ha molte pretese..

- tout le personnel absolument charmant, disponible et agréable . Notre vue mer était super agréable! .Style de l'hôtel à notre goût...mais a vraiment besoin de rénovation!!!! Einrichtung des Appartements wie zu Großmutters Zeiten. Es wird nur sehr oberflächlich gereinigt. Auf die Sauberkeit der Zimmer wird wohl keinen großen Wert gelegt. Jede Kleinigkeit zur Selbstversorgung muss gekauft werden (z.B. Geschirrhandtuch, Spülschwamm, Kaffeefilter, usw.) Nicht gerade zu empfehlen!

Meget venlig service af personale. Også receptionen Desværre midl. problemer med det trådløse net - men meget imødekommende. Udmærket hotelområde med butik til daglige fornødenheder og pool. Der er en konstant brise da det er nordligt og ude ved kysten, og nogle mere udsatte end andre. Ved poolen dog generelt roligt - men også forfriskende med lidt […] vind. Nous bougeons beaucoup heureusement pour nous ce qui nous a permis de trouver de superbes plages aussi bien dans le nord que le sud de l'île ainsi que des paysages superbes par leur originalité mais rien qui puisse attirer le regard autour de l'hôtel même […] ! Très bon hotel, juste à côté des spots de surf, très proche de la route qui part sur le North Shore Je recommande pour les surfeurs @ 10min du centre ville à pied ya des chats partout, j'en ai hébergé un pendant mon séjours :-D le seul petit point négatif, il ne passe pas tous les jours pour nettoyer la chambre.
