Härlig slottsmiljö. Tur att det inte var fullmåne, då hade säkert Dracula uppenbarat sig. Vår GPS tog inte emot adressen, kanske lite svårfunnet dåligt skyltat från huvudvägen, synd,och även långt till en kvällsrestaurang,annars allt toppen

Hotellet låg mycket centralt, ett par hundra meter till gamla staden med dess gränder, affärer och restauranger. Saknade hiss då mannen i familjen har mycket svårt för att gå i trappor. Garaget som erbjöds för 8 euro per natt hade tyvärr en trasig port så bilarna stod i alla fall helt öppet. Ankomstkvällen lite problem med personal som kunde mindre engelska än vi kunde franska men nästa dag fanns det en portier på plats som var infödd engelsman. Dessutom är det ju så att om man bara försöker prata franska så försöker de flesta fransmän förstå.

"Excellent location"
Our stay was excellent as we added a couple more nights. The hotel was comfortable, great dejeuner breakfast and the staff were friendly. It is close to the must-see sights and well within walking distance to all plus restaurants and markets.Verifierad gästrecension
"handy to Pont Du Gard"
I only stayed overnight in order to go to pont Du Gard which I was able to see via a bus trip. All my travel in France was by rail pass so any place that gave accesss to a special place was a bonus. I got to my hotel with the help of a bus driver but the area wasn't great, a bit dingy but Nimes is an old place. My room was clean but small, but an added […] and appreciated bonus- tea making facilities. helpful staff who recommended a close by famliy owned restaurant with great local food. a bit confusing finding the restaurant as one street had a sign but no access and the other streeet had a sign but the actual entrance to the hotel was under a different name. "A good location at feria time"
The hotel is in a quiet location but near enough to all the action that Nimes has to offer. My single room was comfortable and clean although the on suite was a little cramped. "Nimes experience"
It was being redecorated during my stay, so may look a bit better when done. Bedroom and shower room basic but OK TV worked fine, kettle working but did not like the disposal cardboard coffee cups! Hotel well placed for access in to old town etc.Verifierad gästrecension från Expedia

If you arrive in Nimes by air the shuttle bus is just outside,costs you a few Euros one way and is very prompt.It takes you into the centre of Nimes,drops you off at the Novotel hotel and the Kyriad is a 5 to 10 minutes walk away.It is situated in a backstreet and is very quiet.The rooms are basic but for the price you cannot complain.There are no drawers […] only hanging space,but for a short city break it's no problem.The room is cleaned every day and the bathroom is spotless.In ours anyway. As for sightseeing and restaurants in the town,it couldn't be better.You can walk to them without wearing your feet out! "Kyriad Hotel Nimes Centre -- A Mixed Bag"
Although we had reservations at least a month in advance, when we arrived we were told the hotel was booked and the only room available was at the back of the hotel on the first floor. The room looked like a cross between a 1950s dorm room and a medium security prison. What's worse, the toilet was VISIBLY DIRTY!!! We were in a bind and really couldn't […] change our plans at that point, so we reluctantly stayed. We were told we might be able to get another room the next morning. We were able to switch rooms at that time and were given a room that was not that uncomparable to other older European hotels in which we've stayed. However, in this case, there was barely any way to move around the room because there was such little space between the bed and the walls. At least the bathroom was clean in this room. The hotel is located on Rue Roussy which angles off Boulevard de l'Amiral Courbet. We've never seen as many beggars, homeless people and people sleeping on the street as we did on Blvd. Courbet and we've traveled a LOT throughout major cities in England, Germany, France & Italy. Also, there was a major detour on the main road leading to this area and were it not for the GPS device on my husband's phone, we'd still be trying to navigate to the hotel. Given the scope of the road construction on a major artery leading into this area of town, it would have been helpful for the hotel to mention this, either on their website, by email upon reserving a room or some other method. On a positive note, the staff was pleasant and helpful. There is a garage on-site where you can park and the staff was very helpful navigating in and out of the tight space. They also suggested parking on the street on the weekends when it's free to save a few Euros. Finally, just to give some context to this review, my husband and I are experienced travelers. Un hôtel propre, en plein centre ville, à l'hygiène et aux services irréprochables. La habitación doble es pequeña para estancias de más de tres días pues no cuenta con armario adecuado ni espacios para estar sentado en la habitación sentado o de pie fuera de la cama. El desayuno es muy caro, con un café imbebible de máquina con sabor a leche o café en polvo. Así mismo apenas cuenta con espacio común y el aparcamiento es caro.
