Hotell Hotel 2000 Roma - Rom

Efter att ha läst en del negativa resentioner före min resa till Hotel 2000 Roma var jag lite avvaktande. Det som skrevs var tyvärr sant. Att tänka på är att det finns kylskåp på rummen där man kan förvara egen frukost då hotellets var något tunn, med svenska mått mätt. Hotellet hade íngen skylt vid entrén men adressen var lätt att hitta till från bussterminalen. […] Hotellet delade ut en turistkarta med alla sevärdheterna inringade vilket underlättade betydligt. Personalen var artiga och trevliga och väl omhändertagande. Om jag skulle återvända? JA absolut, rätt läge och rätt pris uppväger allt som kan uppfattas som negativt. En litet trevligt hotell med vänlig personal som tipsade om bussar, Metro och bra närliggande restauranger. Hjälpte till med bil till flyget vid hemresan. Läget gör det lätt att ta sig runt hela Rom. Kaffe och croissant serverades på rummet varje morgon! Det enda vi saknade på hotellet var tillgång till Internet. Vi återkommer gärna.

Ett litet och personligt hotell med rena, bekväma rum. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Läget kunde inte bli bättre, gångavstånd till det mesta. Kan starkt rekommendera det.

Hotellet ligger perfekt med närhet till allt, dock ganska knepigt att hitta eftersom det inte finns någon skylt utanför. Det finns endast 14 rum och servicen var inte alls bra, tex fanns det inte strykjärn att låna och om man frågade i receptionen efter olika saker hade de ingen koll alls. Frukosten var inte heller så rolig. (Croissant och kaffe/thé). […] Enligt hotels.com skulle det finnas dricksvatten på rummet som ingick i priset men det fick man ändå betala för vid utcheckningen. The hotel is perfectly adequate, in a central location---extremely close to Trevi Fountain, and within walking distance to Spanish Steps, Colosseum, and Vatican City. Breakfast consists of coffee and choice of croissant or cereal. While the breakfast is small, it is conveniently served in-room. The service is excellent and the hotel is clean. This hotel is in a safe area and walking distance to everything that you want to see. The rooms are lovely and very clean and the shower is large (which is good because my husband is a large man). Location very good, close to Via Venetian / Fontana Di Trevi. single rooms tiny ( 2x3 mtr) and more like comfortable store rooms. Bed comfy, bathroom clean, also tiny. Stay away from the mouthwah baker - not very hygienic. TV has loads of channels all Italian. Continental BF nothing special. Agree with most of the other reviews- perfectly adequate, clean, and above all, great location. We walked everywhere, even to the Vatican, imperial Rome and train station. You can see the statue at the top of the Spanish steps in the picture shown on this website (which is taken from outside the hotel) As said by others, there is AC but it’s quite weak. […] Desk staff is polite and somewhat helpful, don’t expect a full concierge. We had a room facing the street- noise wasn't bad. “Breakfast” is room service with tea or coffee and then either a croissant or cereal. We are a family of 4. We spent 2 nights at this hotel in Rome. The air conditioning did not work well. The carpets, and furniture showed stains and were very run down. I would not recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel 2000 Roma. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from the Barberini stop on Metro A, and also within walking distance of pretty much anything in the city center (it's a straight shot to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon in about 10 minutes, and even Trastevere is only about 30 minutes away on foot). The rooms were nice, […] clean, and pretty large. There is also an air conditioner in each room, which was nice in the July heat. And I really enjoyed getting a cappuccino and croissant delivered to my room every morning! Oh, and there is free Wi-Fi! The only not-so-perfect aspect of the hotel is that you have to ring the buzzer outside to get into the building, so if you stay out till 1am the hotel man might not be ecstatic when you return (but don't worry, he'll still let you in!). ... but gets the job done. The hotel staff was pretty indifferent and not very helpful on any level. The room was decent enough and actually had AC, so that was a plus. Charged 5 euro for 3 hrs of wifi access which is kind of lame. The hotel does not have a sign and is an apartment door. A great dissappointment

Excellent location as we were able to walk to quite a few major places of interest (Trevi, Spanish Steps, St. Mary's Basillica, Quirinale, House of Deputies and many beautiful churches). Very clean and well maintained. Close to the metro though there is an uphill walk to the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The building in which the hotel is located is completely unmarked and does not look like a hotel at all, the only indication of the hotel is the name next to the doorbell. so be aware that it is hard to find. Location, location, location. Easy to get to by subway. Centrally located. The room is nothing special, but it was clean and affordable.

The fridge worked! Wireless internet worked and was free! The shower was awesome. No elevator, but not a big deal for us. Some much needed minor repairs (bathroom floor tile). The continental breakfast was limiting, but OK. The staff was friendly...not the most helpful, but they tried.

Definitely worth the price, great opportunity to be in the center of Rome for a small price.

The "Hotel" is in a great location, within walking distance from the train station, in between Tivoli Fountain and the Spanish Steps. A metro stop just down the street is very convenient. It is a very small hotel, but a good deal for the location. There is no lobby space or public space, breakfast is served in your room. Although the location was acceptable and the price was better than surrounding hotels, I was not satisfied with my stay. The room was much smaller than it appeared in the website pictures. The bed was two single sized mattresses, which is typical of European hotels. However, they were not bound together by a mattress band nor was there a pad over the […] mattresses. This resulted in a gap in the bed. The air conditioner was on a timer of sorts with no instructions on how to use it. This resulted in me having to open the window for cool air and a large amount of street noise throughout the night. Finally, the shower curtain was extremely soiled. The hotel was very difficult to find. No obvious sign or indicator to locate this tucked away location. Nearby land marks exist that could be referenced to make it simple to locate even if a sign is not allowed to be possted(which I was told was the case by the staff).The description of the hotel should be made more clear! This is a very small, low […] frills establishment to sleep in while in a BIG city. This can be acceptable, but should be declared up front. While the staff were helpful, the hotel was not what we expected. The best way to describe our stay was to compare it to staying on a cruiseliner. Cramped but functional. The bathroom door even had a sliding door(missing lock mechanism). The room was well trafficked, the bedspread had pen marks on it and a cut on it. A narrow,curved staircase (12? steps) lead to the hotel rooms. No parking available at the hotel. Public parking was available on the opposite side of the block but a haul (drop off your bags first at the reception desk). Should I be the one to explain how to best utilize this hotel?!? ( Find it by entering the 2nd large arch way after the National Art Museum, a small "ROMA 2000" doorbell is labelled, the entranceway is across from a building numbered 347 (i think that is what it was). After a long journey, we simply were not impressed by this place. At best it is a 2 on a 5 point scale. Cons: The hotel is a little small but for a large city like Rome, it can be expected. Have to walk uphill to get to the hotel so you may want to consider that. But it's not a deal breaker though. Rooms themselves are nice and spacious; although had a little paint cracks on upper walls. BEWARE: Bottled water is not Complimentary as mentioned by hotels.com. […] I paid 20 Euros for using 10 water bottles and I did not know that untill the day of check out. Pros: Barberini metro station is 5 minutes walk. Around the metro station is a nice piazza surrounded by restaurants. the pharmacy is walking distance too. Fontana Di Trevi and Piazza Navona are also walking distance (10 to 20 minutes). Spanish steps are 10 mins walk as well. Läs mer

We were really pleased to end up in this hotel. It was very good value for money, with nicely decorated, comfortable rooms and large bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The only inconvenience was that the wireless internet wasn't working during our whole stay. The location is perfect, with the Trevi […] fountain 5-10 minutes walk in one direction, and the Piazza di Spagna 5-10 minutes walk in the other. A great base to explore Rome from. Läs mer

Lähellä keskustaa, hyvä palvelu, valmis opaskartta, johon merkitty kaikki Rooman nähtävyydet. Hyvä yhteys kentälle metron ja junan avulla, vain 1,5h hotellista ja olet kentällä.Huonoa oli ulkoinen näkyvyys, ei merkintää hotellista, vain soittokello oven vieressä. Etsimisen jälkeen löytyi oikea paikka

A localizaçao do hotel é otima, proximo a Fontana de Trevi, metro e a estação Termini. Quarto bem confortavel.

This so called hotel do not have a sign on the exterior of the building. It is very difficult to find using the map. It is just an apartment inside a residential building. The shower head is mounted on the roof, taking shower means that the water must fall down on your head. It is not a comfortable feeling. Ligger sentalt, men det er ingen frokostsal og det man får servert på rommet var dårlig. Rommene var rene og helt Ok.

Vær opmærksom på at Hotellet er meget svært at finde! Receptionen er meget venlig og hjælpsom så fin service hvad det angår. Vi var advaret mht morgenmaden på hotellet men det var ikke så slemt. Vi fik en bakke leveret på værelset med cornflakes, musli og en croissant samt valgfri kop kaffe. Det var ganske fint og ok til at starte dagen på. Die Zimmer sind dahingehend gewöhnungsbedürftig, da Fenster unten und nicht oben angeordnet sind. Die Zimmer sind dadurch dunkel. Ist nur akzeptabel, wenn man sich nur zum Schlafen im Hotel aufhält. We konden het bijna niet geloven: een hotel voor deze prijs in het hartje van Rome, op wandelafstand van de Spaanse Trappen, de Trevi-fontein, de villa Borghese, vlakbij het mooi palazzo Barberini... Zorg wel dat je straatnaam en -nummer bij de hand hebt, want van buitenaf zie je niet dat dit een hotel is. De kamers zijn niet groot maar netjes, het […] (sobere) ontbijt wordt 's morgens op de kamer gebracht. Gelukkig zijn we steeds voorzien op lawaai en hebben we oordopjes bij. Onze kamer lag namelijk naast de receptie en het hotel ligt langs een drukke straat. Maar qua prijs-kwaliteit vermoed ik dat dit hotel moeilijk te kloppen is. Läs mer

Pieni perhehotellli, jossa on aivan loistava ja ystävällinen palvelu. Koska aamiaishuonetta ei ole, tuotiin perusaamiainen huoneeseen joka päivä juuri silloin kun halusi. Huone on suuri ja ja siisti. Hotellin sijainti on aivan loistava. Suosittelemme lämpimästi.

tren istasyonuna çok yakın. tek kusuru tabelası yok. kapı üzerindeki zillerde sadece hotel roma diye geçiyor. italyan otellerine göre geniş ve konforlu.. kahvaltısı zayıf olsa da önemli değil.

Ligging hotel is uitstekend, wij hebben alle bezienswaardigheden per benenwagen opgezocht. Het hoofdstation is 15 minuten ter voet verwijderd van het hotel. Het hotel is van de buitenkant alleen herkenbaar op het naambordje van de deurbel (h2000). Voor de rest is het volstrekt onherkenbaar, zorg dus dat je een goede kaart of navigatie bij je hebt zodat […] je de grote voordeur niet zomaar voorbij loopt. De voordeur van het hotel is gesloten, de enige manier, ook na inchecken, om binnen te komen is aan te bellen zodat de receptie de deur open doet. De sleutel van je hotelkamer moet bij vertrekken van de hotelkamer ingeleverd worden bij de receptie. Bij terugkomt in het hotel krijg je de sleutel weer zodat je je kamerdeur open kan doen. Een erg raar systeem, wat is dan immers het nut van een sleutel? De kamer was klein, maar voorzien van alle gemakken. Een opmerking is echter wel dat de ventilatie in de badkamer ronduit waardeloos is, het zich uit in zwarte schimmel tegen het plafond van de douche en nog viezer, ook op het douchegordijn. Verwacht bij het ontbijt geen restaurant gevuld emt een buffet. Het is een erg klein hotel (5 kamers voor zover ik kon zien) en het ontbijt bestaat uit cornflakes, cruesli of een matige croisant met koffie of thee. Dit wordt op een afgesprokentijdstip aan de deur van je kamer bezorgd. Zorg dus dat je wakker bent op dat moment. Andere hotels hebben weer andere eigenaardigheden, maar het is wel belangrijk dat je ze kent en zelf kan oordelen of je je er aan gaat storen of niet. Persoonlijk is een hotel voor mij alleen een slaapplek en kan ik me er niet echt druk om maken. Bovenstaande ongemakken in acht nemende zou ik hier gewoon weer heengaan. Om de reden dat dit het goedkoopste hotel is wat pal in het centrum lag dat ik ten tijde van mijn reis heb kunnen vinden. Läs mer

Hotellet har ikke noget skildt udenfor, det ligner noget meget privat, men da jeg først var kommet ind, levede det helt op til forventingerne til denne pris. Det ligger også OK. Var bange for gadestøj, men det viste sig at være uden grund..
